Standard actuators for ventilation

When used in an electric ventilation system, a standard electric ventilation actuator can be used or an electric drive without a return spring, and when using a duct water heater, it is necessary to use an electric drive with a return spring or a drive with a built-in capacitor with a protective emergency function. The use of such drives is necessary to prevent the penetration of cold, street air into the channel, and further freezing of the heat exchanger, in case of an emergency power outage.

Standard electric drive for ventilation or an actuator without a return spring will leave the channel damper in the open state in the event of a power outage, i.e. at the original location.

With return spring (with protective function)

In an actuator with a return spring, mechanical energy is accumulated (spring charging) during the rotation of the damper to the operating position, and the accumulated energy is released for emergency closing.

With built-in capacitor (with protective function)

An alternative to the standard spring return actuator is the more expensive and functional actuator with built-in capacitor. When such a drive is connected to the electrical network, an accumulation occurs, the accumulation of an electric charge necessary for closing air valve.
