  • use modern technologies and reliable aviation equipment;
  • develop a safety culture;
  • ensure that personnel are adequately qualified and aware of safety and quality issues;

Advantages and disadvantages

"Belavia" for 23 years of existence managed to show itself from the best side. Passengers who use the company's services leave positive feedback. Belavia is known for its not only highly qualified, but also friendly employees.

From January 2019, transit passengers began to use stopovers in the capital of the republic. This means that travelers who fly with a transfer in Minsk have the opportunity to stay in Belarus for up to 72 hours.

The disadvantages include a strict attitude to the implementation of transportation. For example, if a typo is found on the ticket, you may not be allowed on board, while other companies turn a blind eye to such things. If any additional service is required (for example, bringing a cat or requesting a special meal), you will need to issue a formal request for its provision. Requests are made through the help center.

Important! When selling tickets for Belavia flights through Internet resources, price deviation downwards from the official fares is not allowed.

To do this, contact the representative office of the company in advance and make an appropriate request. Special instructions are also made when booking a ticket through the website.

Important! Transportation of animals as cargo, baggage, hand luggage on flights of Belavia Airlines OJSC from the Republic of Belarus to points in the UK (London, Manchester) is prohibited. The return transportation of animals from points in the UK to the Republic of Belarus on Belavia flights is allowed.

  1. Starts 24 hours and ends 2 hours before departure.
  2. You can choose your own seat.
  3. It's best to print your boarding pass.

Check-in of travelers for charter flights and joint with other carriers, service passengers and tour groups of more than nine people takes place only at the airport. The airline starts the check-in procedure 2 hours before departure, and ends 40 minutes before departure.

Every airline that values its reputation and values its customers has frequent flyer programs. It's hard to believe, but it seems that such programs are the very rare case when free cheese is not only in a mousetrap. True, at first you still have to earn money for cheese. Every airline that values its reputation and values its customers has frequent flyer programs. It's hard to believe, but it seems that such programs are the very rare case when free cheese is not only in a mousetrap. True, at first you still have to earn money for cheese. How to do this - in a brief overview of the loyalty programs of airlines flying from Minsk.

First, a few general remarks. Participation in the programs is voluntary and absolutely free, and any passenger older than two years can become a member. The general principle for all programs: the “conditional units” earned on flights - most often miles - are a kind of air money, which, with enough of them, can be exchanged for an increased class of service, a ticket, additional services of the airlines themselves, as well as the services of their partners from related fields activities (hotels, car rental shops, shops, etc.). The most important difference between loyalty programs, as a rule, lies in the mechanisms for accumulating bonus miles. Important: a competent member of any loyalty program always names (indicates) the card number before booking a ticket, so that the miles earned are immediately credited to the account (in most programs, after the flight, if boarding passes are saved, miles can be credited after the fact), and remembers that in the case of a flight on For an award ticket, payment of taxes and fees is made by the passenger.

Belavia: Belavia Leader

How to get involved A: To join the program, you must fill out an application form, the form of which can be obtained from sales offices or agents, and send it to the airline by mail. You can also fill out an application form for participation in the program on the official website. The airline promises to consider the application within 15 working days. After the participant earns 1500 qualifying points or makes three paid flights on regular flights of Belavia, he will be sent a permanent card of the program participant. Until this moment, the participant uses a temporary card, which can be obtained along with the questionnaire at the offices or printed from the personal account on the website.

How to earn points: Points within "Belavia Leader" can be qualifying, which are credited for a flight on regular flights of the airline and depend on the route and booking class, and non-qualifying, which can be additionally accrued as part of special offers, as "gifts" for certain events or bonuses for members of the elite levels of the program. In order to move from the starting to the “silver” elite level, you need to score 25,000 qualifying points during the year, to the “gold” - 50,000. "gold" levels, respectively.

What to look out for: Points are not awarded for flights on charter flights and award tickets. Points can be earned for flights completed 2 months prior to check-in. The "shelf life" of the accumulated points is 2 years. It is best to book an award ticket 4 working days before the planned flight.

Belavia Leader provides for participation in the program of corporate clients. An economy class flight on the route Minsk - Tel Aviv is estimated at 600 points.

CzechAirways: OKPlus

How to get involved: To participate in the program, you need to fill out an application in a regular or electronic form or register by phone at the airline's contact center. The membership card of the program is sent immediately after the first transaction is marked on the member's account: a flight or the use of a partner's service.

How to earn miles: Miles are earned on scheduled flights with Czech Airlines and its partners in the SkyTeam alliance, as well as on flights with other partner airlines of the program and for the use of the services of non-flight partners. In addition, miles can be bought or transferred (albeit in a limited amount) from another OK Plus member's account. Miles can also be earned for recommending a new active member of the incentive program (1000 miles for each registered newcomer). For one domestic flight of Czech Airlines, at least 500 miles are credited, for an international one - 750 miles. The number of miles also depends on the fare of the purchased ticket. When a passenger earns the required number of miles, he automatically receives a "silver", "gold" or "platinum" membership card, which is valid for one year.

What to look out for: During the Promo Bonus promotion, additional miles are earned for each flight. In the event of a refund of an award ticket or other OK Plus reward, 5,000 miles will be deducted from the member's account. When changing the flight class, a certain number of miles is deducted from the account of the owner of the "silver" or "gold" card for each segment of the journey, depending on the flight distance. You can receive a member's account statement every month via email (free of charge) or every quarter by regular mail (for 2,000 miles). New members of the program can earn miles for flights with Czech Airlines that were made up to 3 months before the date of registration. The accumulated miles can be used for 2 years, provided that at least one transaction is recorded on the account during this time. For the flight Minsk - Prague 750 miles are credited.

EtihadAirways: EtihadGuest

How to get involved A: The fastest way is to fill out a questionnaire at any representative office of the airline or at the check-in counter at the airport, so the passenger instantly becomes the owner of the membership card. The most technologically advanced is to fill out the on-line registration form. In this case, the membership card will be sent within 30 days. The "classic" way is to send a completed application form and receive a membership card by regular mail.

How to earn miles: Miles are earned for flights with the airline and the use of partner services (hotels, banks, car rental services, shops). As miles are accumulated, the member moves up from Tier 1 (Etihad Guest Tier) to Silver Tier (Etihad Guest Silver) and then to Gold Tier (Etihad Guest Gold). Each new level implies new bonuses, including when accruing miles. The number of miles accrued depends on the flight distance, as well as on the ticket class. For example, for a Pearl Business class ticket, 50% of the number of miles is added, for a Diamond First class - 100%. Upon registration, a new Etihad Guest member receives 500 welcome miles.

What to look out for: The program allows you to receive bonuses immediately after accruing the first mile. If a member does not have enough miles to receive bonuses, he is entitled to use the "miles plus money" combination. At the same time, the passenger himself decides how many miles to spend and how much to pay in cash. Moreover, miles are also earned for the amounts spent to receive bonuses under the program. The program is permanent, ie. the member can issue an award ticket even during the high season. An additional benefit of the Etihad Guest is the family card, which allows you to register up to 8 family members and transfer 100% of the accumulated miles from account to account, which makes it possible to earn the miles needed for awards much faster. In addition, miles for flights that were made 3 months before card registration can be restored. Etihad Guest Miles are valid for redemption for 3 years from the date they are earned. For a flight on the route Minsk - Abu Dhabi in Coral Economy class, 2463 miles are credited.

Lufthansa, Austrian,LOT: Miles & More

How to get involved A: In order to become a member of the program, it is necessary to register in a way available to the passenger (for example, by filling out the registration form on the website) and open a personal Miles & More account. In confirmation of opening an account, a new member of the program receives a confirmation with a card number that entitles him to earn miles. The card itself is issued after the first mile is credited to the account.

How to earn miles A: The number of miles credited for direct flights traditionally depends on the distance between origin and destination, published minimum miles or published flat rates. The number of miles is multiplied by the booking class coefficient in accordance with the paid service class indicated on the ticket.

What to look out for: By subscribing to the Miles & More newsletter by December 31, 2009, you can receive 500 miles, which will be credited to your account within a month from the date of subscription. The program allows you to earn award miles on certain charter flights. Miles not automatically credited can be recovered within 12 months after using the relevant service. Award miles not used within 36 months from the date of enrollment will be canceled at the end of the next quarter. The awards received for miles can be transferred to close relatives or friends, but cannot be exchanged for other bonuses or sold. A standard economy class flight from Minsk to Berlin with a stopover in Vienna will add 3,000 miles to your account.

How to earn miles: Miles & Smiles earned under the Miles & Smiles program are status miles (status miles) and bonus miles (bonus miles). Depending on the amount, the status miles accumulated allow you to become the owner of a Classic Plus, Elite or Elite Plus membership card. Status miles are earned on domestic and international flights of Turkish Airlines, as well as flights of Star Alliance airlines; Award miles can be earned at partner hotels, car rentals or by paying with a Shop & Miles Credit Card. Miles can be accumulated throughout the year and can be used within three years from the date the miles were last credited. Although it is often not possible to issue award tickets during the high season due to increased demand, the validity of the program is not extended under any pretext.

What to look out for: Elite Plus card holders have the opportunity to participate in the family program. On the company's own flights, members can use the "companion ticket" service: the companion of a passenger using an award ticket can travel far fewer miles than is required to issue a second award ticket.
