Swimming areas for children and people who cannot swim will be set up on Moscow beaches. This was previously stated by the head of the Moscow city search and rescue service at water bodies Vasily Maryan. Last year, not a single person drowned on the official beaches in Moscow. And over the past 10 years, more than 95 percent of those who drowned died in places where swimming is prohibited.

Four services monitor water safety in Moscow:

On the eve of summer in the capital, some routes of land transport. It is expected that the new routes will make it easier for Muscovites to get to city beaches and parks. According to tradition, by the summer the number of passengers in these areas increases by about a third.

Starting from April 23 to September 30, on weekends, trolleybus route No. 20 was extended to the Moscow River Bank stop. In addition, the intervals of movement on the trolleybus route No. 21 from the Polezhaevskaya metro station to Serebryany Bor have been reduced.

Entry into the territory of Serebryany Bor by personal transport is only possible with a special pass, if you do not have one, you can leave the car in the parking lot (for 50 places) near the checkpoint, and then walk 2 km or take a minibus. Public transport and taxis pass without problems.

By the way, on July 28, 2018, an Eco-picnic will be held on the Serebryany Bor 2 beach. A rich program awaits you from 11:00 to 19:00: master classes in yoga, kite flying, SUP, concerts and team games, lectures on environmental protection. Local cafes will offer you to refresh yourself with a simple delicious menu and fast food, but it is better to take drinking water with you. Beach "Levoberezhny"

Another no less popular beach among the residents of the capital, which is already over 70 years old. Located in the north of Moscow in the bay of the Vorobyovka river. The reservoir was formed in a sand quarry, so there is a lot of it, but there are also sharp stones, so it is better to walk in shoes. The reconstruction of Levoberezhny was completed in 2017, benches, bridges, gazebos, paths, a sports area with exercise equipment and a volleyball court appeared. For young visitors, a special swimming area is equipped, a children's labyrinth town and slides are built, as well as a sandbox and a swing. The entire infrastructure meets the requirements, the only thing that is not here is sun loungers. On hot days, up to 5,000 thousand people visit the recreation area, so it’s better to come early. Parking for 70 cars is free and fills up quickly. There is bike parking, so feel free to come by bike.

Beach "Troparevo"

It is located on the territory of the Teply Stan natural reserve in the ecological zone. In 2007, the reservoir added to the list of places in Moscow where water fun is officially allowed. The surrounding area was cleaned and equipped with a beach. It is about 30 meters long, the bottom is sandy in some places, but mostly muddy. The shore of the pond is high, so special ladders are used to enter the water. By the middle of summer, the water warms up very well. There are places to change clothes, a shower, a toilet, free WI-FI, a medical service, a rescue post and even several turnkey houses. From entertainment, volleyball, football, badminton, a shooting range and rental of boats are available. Younger visitors can ride electric cars, carousels and jump on trampolines. There is a free rope town 50 meters from the beach. Various cafes and food outlets offer a choice of a full meal or buy snacks for a snack. It is better to take the things necessary for rest with you. There is free parking for 50 cars.

Lake "Meshcherskoe"

In pre-revolutionary times, the lake and the surrounding lands belonged to the Meshchersky princes, hence the name. Nowadays, this is a well-known area for swimming and beach recreation near the village of the same name. The water here is very clean and warms up well. The beach itself is small (about 100m), but very cozy, there is a forest nearby with rare plants and 100-year-old trees. There are no sun loungers and umbrellas here, but otherwise everything is as usual: places to change clothes, showers, a rescue tower and a first-aid post. Fans of outdoor activities play volleyball, mini-football, fishermen enjoy fishing. A whole Angry Birds park with slides and carousels has been built for children. Hungry, you can cook dishes on the grill or go to a cafe. If you want to enjoy peace and quiet, come here before noon.
