Ski resorts of Altai: photos and reviews of tourists. Altai ski resorts New ski resort in Altai

The ski resorts of Altai are famous for the fact that the season here lasts almost from November until mid-April. And it should also be taken into account that the winters here are rather mild, since the temperate continental climate that prevails here does not allow freezing frosts to roam at all. Literally all the ski resorts of the Altai Territory are extremely comfortable and completely safe. All tracks here, divided into categories of difficulty, are equipped in accordance with the most stringent European standards.

Perhaps the most popular complex in the Altai Territory is Turquoise Katun. The tracks here have different categories of difficulty. By the beginning of the descent, adult athletes are delivered on drag lifts, and children - on a special baby lift. Beginners, under the guidance of experienced instructors, ride training tracks, for amateur athletes there are tracks of medium difficulty, but for professionals there is a 900-meter black track with a very difficult terrain.

There is also a special track for snowtubing, and freeriders prefer extreme skiing on slopes devoid of any trails. All slopes are maintained in excellent condition thanks to special processing by snowcats. In the evening, some of the slopes in the resort have artificial lighting.

The infrastructure of the complex deserves all praise - equipment rental, including snowboards and snowtubes, car parking, a hotel complex, a cozy cafe, an extreme amusement park and even an open-air museum - "Crossroads of the Worlds". Those who wish can go on an excursion tour to the Tavdinsky caves.

The Avalman ski complex is located directly in the vicinity of the city of Barnaul on the coast of the Ob River. The network of ski slopes in the resort is built in such a way that they are all interconnected. But in terms of difficulty, these routes have differences. There are slopes for both beginner skiers and well-trained and generally professional athletes. There are also special slopes designed for different types of sleds, a new snowboard park has been built and there is even a special slope for children.

In the evening, the tracks are illuminated, and artificial snow is periodically carried out. On these slopes you can ski not only on skis, but also on snowboards and even turntables. With the help of snowcats, the snow cover is regularly processed. This allows the tracks to be in excellent condition throughout the season. Adult athletes are lifted to the top by ski lifts, and children are lifted by a baby lift.

This ski resort has a whole staff of coaches and instructors who help beginners learn the basics, train athletes at the Olympic Reserve School, and young talents from the age of four are trained at the Alpine Skiing children's school. The infrastructure here is simply wonderful - the Avalman Hotel built in the Alpine style with free Wi-Fi in the rooms, cafes, rental shops, an ice rink and picnic pavilions.

Perhaps the largest and most extensive ski resort in Altai is Blagodat in the city of Belokurikha. In fact, it is considered the center of ski tourism and sports throughout Altai. All significant sports competitions for the championship of Russia are held here. It hosts the Spartakiad of Siberia, competitions for the Cup of Russia and Children's All-Russian competitions. To the starting point - the slope can only be reached by chair lift.

The ski complex "Blagodat" consists of several slopes, each of which has its own unique name. One of the slopes - "Church" differs from the others in that a cozy cafe is located right on top of the mountain. Since this route has a significant vertical drop (550 meters), it is classified as a difficult (red) routes. That is, in principle, it is designed for professionals.

The Grace slope with a smaller elevation difference (330 meters) is indented by the most popular track, which stretches as far as 1350 meters. This track is also considered red, but most beginner skiers can conquer it. Next to the highway there are two parking lots, the Blagodat hotel, the restaurant of the same name and the Chadyr cafe-bar.

One of the slopes of Belokurikha was given the name "Katun". At one time, the natural relief was leveled here, the width of the slope was increased to 35 meters, a paired drag lift was equipped and trial artificial snowmaking was carried out. After this experiment ended quite successfully, now the slopes of the ski complex are constantly covered with snow. The track here has a blue category, the height difference is only 185 meters, and the length is 850 meters. Perfect for those who are afraid of excessive steepness of the slopes.

You will find an even smaller height difference on the Altai-West slope - only 146 meters. And its length is 830 meters. The track here is not difficult, it is classified as a children's track, it is well lit in the evenings. Near the slope there is a sanatorium of the same name.

And one more slope - "Northern". A 900-meter track with a height difference of 175 meters is equipped here. Nearby are boarding houses - "Northern Lights" and "Sunny Hill". Here you can ride on standard tracks and powder. At the foot of the slope is a cozy cafe.

Strictly speaking, the Sheregesh resort does not belong to the ski resorts of the Altai Territory, it is already a region of Kuzbass, since it is located in the Kemerovo region. The resort is located five kilometers from the village of Sheregesh on the slopes of the Mountain Shoria mountain range. The size of this array is comparable to the area of the state of Belgium. The ski season here has the same duration as in the Altai resorts - from mid-November to the end of April, but it can be cooler here.

The Sheregesh resort has a large number of trails of varying difficulty. And there are 15 of them, with a total length of about 20 kilometers. There are trails for both beginners and super professionals. The elevation difference on the tracks ranges from 300 to 630 meters, and the length of the slopes themselves ranges from 500 to 3900 meters. According to the degree of difficulty, the tracks are divided into four categories - from the easiest (green) to the most difficult (black).

The resort has a well-developed infrastructure - 30 modern hotels, restaurants, shops, cafes, nightclubs, saunas, baths, bowling. There is the possibility of snowmobiling in the surroundings. The resort also has a professional mountain rescue service.

Altai is a unique corner of nature. The Altai Mountains are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List by UNESCO.

The variety of landscapes that are inherent in the Altai Mountains annually attracts tourists from all over Russia and from other countries of the world. The temperate continental climate with mild long winters has led to the development of infrastructures for winter sports.

most popular Altai ski resort recognized Belokurikha. The resort is located in the spurs of the Cherginsky Range, in the valley of the Belokurikha River at an altitude of 240 - 250 meters above sea level. The southern part of the city is bordered by rather high mountains. They are covered with lush evergreen coniferous vegetation, and the peaks are crowned with bizarre granite rocks.

Trails of Belokurikha- an ideal place for those who are just planning to get acquainted with skiing or snowboarding, as well as for experienced athletes who want to improve their skills.

Every year on the opening day of the season, as part of the regional holiday "Altai wintering" at the ski resort "Blagodat", which is located within walking distance from the sanatorium "Altai-West", a "Snowball" is held: fun competitions from the host, performances by creative teams of the Altai Territory , a traditional mass arrival of ski instructors.

However, it will take a few sessions to learn how to parallel ski and make tight turns.

If your dream is to rush along the mountain slopes, enjoying speed and gliding, come to the ski school in the resort town of Belokurikha, located on the territory of the Blagodat ski complex! Altai

Everything is provided in the resorts of Altai

The pride and pearl of Siberia is nothing but Altai. This unique corner of nature combines the beauty of the Alps and Tibet. All tourists admire the incredible beauty and comfort with which they are met by the ski resorts of Altai. It is no coincidence, perhaps, that the locals translate the name of their city as “golden mountains”. The Altai Territory has always been, is and will be of interest to residents of all countries and cities as a tourist corner. Almost every year it is visited by residents of more than 60 countries of the world.

Why are the winter resorts of Altai so famous that everyone loves and appreciates it so much? Climbers and skiers love it for its snowy mountains; historians and geographers find in it an inexhaustible amount of minerals, many interesting ethnological and archaeological monuments; hunters appreciate it for its magnificent forests, which are inhabited by marals, bears, foxes, elks, capercaillie and wild boars. There are several resorts in Altai where you can try the action of springs with therapeutic mud and radon waters.

What attracts tourists?

Tourists are also attracted by the variety of landscapes that are inherent in Altai. These are forest, forest-steppe and steppe plains, as well as mountains. The climate also pleases everyone. It is temperate continental here, with warm summers and slightly frosty winters.

All tracks for skiing enthusiasts are made according to European standards, which adds comfort and safety. Moreover, the tracks in different resorts and bases have different lengths. This says, first of all, that both an amateur and a professional will find the right slope for themselves, find what to do and how to have a good rest.

Some resorts host annual international competitions. One of these is the festival of outdoor enthusiasts "Snowball", where participants demonstrate their skills in snowboarding and skiing.
