The hotel is not new but in good condition. Upon arrival, the first thing in the room was to kill a mosquito that was waiting for its prey :) But, fortunately, I did not find more insects. The hotel itself was smaller than I expected. Small pool, about 10 sunbeds, which are often busy. The side is not particularly sunny, so only by 11 o’clock the sun comes out and you can sunbathe. But since the beach is nearby, I preferred to go to the sea. The corridors and the room are made in rather gloomy dark green tones, which does not really match sunny Spain. My room also overlooked the non-sunny side, respectively, on the sunbed it was possible to sunbathe only in the late afternoon and in general it was somewhat dark. The air conditioner works either strongly or not at all. As a result, I ventilated for 5 minutes, and slept without air conditioning, although it was not particularly hot. Many praised the food, but I was not delighted. Breakfasts are monotonous, but I liked oatmeal, basically I took it. Lots of pastries, good yoghurts. Coffee from the machine is more like cocoa, even if you take cappuccino or cortado, but there is a machine with capsule coffee, so I took espresso separately and milk separately. There are many fruits and vegetables, but they are somehow unripe - peaches are sour, tomatoes are colorless. Strangely enough, apparently the hotel saved on quality products. Lunches and dinners each day were slightly different in hot, but everything tasted very mediocre, there were few desserts and they were also not particularly good. The meat, which was fried right in front of the guests, was fatty and oily. Although I don’t seem to be a gourmet and rather omnivorous, I expected that the food would be better :) Drinks for lunch and dinner are all paid, so you even have to pay for drinking water.

Chose this hotel based on the price and the mass of positive reviews. Let me start by saying that the hotel is in a great location. In the area there are shops, cafes, the beach is 5-7 minutes on foot. Since the hotel is not on the first line, it is quite quiet at night. In general, all these days I slept comfortably and nothing interfered. The check in was quick, since I arrived in the middle of the night, there were no people. The administrators are friendly, one woman even speaks Russian. In the neighboring building of the hotel there is a gym, though quite small - only three cardio machines (ellipse, treadmill, exercise bike), two dumbbells, a multifunctional simulator, a jump rope, a fitball, a bench. The training was successful, so that the hall as a whole was satisfied. They cleaned every day, took out the trash and made the bed. As for the toiletries in the bathroom, there was shampoo, shower gel, shower cap, hairbrush. Upon arrival, I forgot my toothbrush, but the hotel, unfortunately, could not provide me with a disposable set. The room has a TV with two Russian channels and a mini-fridge. Safe is provided for a fee. There are many Russians and foreigners in the hotel. But in general, the contingent was decent, there were practically no children, mostly all adults. When checking out, I received two extra hours (instead of 10 check out at 12), and was able to leave things in the luggage room. Despite all the disadvantages, I was very satisfied with the rest and I will definitely come to sunny Spain again :)

As for the location of the hotel, I found it to be perfect. Bus station 3 min. walk (from there you can go to Barcelona, Girona, Tossa, etc., etc.). Stop from which take away on excursions in 1 min. walk from the hotel (opposite OLIMPIA RENT A CAR - they rent cars there). Sea in 5-7 min. walk through the streets with shops and snacks. Disco street 4 min. walk, but at the same time the hotel is located so that violent Germans and pretty drunk Russians hanging out at the disco and near you can’t hear!
Meals: We took breakfast and dinner. For breakfast: scrambled eggs (when scrambled), various sausages, sliced sausages (several types), cheeses (several types), chicken mcnuggets (or the same thing, but not chicken, but cheese), yogurts, various buns, cookies, quick breakfasts (cereals with milk, etc.), fruits, milkshakes, juices, teas, coffee, champagne. Everyone will find something for themselves, you won't go hungry. For dinner: chicken, meat (in different interpretations), salads (types of 4-5), french fries, paella, fried, fresh, pickled vegetables, sausages, mussels (not always), shrimp (not always), buns, yogurts , ice cream, fruits (3-4 types per day, but change with frequency: apples, pears, oranges, apricots, peaches, nectarines, kiwi, watermelon, melon, pineapple). In general, everything is also in abundance and everything is fresh. Drinks for dinner, as well as for lunch - PAID!!! It's like that everywhere in Spain.
Service: at the reception, a Russian-speaking girl, as I already wrote, will tell you, help. Cleaning is daily, everything is clean in the rooms. Our guide in def. the clock is in place (it’s always easy to buy a tour, and just ask something). The staff is smiling and not pushy. There is Wi-Fi (paid, except for premium rooms).
In the room (standard): one double bed and two shifted lorries (xs why), a TV from my grandmother's time :) with two Russian. channels (lead 24 and 1 in my opinion), a table, 3 bedside tables, a wardrobe, a mirror, shelves. In the bathroom: a bath with a shower, a sink, a toilet, a trouble, a mirror, a hair dryer, towels (5 pieces), well, there are gels, shampoos.
The hotel has 2 elevators (there is never a queue to go up or down). There are computers in the lobby, again you can get into the Internet (for a fee). There is a swimming pool, I saw it briefly, I never swam (I didn’t have time for it). There is a vending machine with drinks (2 euros - 0.5 cola, sprite, fanta; there is something else, but I don’t remember). There is a room for luggage (for example, you leave for the airport at 13:00, and check-out takes place at 10:00, so you can leave your luggage in the luggage room for 3 hours and walk), there are also toilet rooms (because after checking out you will not be allowed).
Now a little about the various trips: we were in Tossa de Mar, it is 20 minutes. drive from Lloret (in Spanish Lloret), pts. a picturesque town, there is a castle-fortress Vila Vella (the city of romantics). Visited Girona (to go somewhere 1 hour). The main attractions of Girona are concentrated in its historical center, in the eastern part of the city, which is surrounded by a fortress wall preserved from ancient times. In Girona, you can also do good shopping. The main trip is Barcelona. It is unrealistic to cover all the sights of Barcelona in one trip (choose the most interesting for you). You can get from Lloret to Barca in 2 ways: 1) from Lloret to Blanes (about 20 minutes) by bus, then by train from Blanes to Barcelona (the bus will bring you directly to the station where the trains run). It takes about an hour to drive from Blanes to Barcelona, but + in the fact that the train travels along the coast, you will admire the beauties (we liked this option more). And by the way, the train will bring you directly to Plaza Catalunya (the center of Barcelona). Price - 13.9 euros (round trip) 2) from Lloret to Barcelona (about 1-1.1 hours) by bus and it will bring you north of Plaza Catalunya, you can reach the square on foot min. for 20, probably. Price - 20 euros (round trip). 2-a depart from Plaza Catalunya excursion routes(red and blue), each of them is lucky by definition. attractions, the bus has a type of radio in the cat. you plug in your headphones (they will be given to you when buying a ticket for this bus) and, having tuned in to the desired language, listen to the information about the approaching sights. At each stop of this bus, you can get off and look at whatever you want, and then from the landing site you will sit on the trail. bus of this route (free of charge) and follow to the next. It can be assumed that we were lucky to check into the hotel on Yana's duty, or maybe not, since we had no special desires for accommodation. We got a room in the main building, so we could not appreciate the creativity of architecture and design when renovating the second building. Very high fee for the safe. The highest cost in Spain prior to this trip was 20 euros with 10 refunded on departure. Either prices have risen, or this is a feature of the hotel. The room is ordinary, in the bathroom there is shampoo, shower gel, soap. There are no slippers or bathrobes. Cleaned daily, good enough. Towels were changed every day, linen was never changed! But the loggia is spacious, with a couch, a table and chairs. If desired, after lunch you could sunbathe, but it's hot, because the rooms are separated by blank high wallsand not the slightest breath of breeze is felt. Unfortunately, there is no clothes dryer on the loggia. It's good that they brought a rope with them and clothespins. The air conditioner is very poorly placed, the cold air blows noticeably on the bed, so they turned it off at night and opened the door to the balcony. Of course, it was not always possible to sleep because of the especially “cheerful” vacationers returning from nightclubs and discos, but nothing can be done about it. There were no problems with food, there is always a choice. We had full board, so we didn't use the street cafes. But there are plenty of cafes. Yes, there were no frills in our restaurant. Yes, there was little seafood. But fish dishes every day. They didn't stay hungry. Fruits only at the beginning of the holiday (and this was at the end of August!) were practically inedible: peaches, pears, unripe nectarines, watermelon with some dark, tasteless pulp, but just before departure, peaches and nectarines were served quite ripe. For breakfast, a large selection of jams, pastries. Liked the pizza in the evening. On the first evening, we decided to celebrate the beginning of the holiday, took a bottle of wine for... 18 euros. On the second day, on the way from the beach, we went to a shop and bought exactly the same bottle for 6 euros. At our request, it was opened for us and later we drank wine on the loggia. The staff is polite and helpful. One day the rest was spoiled by rain, it poured for almost a day, it stopped by the evening and we were able to safely go to the casino for a flamenco show. They were satisfied. The sea is very clean, the beach strip is small, there is little free space. The disadvantages were compensated by the town, cozy and colorful, which we liked the most of the previously chosen places to stay in Spain.…

Family vacation in August. I chose a hotel for a long time, and, oddly enough, according to the reviews, none of them seemed ideal ... We decided not to focus on the reviews and took a chance by choosing this particular hotel. Oh, luckily, we weren't wrong. The room was given a two-room (cosy, bright and clean). Cleaning is good, bath accessories regularly replenished. The only thing is that the design of the shower room was not thought out a little, from under the curtain splashes of water flew onto the floor of the entire bathroom. (I would recommend adding a mop in rooms with such a shower, even for security purposes). I was very pleased with the cuisine of the hotel - everything is fresh, tasty, varied. For 11 days, we tried everything ... seafood, meat, poultry, vegetables in all variations, pastries in general deserve special attention. The staff performs the work accurately and harmoniously,friendly and ready to help. From the hotel to the sea with a leisurely pace of 7 minutes, there are plenty of cafes. Busy shopping streets nearby. Leaving the hotel, turning right, then left and right again - a decent Novavenda supermarket. We chose the Aqua Bertrand hotel based on a high rating, and 4 stars promised us at least a comfortable stay at the hotel (I wanted a clean and comfortable room). But it was not there, our expectations, to put it mildly, were not justified! I will try to be as objective as possible, and then you decide for yourself whether this hotel suits you or not. Negative: We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, we were met by a very pleasant middle-aged manager, then an unpleasant picture awaited us in the room: firstly, a very uncomfortable room, I can’t say that it was shabby, but it didn’t correspond to four stars in any way! Green walls, dim light in the rooms, old furniture, the bathroom has clearly not been renovated since the first days of the hotel. Hair on the towels! The balcony is designed for a floor of a person. Notgive out all personal hygiene items, for example, there were no slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. According to our information, the hotel has a lot good rooms, but for some reason we got the most miserable number and they refused to replace it (. Why?
