High-speed trains rzhd list. About Russian Railways

One of the important advantages of a double-decker car is that it can accommodate more passengers. There are 64 berths (16 compartments) in a double-deck compartment car, and only 36 of them (9 compartments) in a regular carriage. Due to this, the fare on a double-decker train is lower than on trains of the same class. The train departs at 10 am from the Kazansky railway station and covers the distance between Moscow and Adler in 25 hours.

The train includes the following carriages:

  • SV (32 places)
  • coupe (64 seats)
  • headquarters (for 50 seats; with a place for persons with disabilities)
  • dining car

Services for passengers

The cars consist of 4-seater or 2-seater isolated compartments located on two floors. The equipment of the cars includes air conditioning and heating systems, three dry closets, LED lamps, a video surveillance system, a control system, access control and protection of a passenger train. Energy is supplied from an electric locomotive, which ensures the environmental friendliness of the train.

Each compartment has a table, mirrors, shelves for small items, lamps, stairs to climb to the top. The compartments are equipped with two sockets for connecting electric shavers, mobile and other devices with a power of not more than 100 watts. In 2-seater compartments (CB) each seat is equipped with an LCD display for viewing video programs.

The staff car is equipped with satellite communications and navigation equipment (GLONASS).

The fare includes: bed linen, drinking water. The cars are provided with sanitary and hygienic items of improved quality. Additional services are also offered: the sale of tea and confectionery products, printed publications, souvenirs and other goods.

The railway is one of the most convenient and affordable types of public transport in our country. Moreover, in recent years, the quality of transportation has grown significantly - new rolling stock is being purchased, the list of additional services is being expanded, and the speed of movement is being increased.

Distinctive features

A branded train has certain features, which, among other things, can distinguish it from others. Among them:

  • plying throughout the year (and not only in a certain season - for example, from June to September);
  • most often, providing a line-up for communication between Moscow / St. Petersburg and one of the regional centers. But there are exceptions. For example, train 109/110 "Day Express" Samara - Penza. Or train 115/116 "Omich", which runs from Omsk to Nizhnevartovsk and back;
  • often - high route speed, the train stops only at the main stations, but not in small settlements;
  • the name of the train. For example, "Tomich" (Tomsk - Moscow), "Ivan Parysty" (Moscow - Bryansk), "Polar Arrow" (Moscow - Labytnangi). This name is indicated, among other things, on route signs, inside cars, etc. The exception is the Premium class trains - they do not have names.

In addition, earlier many “firmachi” also had individual coloring of cars, according to which the composition could be distinguished from afar. But during the rebranding of Russian Railways, all cars gradually began to be repainted in a standard gray-red livery.

RZD branded train

Note! The difference between the cost of a ticket to a branded and regular train is on average 20-50% (branded is more expensive).

rolling stock requirements

If, in fact, any wagon that would comply with the established rules in terms of serviceability can be put into the composition of a “simple” train, then this cannot be done with a “firmach”.

The difference is that additional requirements are imposed on wagons (and not only):

  • the maximum age after construction or overhaul should be 12 years;
  • wagons cannot be different. They must be designed in the same style of the company that owns them (for example, FPC). For "premiums", respectively, we are talking about the style of Russian Railways;
  • bed linen should be either new or fresh (that is, be in use for a short period of time);
  • the shape of the conductors is unique and tailored specifically for this composition.

List of Russian Railways branded trains

Currently, about 83 branded trains run in our country. This figure is not constant and may vary. After all, experts are constantly examining passenger traffic. One train may be added, another may be canceled altogether or only a group of RZD branded trailer cars may be left instead. It happens that the company is taken away from the train and transferred to the ambulance, but it can be returned later. This is exactly what happened with train 015/016 Arktika on the Murmansk-Moscow route. All fast trains of Russian Railways are listed on the official website.

Here are just some of the RZD branded trains:

  • 321/211 "Barguzin" (Zabaikalsk - Irkutsk);
  • 617/618 "White Nights" (Vologda - St. Petersburg);
  • 041/042 "Vorkuta" (Vorkuta - Moscow);
  • 057/058 "Mari El" (Yoshkar-Ola - Moscow);
  • 025/026 "Change - A. Betancourt" (St. Petersburg - Moscow);
  • 005G / 005Zh "Lotos" (Astrakhan - Moscow);
  • 045/046 "Textile Land" (Ivanovo - St. Petersburg with trailers from Kostroma);
  • 031/032 "Leo Tolstoy" (Moscow - Helsinki).

Train "Leo Tolstoy"

Standing apart in this series, of course, is the composition 001/002 "Russia", plying from Vladivostok to Moscow and back. This is the main train of the country. Its route is the longest in the world and is 9288 km long.

In addition, there is another very interesting branded passenger train. This is 001/002 Sakhalin (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk-Nogliki) - the only Russian Railways company that is not serviced by JSC FPC and, moreover, is narrow-gauge (1067 mm).

Services

Depending on the specific train and wagon, certain services may be provided to passengers. Some of them are included in the ticket price, others will have to be paid extra.

The cost depends on the availability of the following services:

  • the presence of an air conditioner in the car (works during the summer period);
  • the presence of a dry closet instead of the usual, gravitational one;
  • the presence of a washbasin and a shower in the compartment;
  • individual sanitary and hygienic set (consists of a toothbrush, toilet soap, a wet wipe for hands, as well as wipes for shoes);
  • fresh press;
  • the possibility of transporting animals (for a fee and with certain restrictions).

Premium compositions

These are seven branded trains. They use only cars produced by TVZ and, as a rule, fresh two-system electric locomotives EP10 or EP20.

Buying tickets and registering

To find out if there is a train in the desired direction and on a certain date, you need to go to the Russian Railways website, select the initial data, then select the train of interest. Next to each wagon, the ticket price will be indicated, as well as a description and a list of services in the form of pictograms.

If electronic registration is available for the train (this is indicated by the “ER” icon), then after completing this simple procedure (namely, entering personal data), the passenger receives an electronic coupon that can be presented to the conductor on the device’s display, or pre-printed on A4 sheet and show this paper.

The branded train is the "major league" for Russian Railways. Riding in such a composition will be comfortable and enjoyable. This means that you can be sure that in the summer it will be cool inside, the car will be fresh, and the bed linen will not be worn out.

1. History of branded trains

The history of branded trains on Russian railways goes back over 70 years: on May 10, 1931, the first branded train "Strela" set off.

A branded train is a modern equipment of carriages and a unique design, high quality service and a wide range of services. Each branded train has a unique name associated with its route.

On June 1, 2009, 6 branded trains of Russian Railways were transferred to the Premium class. Premium class trains are distinguished by the maximum level of comfort and reliability.

A branded passenger train is one of the categories of comfortable passenger trains. Branded trains appeared in the USSR and exist in several countries of the post-Soviet space. All requirements for branded trains of the CIS and Baltic countries are set out in the regulation "On branded passenger trains". All branded trains in Russia are periodically re-certified in the FPD.

The first branded train in the USSR - "Red Arrow" began to run between Leningrad and Moscow in 1931. During the blockade of Leningrad, its running was interrupted, but immediately after the blockade was lifted, the running of this train was resumed.

2. Characteristics of the branded train

Each branded train is decorated in a specific style, which is reflected in both external and internal design, and has an individual name (usually associated with the region served by the road, its history and traditions).

Branded trains are formed from passenger cars that have been in operation for no more than 12 years after construction or overhaul. The train must have luxury carriages with special service, the cost of which is included in the fare. Depending on the range of services provided, luxury carriages are divided into economy, business class and luxury.

In several branded trains, luxury carriages of increased comfort run (there are 4 compartments in the carriage, heated floors, separate showers and toilets). The inclusion of a luxury carriage in a train for a one-time trip is possible upon the application of a legal entity to the Federal Passenger Directorate. The term of execution depends on the complexity of the route of the proposed trip.

According to the requirements for a branded train, the temperature in the car interior in the winter and transitional seasons should be 18-22 degrees, in the summer - 22-26 degrees. To date, most of the trains are equipped with air conditioning and electric heating systems, TVs, some have Internet access and cable TV.

In the brigade of branded staff there are the best conductors who have been certified for the right to work in a branded train.

3. Distinctive features of the branded train

1. The presence of a train's own name (name) (for example, "Russia" with the Moscow - Vladivostok message, "Change" with the Moscow - St. Petersburg message, "Tomich" with the Tomsk - Moscow message, "Gilyuy" with the Tynda - Blagoveshchensk message), which is indicated on route boards, side walls of wagons, used in the design of the interior of the wagon;

2. As a rule, the presence of the train in circulation all year round;

3. As a rule, the train route between a large city (usually a regional center) and Moscow (for example, "Vologda Dawns" Vologda - Moscow, or between a regional center and a resort (for example, "Ilmen" Chelyabinsk - Anapa);

4. Tickets for branded trains are 20-50% more expensive than regular tickets.

4. Requirements for branded trains

1. Formation from wagons that have been in operation for no more than 12 years after construction or overhaul;

2. Interior design of all train cars in a single corporate style;

3. The presence of sets of new bed linen or bed linen with a short service life;

4. The shape of the conductors is the same for the entire composition of the train, individual cut and designed in the corporate style.

5. Service in branded trains

2. providing passengers with chilled boiled water;

3. making and cleaning beds;

For many, the difference between branded and regular trains is only the price. But this is only a consequence, and the reason lies in the real differences.

Definition

Ordinary train(aka passenger) - a train made up of passenger cars for the purpose of transporting people and their luggage. Like any train, it has one or more locomotives and is also equipped with signals (audible and visible) to indicate "head" and "tail".

Signature train(aka branded passenger) - this is the same train, but belonging to the category of comfortable. This category appeared back in the USSR and exists to this day in a number of post-Soviet countries. A prerequisite for maintaining "brand name" is the periodic recertification in the Federal Passenger Company - "Federal Passenger Company".

Comparison

Given that the often difficult conditions of travel in a regular train are known to everyone, the features of a branded train will be listed below.

So, according to the official information of Russian Railways, trains can claim to be "branded":

  • consisting of modern wagons equipped with air conditioners and in operation for no more than 12 years;
  • with a convenient traffic schedule and the shortest travel time;
  • incorporating a car with a double special compartment for passengers with disabilities;
  • with qualified guides trained according to a special program;
  • with improved quality of bed linen, bedding and sanitary and hygienic items;
  • with preliminary covering of the upper berths.

A distinctive feature of such trains is also the presence of their own, often characterizing the direction of the name: "Lotos" (Astrakhan - Moscow), "Baikal" (Irkutsk - St. Petersburg), "White Nights" (St. Petersburg - Vologda), etc. .

Company train. coupe

As for the cost of tickets, it is really 20-50% higher than the cost of traveling on a regular long-distance train. However, this is quite expected, given that in addition to the differences indicated above, there is a list of services included in the ticket price. We will not dwell on the number of hot food dishes, drinks and printed publications, but the composition of the hygiene kit is worthy of attention:

  • Economy class: napkins (paper and wet), comb, dental kit (brush, paste, toothpick);
  • Business class: the same as in the economy class set, plus soap, handkerchiefs, cosmetic bag, horn and shoe napkin;
  • Deluxe Class: Same as the Business Class set, plus shampoo, body sponge, shower gel, hand cream, terry bathrobe and slippers.

Naturally, all of the above are only part of the mandatory requirements. For example, few passengers know that, according to clause 5.4.9 of OST 32-24-93 "Standardization in servicing the population on railway transport", radio communications should not only work, but also transmit:

  • greeting words and words of farewell at the appropriate moments of the train movement;
  • information about the rules of travel and the services provided;
  • announcements about the time of departure, arrival, as well as the duration of parking;
  • informative programs about the cities through which the train passes, etc.

It is also possible that the news for passengers will be the obligatory support of the temperature regime (in winter - 18-22 ° С, in summer - 22-26 ° С) without the excuses of the conductors "we will go - it will heat up" or "we will go - it will blow out".

Findings site

  1. The cost of a ticket for a branded train is 20-50% more expensive.
  2. The quality of the service provided by the branded train is higher, and the number of services provided, included in the ticket price, is greater.
