The Anmaria Beach Hotel 4 * complex is located on the cleanest sea coast of Cyprus in picturesque city Ayia Napa, known for its historical sights and entertainment industry. A lot of young people from all over Europe traditionally come here. The hotel itself is built on the first coastline, although at some distance from the popular sandy beaches.

It is chosen by families with children who like to stay closer to the city center, within walking distance of many shops and cafes.

The territory is small, but compactly planned. There are two swimming pools, one of them for children. Exotic palm trees grow everywhere, against which guests like to take photos as a keepsake. There are many guests even in winter and early spring. Since the entrance to the sea nearby is very rocky, they go swimming with children to the beaches of Nissi and Makronissos, but the surroundings of the hotel are ideal for outdoor walks.

Amazing views and clear clear sea conquered those who prefer to live in the city, but not move away from nature. Although there is no active entertainment program familiar to Turkish holidays, friendly Cypriots will help everyone feel at home.

Rooms

Those who come with children should take into account the features of accommodation. According to tourists, family rooms usually have two separate beds, and on request, they put cots for children. When booking, you can immediately book a room that offers stunning views of the sea and the pool, but it is important to understand that loud music from the bar can interfere in the evenings.

If restful sleep is important, you can choose a view of the city and the construction site. From the windows of the rooms that face the outside and are located on the lower floors, trash cans are visible, so you can ask the administrators to move you to another one.

Each room has:

The furniture is fairly new. The room is cleaned every other day, but the schedule can be discussed with the maids. Towels are changed daily. The speed is very good, enough for watching movies. Also on many beaches there is free Wi-Fi, which can be used for 1 hour. This is enough for tourists to call home via Skype.

There is no water in the room, so vacationers buy canisters of water. There is a table with chairs on the balcony. Four rooms have large terraces. Washing supplies are replenished regularly. The interiors are quite modern, the plumbing is also praised. The adapter can be taken on bail at the reception, they also give the remote control for the air conditioner.

Nutrition

If a family comes with children, they will always have something to feed them for breakfast. The menu matches the establishment with so many stars. In the morning they usually serve:

Children will enjoy several types of delicious ice cream served in the evenings, as well as cakes, sweet rolls and jellies.

At dinner, drinks are chargeable, including water and juice, tea, coffee and wine are also served. For a schedule with 0.5 liters of wine, you will be asked to pay about 4.5 euros, so many people prefer to buy it in the nearest store, where 1 liter costs 1.5 euros.

Entertainment and animation

The complex is focused on a relaxing holiday, so entertainment here is not well thought out. Musicians play by the pool in the evenings. There is usually only one animator, he arranges funny contests. Many guests spend their free time near the pool, but there are not always enough sun loungers for everyone. There are no slides in the children's pool, but this small drawback is compensated by the fact that there is a Luna Park not far from the resort.

For lovers active rest a fitness center is provided. There is also a heated indoor pool for swimming in cold weather. Football teams sometimes stop at the hotel.

Beach

Families with children who decide to stay here need to think about which beaches to swim on. The closest access to the sea (3 minutes walk) leads to a rocky coast, where not all adults dare to swim. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the sandy beaches to the right and left of the hotel. With small children it will be difficult, so it is better to use transport.

There is a bus to the famous Nissi Beach, about half an hour walk to it. By bus - no more than 10 minutes. Transport runs with a small interval, but it is better to find out the schedule. You can also order a taxi. On Nissi Beach, the shower is paid, you also have to pay for umbrellas and sun loungers. Beach towels can be borrowed from reception for a deposit of 10 euros.

You will not be accommodated in Anmaria during the season, you can not even book there, this is a useless option. We bought a tour, for the first time I bought through onlinetours, but everything went perfectly, they even advised me to download Maps.me offline maps, which were very useful on the trip.
The only thing is, for some reason, a visa was issued to a girl, and the gender was set to male, but with passport control it didn't become a problem. Flight, transfer everything went fine, but with the check-in at the hotel - this is really a problem that took the whole evening. We arrived at the hotel at 9 pm, we go to the reception, and they tell us: Sorry, we are appologize, hotel is full and we will put you in the neighboring Freij hotel and give you free Wi-Fi, a refrigerator, a safe. Okay, no problem, walk to it for 1 minute, check in. And then some kind of horror begins, first they put us in a room where someone already lives ahahahhaha, then they give us a dirty room, the floors are in the sand, there is a huge worn stain above the bed, bamboo sticks instead of a mirror, no kettle, no hair dryer, wai- free WiFi doesn’t work there (sorry, the maximum number of users exceeded), well, okay, we didn’t come to sit in the room, it doesn’t matter, but there is no hot water in the room! From the word at all! I go to anmaria and talk about all the problems, that ok, even the room is dirty, but there is no hot water, it’s just some kind of horror, I have to heat pots on vacation, and what to heat, there’s not even a kettle hahahaha, I say that I I’m even ready to pay extra, if only you moved us to another room, to which I hear for 20 minutes in a row: sorry, we are appologize, room service not work now, come back tommorow and it’s useless to talk to them, no matter how you react, this phrase you will repeat endlessly. Excellent quarter… Disgusting attitude, the staff does not try to help you, they don't care, you paid, get what you have. I understand overbooking, I paid for this night, why should I live in such a room and I am not offered a solution to the problem. Okay, we go to the reception in Freij, swear again for 20 minutes and say that we will not leave until we give you a normal room, and voila, there is a normal room with hot water and all interior items, a clean room.
Without knowledge of English, dialogue with hotel representatives will not work, I had no problems with this, but most often Russian tourists faced this problem. The story is that they sell more rooms than they have and settle in other hotels. If you take all inclusive, you are settled in Freij, since only Anmaria has all inclusive and hotels nearby and you go there, and if not, then most likely they will send you to another hotel. There were people in front of us in the queue for check-in, they were sent by taxi to another hotel closer to the center.
There were no complaints about the hotel, after they changed the room, they cleaned it every day, the food was normal. We went to the pool in both Anmaria and Freij. Cyprus is cool, beautiful, the beach is 7 minutes somewhere on foot with a blue flag towards nissi. Pretty clean.
Natalie from the reception complains that Russian tourists are screaming at her, but this is natural, they paid money and want to relax with the level of service they ordered, because no one told them that they would be placed in another hotel or in a dirty room with no hot water water.
Onlinetours make a note on this hotel that they have overbooking and they do not always accommodate you in the hotel that is booked, perhaps this will help tourists when choosing a tour. I put a subjective rating of 5 out of 10 for a spoiled first day.

We went with my 14-year-old daughter to unwind, take a break from winter for 5 nights. On the 2nd floor, where our room was, in the corridor, the carpets are probably 30 years old, probably) But everything in the room is modern, clean, beautiful. We took breakfast and dinner. I am not used to eating in the morning, a cup of coffee is my breakfast. So I approached, explained that I had breakfast after 10, and they began to give me a lunch box. My daughter and I put fruits, croissants and other snacks in it. And they all had a wonderful lunch. The choice is normal. And breakfast and dinner - a lot of hot dishes, side dishes, fruits, vegetables always, desserts. For dinner, drinks are paid - a bottle of water 1.5dol, a glass of juice 2dol, wine, a glass of beer 2dol. For breakfast, tea, coffee, juices - free of charge, as much as you want. The staff is very friendly. Special thanks to Natalie at the reception! Always helped with everything. From the heart! Cleaning is also top notch. Towels were changed every day and the room was cleaned. Beach. He is not. Stones. We never even went there .. We always went to the beaches along the promenade to the right, a couple of times to Nissi Beach (beauty!!! delight!!!). I really liked the hotel. Excellent location to the sea. Own beach is not very good, but if you walk to the right, there are many wonderful beaches. My husband and I were in the off-season, so to speak - in February we escaped into the heat for 3 days. The hotel is excellent! Beautiful area! But we are comrades with sound sleep, and with the balcony closed, the sounds are almost inaudible. The hotel has a nice indoor swimming pool in winter, with a sauna and a gym. But the showers are dirty and cleaned poorly - a mountain of disposable empty tubes, hair. The food is very good; For dinner - a lot of vegetables, herbs, my favorite cheeses, the assortment included both meat and fish, turkey. lots of side dishes. Stayed at this hotel with my husband. They settled us very quickly, without any extra charge they gave a room with a view of the sea and the pool - very beautiful! Also, upon check-in, a surprise awaited us - a plate of fruit and a bottle of wine. We celebrated our arrival with these delicious treats. The bed linen and towels are white, the furniture is a little old, but it's not so terrible, air conditioning, a TV with two Russian channels, a wardrobe with a lot of hangers. There is a refrigerator, safe (extra charge). I do not advise drinking water from the tap - it is completely unsuitable for this. Take an adapter for sockets. The territory of the hotel cannot be called large, but at the same time it is very well-groomed. Lots of greenery everywhere. There is a large pool for adults and a nice, compact one for kids. The staff is very friendly, which could not but rejoice. Animation as such was not seen in the hotel, but we did not really need it - in the evenings we walked in the center. The sea is very close, but the entrance here is inconvenient - a lot of stones. It is better to walk or drive to another beach. A definite plus of the hotel is its location. Anmaria is located in the city center, everything is at arm's length: rides, bars, restaurants, cafes and so on. The food is also very decent. We took breakfast and dinner. We ended up in Anmaria in Ayia Napa with a friend by pure chance. We went to another hotel, but there were no free places, we had to look for a replacement. In general, only on the third attempt did we manage to find something. The hotel is simply ATAS! Yes, the renovation in the room is not the first freshness, but everything is in order, the TV works, there are Russian channels. At the end of the holiday we found out that on the lowest floor of the hotel there is a swimming pool, gym, sauna. The food is very good, fruits, wine, everything is fine. Ol inclusive fully justified itself. They cleaned very well, and we got a room overlooking the pool and the sea at the same time - I highly recommend it. In the evenings, we rested wherever possible - strip clubs, karaoke bars, discos ... Everything was very cool! We didn’t go on excursions, we didn’t climb mountains, but even without this we had a great rest. We visited Cyprus for the third time and, I think, not the last - it's very cool here. The main thing is to take more money with you, and do not deny yourself anything. The hotel is good, I advise everyone! If I get a chance, I will come back here again.

We got to the Anmaria Hotel with friends in May 2015 on the advice of a tour operator. If Ayia Napa itself is a party resort, then the hotel is its complete opposite: quiet, calm, away from the hustle and bustle. Basically, it suited us. The beach is very close, 1 line, but it is not equipped. When entering the water, there are large stones, you can’t do without special shoes. If you have time and desire, it is better to walk 20 minutes to another beach, there is a good entrance. The food is just wonderful. We had breakfasts and dinners. Very tasty meat, fish, every day a large assortment of fruits, ice cream. Staff attitude is very good. We liked everything!
