Arina is the main passenger. Main Passenger

When adults die through someone else's fault, this is a terrible tragedy. If children die for the same reason, then this is doubly a tragedy!

The tragic story of a family

A girl at the age of ten months from Leningrad region together with her parents flew to Egypt at sea. In her father's arms, she swayed on the Mediterranean waves, soaked up the sun.

Darina Gromova is the main passenger of the tragic flight. Photo from her mom's social media page.

While returning home, the girl died in a plane crash along with her father and mother and other passengers of the aircraft. There were no less than Darina on that flight among almost three dozen children. Her parents Alexey and Tatyana Gromov worked in the same thriving company. It was a good young family.

At Pulkovo Airport, a mother took a picture of her daughter looking at planes through the terminal window. and posted the photo on in social networks titled: "Main Passenger". Now this picture of Darina Gromova, still alive, has spread all over the world.

On the Internet, Darina is called the main passenger of the tragic flight. The grandmother of the little girl, as she felt trouble, asked the children to leave her granddaughter with her. But they didn't listen.

How did it happen?

On October 31, 2015, an Airbus A321-231 of a Siberian airline crashed over the Sinai Peninsula. He was chartered travel company"Briscoe" on the international charter flight 7K-9268 "St. Petersburg - Sharm el-Sheikh - St. Petersburg". On it, tourists returning home from Egypt, vacationing on the Mediterranean coast.

Within twenty minutes, the autopilot lifted the liner to a height of ten kilometers. From there, he immediately began to fall vertically at a frantic speed - 1.8 km / minute. That is, it took 5.5 minutes to fall to the ground. During this time, the pilots requested a landing. But the runway was over 50 kilometers away.

There were reports online that there had been an explosion in the tail of the aircraft. They even called the name of the person who brought the explosives on board and placed them in the "tail" of the liner. This was later confirmed by the layout of the remains of the liner. The disaster claimed the lives of 224 people (including the entire crew). Initially, there were several versions, in particular, a technical problem or a human factor. The main version was a terrorist act.

The ISIS group, an organization banned in Russia, recorded it on its own bloody account. As always in such cases, the perpetrators were not punished. The Kremlin assured that those involved in the death of the passengers of the plane will be searched indefinitely and those responsible will be punished.

This is the biggest crash of Russian passenger aircraft. There was no such tragedy in the history of Egypt, nor in this series of Airbus. Flights to this African country from the Russian Federation were stopped for a long time, which hit Egypt's tourism hard. Flights have recently resumed after the Russian side was convinced of the safety of local air terminals. Such work is still being done.

Terror attack or technical malfunction?

The Egyptians stubbornly do not recognize the cause of the disaster as a terrorist attack. The transport ministry of this country assured that the final conclusions would be made quickly. But in the conclusions, as before, there are no words about the terrorist attack. So trust them!

Yesterday in Egypt, when a plane of the Kogalym Avia (MetroJet) company crashed, 224 of our compatriots died ... Approximately one in ten of them is a child ... The youngest girl, Darina, was only 10 months old ... Before the flight, posting this photo to the network, young parents called her "the main passenger."

I watch the news while abroad on the Russia Today channel. Tears well up in my eyes and I can't help but take it to heart... My daughter turned 10 months old in 2014 when the whole family and her four-year-old brother went to travel in asia. In three months, my children and I made 6 flights. Some flights lasted about 10 hours, some - less than an hour. And we also considered her "the main passenger." On each flight, our daughter was the smallest ...

Someone on this fateful trip to Egypt was abroad for the first time, someone proposed to his beloved, someone flew with the whole family with three children. All these children had their whole lives ahead of them and they could see the whole world. But their journey ended in the skies over Egypt.

It is especially scary to realize that the crash did not occur during takeoff or landing, not in a few seconds, as is usually the case ... The plane fell from a height of 10 kilometers. How did the children and parents of these children feel? I dont know. Just woke up my son and daughter, who is now two years old. She sits on my lap, and our third five-month-old baby sleeps in my wife's arms. And I'm scared to even think about how the passengers of the ill-fated Flight 9268 felt when their plane crashed.

My wife is very afraid of flying, but wanderlust is stronger! For us, the 24 countries we have visited are not the end, but only the beginning.

And you yourself seem to understand that after this event you will not stop traveling. Reason suggests that many times more likely to die without traveling at all - in your own car, minibus, on a bicycle or on a pedestrian crossing ...

But you sit with your daughter on your knees, look at the photo of a ten-month-old girl on the monitor and tears well up in your eyes.

Our sincere condolences to the families and friends of all those who did not return home. Hold on, no matter how hard it gets! The rest are very willing to wish ... Love each other every second of your life, not paying attention to various minor troubles! And keep traveling no matter what!

P.S. Disturbing and another mixed feeling of anger and misunderstanding. Literally three days before that, a very worthy airline, Transaero, finally ceased to exist in Russia. In 2015, Transaero was the safest air carrier in Russia and 17th in this indicator in the world ... And while the bankruptcy of Transaero is more like a raider takeover by its main competitor Aeroflot, we all have to fly on the rising Aeroflot or cheap "charters" like "KogalymAvia"? Although, the cause of the disaster has yet to be clarified ... Again, speaking of the pros independent travel... When you travel alone, you choose the airline. Most tour operators send tourists on cheap "charters" in order to save money.

P.S. We came across a poem for this photo in the social network. The author, unfortunately, is not signed (if anyone knows, write in the comments). Dedicated to Darina Gromova:

Darina Gromova, "main passenger": the body of a 10-month-old girl was found by rescuers

Rescuers found the body of the youngest passenger. It turned out to be 10-month-old Darina Gromova, whom her mother called the "main passenger" of the plane.

Rescuers also managed to find the bodies of the girl's parents - Alexei and Tatiana Gromov. The couple got married just a year ago, and this holiday in Egypt was the first trip together for their family.

Before flying to Sharm el-Sheikh two intkbbee A few weeks ago, Tatyana posted on her Instagram a photo of little Darina watching the planes at Pulkovo.

“The main passenger,” the young mother affectionately signed the picture, not suspecting that this particular photo would become a sad symbol of the terrible tragedy that occurred in the sky over Sinai.

Media: Darina Gromova's grandmother did not want to let the baby go to Egypt

The discovery of the bodies of the Gromov family is reported by journalists of the LifeNews TV channel. In a conversation with the staff of the publication, Darina's heartbroken grandmother said that she did not want to let the girl go to Egypt and was worried about how the baby would endure the flight. She also suggested that Alexei and Tatyana Gromov leave their 10-month-old granddaughter with her for the duration of the trip, but they refused.

It should be noted that the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia from the very morning of November 2, 2015 will continue active searches at the crash site of the plane with the Russians in Egypt. According to TASS with reference to the Acting Head of the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Alexei Smirnov, at present the exploration area is more than 20 square kilometers. Due to the fact that the aircraft, according to reports, began to fall apart while still in the air, the bodies of its passengers were scattered at a great distance from each other and from the main crash site.

Recall that . The crew of the liner stopped communicating shortly after departure. According to some information, the plane dropped sharply by 1.5 kilometers, after which it disappeared from the radar screens. Before the connection was lost, the pilot requested permission to land at Cairo airport.

On board the crashed A321 were 224 people - seven crew members and 217 passengers. The plane crash became the largest in the history of Russian and Soviet aviation.

For the first time in two years, Elena Alekseevna Gromova, the grandmother of the “main passenger,” decided to give an interview. After the tragedy, she did not find the strength to go to work and retired. The only thing that now distracts from those memories is social activities and waiting for the results of the investigation.

We met at the Museum for Friends cafe in Pushkin. Literally across the road in the shade of trees stands the Tsarskoye Selo Gymnasium, where Alexei Gromov graduated from the middle classes.

WILL NOT BE IN THE PAST

My husband is a military pilot, a retired aviation colonel, - Elena Gromova tells the story of the family. We often had to move from place to place. The children were born in the garrisons. Alexey was born in the Far East.

In 1997, when her husband's service came to an end, they transferred to Pushkin. When Lesha graduated from the ninth grade, we moved to Gatchina - they gave us an apartment there.

So Aleksey graduated from the 10th-11th grades already there, at a school with a physical and mathematical bias. Studying was easy for my son, he did not need to be controlled. He knew what he needed. And in the 11th grade, Aleksey had already made his choice: he enrolled in Voenmekh for courses. He chose the Faculty of Information Systems and Technologies. The competition was crazy, but he passed the physics, mathematics with excellent marks. He got ten points out of ten. And Lesha graduated from school as a student. It was such a joy - he fulfilled his dream. The strongest university, and even budget education.

Here he is, our Lesha. If he has a goal, he achieves it. He does not see any obstacles in front of him. Protective, open. All of our friends adored him.

I don’t want to talk about him “was”, he will not be in the past as long as we are.

LOVE AFFAIR AT WORK

Alexei Gromov was only 27 years old. Daughter-in-law Tatyana would have turned the same on December 9. It was a beautiful office romance. The couple met at work in 2012. A native of Togliatti, Tatyana worked for a large company in St. Petersburg - she organized forums and conferences. Alexey worked in the IT department.

Tanya was a very talented, purposeful, creative girl. She graduated from INGECON, spoke foreign languages, they say about such people: talent is talent in everything. Previously, she was engaged in gymnastics, sewing, embroidering, drawing. Gushed with energy. So many thoughts, so many ideas in my head. Everything she undertook came easy to her. Kind girl. They looked very natural and organic with Lesha, - says Elena Gromova. “I remember the first time he brought her home. They came in with smiles on their faces. It was obvious: yes, this is love. It's like the puzzles fit together. This rarely happens.

They got married in August 2014. Alexey made a proposal to his beloved in the sky. Especially for this rented a plane with an instructor.

Soon after the wedding, Tanya and Lesha had a daughter, the couple was waiting for her very much.

Mom called Darina a princess. Parents doted on their daughter and dreamed of a second child.

The baby won a prize at one of the children's competitions "How I spent the summer." It was her first prize: a diploma, a bouquet ... We all went together to receive this gift, - says Elena Gromova. - Darina is a charming, smart, mischievous, inquisitive girl. Everyone's favorite.

Before the flight to Sharm el-Sheikh, the mother took a picture of the baby in Pulkovo and signed: "the main passenger." So Darina became an unspoken symbol of the tragedy - the most important, smallest passenger of flight 9268. When the tragedy happened, the baby was only ten months old.

NO ONE COULD ACCEPT THIS

I remember the events of October 31 like yesterday. This is such a pain - pain of a universal scale. I lost half of my family, - says Elena Gromova. - Nobody could accept it. All family friends took it too close. One almost committed suicide, the other ended up in intensive care ...

In the evening before the flight from Egypt, Lesha called. You could hear in his voice that he was happy, - Elena Gromova recalls. - He said that Darishka liked everything very much. That's it, I'll tell you tomorrow. And confirmed the arrival time.

Lesha's parents left for the airport in advance. On the way we stopped at a grocery store - we had to feed the travelers from the road.

I usually get up in the morning, turn on the TV, go online. And that morning we did none of that. That was the strange thing about this day. Although by that time everything was already known ... We didn’t see them for two weeks, we missed them. So there was only one plan for the day: to meet the children, - Elena Gromova sighs heavily. - We left early to go to the store. It was necessary to bring them in, help with lunch, so that after the holidays they would not be loaded, they would rest from the road.

And when we were driving to Pulkovo, my eldest son called my husband. And Lesha's friends told him ... Then the husband hardly kept the steering wheel, military restraint, probably, helped. But still we went with the hope that this is nonsense.

When we arrived at the airport, there weren't many people there. And this red line on the scoreboard that the flight was delayed ... And in the information desk they said that there was no information. For an explanation, we were offered to drive from Pulkovo to the hotel. There were some people there, there were psychologists, but there was no need for them at that time.

I don't know how to explain my condition. We were on the ashes. Some kind of surreality, as if all this did not happen to us. It was just a shock. And now the shock has passed, only pain remains.

We went through all the horror of the hell that our children had to experience. We went to the identification. We saw them in the morgue.

HEAVEN DOES NOT FORGIVE

You know, I think that heaven has not forgiven us. Lesha was also a reserve officer, and after Voenmekh he wanted to fly to Kamchatka, Elena Gromova admits. - But I didn't. Wish he was around...

But the parents tried to dissuade the young from vacationing in Egypt.

Lyosha, in the same place Syria. Go to Cyprus, - advised the head of the family. But in Egypt, the sea seemed warmer and the sun brighter. The child wanted to be happy. When they flew away, strange things happened to my father: either he lost the key, or for no reason he fell ill with a fever for two days.

The last family meeting of the male half was in September of that year. The boys and their husband went mushroom picking and fishing. Then my husband told me that he felt something ... Lyosha then hugged him and said: “Dad, just don’t get old! We will do this with you."

Lesha had good prospects: upon returning from vacation, an order for a promotion was waiting for him at work.

Our son was brought up in the spirit of statehood. Reserve officer. He studied at the budget department. It is very painful and insulting when the country loses such people. And the state is obliged to make sure that the crime is still solved. Let it take some time, but this is a crime without a statute of limitations.

REFERENCE

The Gromovs occupied the 9th row, places D, E, F. Rescuers managed to find a 10-month-old baby only a few days after the plane crash. She was brought on the second side - with those who could at least somehow be identified without the help of DNA. The bodies of Lesha and Tanya were delivered much later. The whole family was buried a day to forty days after the crash of the liner.
