"Magistral" on vacation: Hiking "Journey to Christmas"

Part of the main routes of the reformed route network ground transport in the center of Moscow "Magistral" from December 29, 2017 to January 3, 2018 will work according to a special scheme. For mass events, sections of Tverskaya Street, Varvarka Street, Teatralny Proyezd, and Okhotny Ryad are blocked. Part of the bus routes "Magistrali" will be shortened, and some of them will be combined with each other. As a result, temporary direct connections are formed, which are absent in normal times - Kutuzovsky Prospekt with Luzhniki and Leninsky Prospekt.

Due to the Journey to Christmas Festival, from December 29, 2017 to January 3, 2018, surface public transport routes in the city center are changing.

  • bus route "BUT" from the side of the Luzhniki stadium it is shortened to the Kropotkinskaya metro station, traffic to Komsomolskaya Square is canceled;
  • bus route No. m1 No. m27 "m1+m27") - from Kravchenko Street to the Lenin Library metro station, it follows the same route, then instead of the MPS Hospital it goes along Vozdvizhenka and Novy Arbat streets and Kutuzovsky Prospekt to the Park Pobedy metro station;
  • bus route No. m2 temporarily merged with a route segment No. m3(will work with the notation "m2+m3") - from the stop "Fili" to the metro station "Library named after Lenin" follows its own route, then along the route No. m3 to the stadium "Luzhniki";
  • bus route No. m3 No. m3"Semenovskaya metro station - Lubyanka metro station" and "m2+m3""Luzhniki Stadium - Fili";
  • bus route No. m27 split into two routes: No. m27"Karacharovsky overpass - metro station" Lubyanka "" and "m1+m27""Park Pobedy" metro station - st. Kravchenko";
  • bus route № 15 from the side of VDNKh (south) is shortened to Strastnoy boulevard instead of the Luzhniki stadium.
  • bus route No. m6 when going to the Nagatinskaya metro station on the section from Nikitsky Gates to Borovitskaya Square. instead of B. Nikitskaya st. and Mokhovaya st. heading along Nikitsky Boulevard. and st. Znamenka; back on the site from the metro station "Biblioteka im. Lenin" to the metro station "Barrikadnaya" instead of part of Mokhovaya st. and B. Nikitskaya st. heading down st. Vozdvizhenka, Novy Arbat and Novinsky Boulevard. to Borovitskaya Square, then on your own route;
  • bus route No. m10 from Lobnenskaya Street, instead of the Kitai-Gorod metro station, it will go to the Mayakovskaya metro station with a U-turn through the Armory lane. and Sadovaya-Triumfalnaya st.
  • bus route № 101 from the side of the Palace of Sports, Megasport is shortened to Tverskaya Zastava instead of the Kitai-Gorod metro station;
  • bus route № 144 from the subway Teply Stan» is shortened to the Udarnik cinema instead of the Kitay-Gorod metro station;
  • bus route № 904 from the 4th microdistrict, Mitina is shortened to Tverskaya Zastava instead of the Kitai-Gorod metro station (follows the route No. 904k).

Five nights in a row, starting from the night of December 29 to 30 and ending on the night of January 2 to 3, night bus routes change:

  • No. H1– will work on two sites: “Ozernaya st. - cinema "Udarnik" and "Sheremetyevo Airport - Tverskaya Zastava";
  • No. H2- from the side of Belovezhskaya Street, it is shortened to the Lenin Library metro station instead of the Kitai-Gorod metro station with a U-turn through Znamenka, Mokhovaya and Vozdvizhenka streets.

It is not known what prevented (similar to the temporary merging of clippings of "trunk" routes) from directing the route No. H1 bypassing blocked areas, for example, along Garden Ring, leaving an inseparable connection between Leningradsky and Leninsky prospects.

  • No. m5- from the side of Nagorny Boulevard it is shortened to Balchug Street instead of the Lubyanka metro station;
  • № 38 - from the side of the Rizhsky railway station, it is shortened to the Trubnaya metro station instead of the Kitai-Gorod metro station;
  • № 158 - from the side of the 3rd Paveletsky passage, it is shortened to Balchug street instead of the Lubyanka metro station.

Note that the route № 158 works for the first time on New Year's Eve. Flights of the route were scheduled last year № 632 , and before that they extended the mode of operation of the route № 13 - all of them serve the area of Paveletsky passages. But instead of bypassing the blocked section of Varvarka Street along B. Ustyinsky Bridge and Solyanka Street, the transport workers chose a simple shortening of the route to an unpopular stop.

Last year, traffic in the city center was blocked for festivities only from 19-20 pm on December 31 until the morning of January 1, so the changes in the routes of the "Magistrali" were much more short-lived.

On the "trees" - by bus

From December 22, 2017 to January 14, 2018, a special bus route has been organized to deliver spectators to New Year's performances at the Luzhniki Stadium "L""Metro "Sportivnaya" - GGTsKZ "Russia" with an intermediate stop "Circus of the Zapashny Brothers".

The route will operate during concert hours, providing delivery of the audience "there" and "back" at short intervals "according to filling":

  • December 22 and January 12 - from 17:00 to 22:00;
  • 23, 24, 29, 30 December, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 13 January - from 9:00 to 22:00;
  • 25, 26, 27, 28 December - from 13:00 to 22:00;
  • December 31 and January 14 - from 9:00 to 18:00;
  • January 1 - from 10:00 to 22:00.

Unlike the last few years, the route route has been changed. Boarding at the Sportivnaya metro station is carried out at the northern lobby on 10th Anniversary of October Street, since the southern one is closed for repairs until May 2018. Buses from the metro go along 10th Anniversary of October Street, Luzhnetsky Proyezd and Luzhniki Street, back - along Luzhniki Street , Novoluzhnetsky passage, side passage of Komsomolsky avenue, st. Khamovnichesky Val, st. Efremova, st. 10th anniversary of October.

There are no stops traditional for past seasons for boarding and disembarking at the Central Overpass from the side of the Luzhniki Stadium this year. Therefore, this year the route has become useless for passengers arriving in Luzhniki through the MCC station of the same name: the path from it to the bus stop near the metro is comparable to the distance to the venues of the performances.

In addition, from January 1, the procedure for entering buses will be changed - boarding will become possible at all doors, and the turnstiles will be turned off. Considering that some of them will work all New Year's Eve, the question remains, at what hour will boarding buses begin according to the new rules.
