The best places in the airbus a321 200. Airbus A321 Ural Airlines - cabin layout and best places

Turkish Airlines- the largest Turkish airline, which is part of the aviation association Star Aliance. The carrier has been repeatedly recognized the best airline Europe, from 2012 to 2015 The company was in the top ten in the world.

The main direction of transportation - international flights to Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Air Fleet The company consists of Airbus and Boeing aircraft. One of the common aircraft is the Airbus A321. Turkish Airlines has 56 such airliners.

Airbus A321 cabin layout of Turkish Airlines

Airbus industrie A321 is an improved version of the narrow-body A320 with two engines - the cabin is longer, which means more seats.

Airbus A321 Turkish Airlines

use two modifications of the aircraft cabin Airbus A321. They differ in the number of seats in business class and economy cabin. Let's consider them in more detail to determine best and worst places.

Option 1

In the first variant, the layout of the cabin consists of two classes of service: business and economy. In each of them there are more and less comfortable places. Consider the salons in more detail.

Business Class

In business class, there are three rows of three seats on both sides. However, the middle seat always remains free for the convenience of passengers; tickets for it are not sold. Plenty of space between chairs. There is a separate bathroom, next to the kitchen. If you are looking for places to comfortable flight with top-notch service, then this row is just the place for you.

Economy class

In the economy class, the seats are arranged according to the “3:3” pattern in a row, except for the 9th and 23rd rows - they do not have seats A, F. The toilet rooms that are intended for this class are located only at the end of the aircraft.

Economy class starts from 4 rows and ends at 34. The first row after the business class is separated from it by a partition. This causes some discomfort, because. there may be a sense of confinement. But on the other hand, more free legroom is allocated.

Seats located near emergency exits may not be occupied by all passengers. Cannot fly in these seats: children, pregnant women, the disabled and foreigners who do not speak Turkish or English. It is necessary to store luggage during the flight on a special shelf; it is forbidden to leave it near the aisle.

  • 34 row- the last in the cabin. Behind it are the toilets. This guarantees pandemonium, unpleasant smell and noise. And the backs of the seats are not movable. All this makes the 34th row the most inconvenient for travel.

Best Places

  • 1-3 rows - business class;
  • 9 row seats B, C, D, E;
  • 10 row - A and F;
  • 24 row.

Worst Places

  • 8 row;
  • 23 row seats B, C, D, E;
  • 34 row.

Option 2

Look for cheap tickets for any type of transport without leaving your home:

The second option for placing seats in the Airbus A321 airliner " Turkish Airlines» also includes 2 salons: business and economy.

Business Class

In this variation of the layout of the aircraft cabin seats in the business class, there are 5 rows, but there are 2 seats on each side, there is no free space between the seats, so passengers here feel more cramped than in the "business" option 1. In general, the salon has the same characteristics and privileges as option 1.

Economy class

This class starts from row 6 and continues up to row 32.

The layout of the cabin in the Airbus A321. Click to enlarge

6 row located immediately after the septum and in front of emergency exit. All this gives extra legroom, but also a feeling of an enclosed space, motionless seatbacks.

7 row similar to the 9th row of option 1, 8th row - 10th row.

20 and 21 rows similar to 23 and 24 rows of variation 1.

32 row- the last row. It has the same characteristics as the 34th row of the previous version.

Best Places

  • 1-5 rows - business class;
  • 7 row seats B, C, D, E;
  • 8 row - A, F;
  • 21 row.

Worst Places

  • 6 row;
  • 20 row seats B, C, D, E;
  • 32 row.

In order for the flight to be comfortable and leave only positive impressions, before buying tickets, you should familiarize yourself with the layout of the aircraft cabin and choose for yourself best places. Enjoy your flight on the Airbus A321 with Turkish Airlines!

Airline « Ural Airlines» owns 10 Airbus A321 aircraft (Airbus A321). Liners are far from new: from 1998 to 2006 of release. Aircraft tail numbers: VQ-BOF, VQ-BKJ, VQ-BKH, VQ-BKG, VQ-BDA, VQ-BOC, VQ-BCX, VQ-BOB, VQ-BOZ, VP-BVP.

Absolutely all liners were purchased from operating airlines, that is, already “used”. Former users include MyTravel, Cyprus Turkish Airlines (KTHY), Atlasjet, Aviation Capital Group (ACG), Solaris Airlines, Air Jamaica, Turkuaz Airlines, ILFC, Airworld, Flying Colors Airlines, Air Mediterranee and some others. Most of the aircraft, before being acquired by Ural Airlines, flew for at least three airlines.

All 10 aircraft have a single-class configuration with 220 economy class seats. Nordwind Airlines has a similar configuration (the plane will also accommodate 220 passengers). The cabin layout is available on the official website of Ural Airlines:

Let's try to study the scheme in more detail and highlight the best and worst places in the layout of this aircraft.
Row 1. These are good places. The front rows are always one of the best seats on an airplane. Although the distance to the partition is small (you can’t stretch your legs far), there is more space for your knees than in standard rows. Also a plus is the fact that no one will throw a chair on you. In conditions of close seating in economy class, this is a significant advantage. In addition, in the forefront there are practically no problems with air conditioning. What we will not say, for example, about the rows in the tail of the aircraft.
The disadvantages of the first row include the presence in the immediate vicinity of the kitchen and toilets. Extra movement and smells can somewhat spoil the impression of the flight. Also, a partition will loom in front of your eyes all the way.
Row 10. There are comments for this series. The backs of the seats here are limited in reclining, as there is an emergency exit behind. Not very comfortable to fly in one back position.
Row 11. The best seats on this plane are in front of the emergency exit. The front row seats are locked so they won't recline on you. There's also plenty of legroom, as the emergency exit increases the distance to the front row. There are only 4 seats in a row, so it is convenient to fly as a couple or a family of 4 people.
There are also disadvantages, although not significant. Some passengers note that it is a little colder here. Apparently from behind the emergency exit door. Also, for safety reasons, aisles in a row cannot be laid with hand luggage. Passengers with small children, the elderly, the disabled, pregnant women and passengers with animals will not be placed on the 11th row.
Row 12. Seats A and F. Due to the missing seats in the front row, there is a lot of legroom here. For the same reasons, no one will lean back on you.
However, pay attention. According to passenger reviews, some aircraft in the 11th row have additional seats A and F. In this case, these seats will no longer have all of the above advantages. Specify this moment at the front desk.
Row 25. For the same reasons as in the 10th row, the seat backs are locked and do not recline.
Row 26. good places for flight, have the same advantages as the 11th row. Only there are not four, but all six seats in a row. Seats A and F have characteristic disadvantages - there may be no armrests on the side of the aircraft wall. Also, those who like to stare out the window of the aircraft may be disappointed, since the window is either missing here or not located very conveniently.
Row 37 Seat D. The chair is extreme to the aisle, and due to the close location of the toilets, passengers will constantly touch you here.
Row 37 and 38. One of the worst places. The row rests against the wall of the toilet, so the backs of the seats are limited in reclining. There are always a lot of people, there are always queues and there is an unpleasant smell. Not infrequently in the last row there are problems with air conditioning - it is either stuffy or cold here.

Passenger aircraft are increasingly ceasing to be a luxury and becoming a popular and affordable mode of transport. The speed, convenience and increasing safety of liners open up broad prospects for regular air traffic.

The growing flow of passengers also increases the requirements for modern aircraft. The main attention is paid to the spaciousness, comfort and safety of the liner. Ideally, all these qualities should be combined with the relative cheapness of production and maintenance.

Exactly at this direction the A320 model and its subsequent modification A321 were developed. Despite the long period that has passed since its development, the model is still in demand for passenger traffic in many countries of the world.

The history of the development of the passenger aircraft Airbus A321

In 1988, the Airbus S.A.S consortium released a new model - the A320. The plane became the first mass passenger liner with electrical control system. The new model continued the line of narrow body aircraft started by the A300.

The main focus of the development was on savings in assembly and the variability of passenger seats. The task was to gain superiority over the main competitor - Boeing 727 and 737. Compared to them new model Airbus Industrie would have a digital advantage.

Despite the fact that the first aircraft was released in 1988, the A320 program has been officially operating since 1984. In addition to the fly-by-wire control system, there were other innovations:

  • for pilots, side control handles are provided instead of steering columns;
  • horizontal tail made entirely of composites.

The Airbus A321 model was put into mass production in 1994 specifically to increase passenger capacity. The new airliner has become the largest in this line: when divided into two classes, it can accommodate 170 people, in one - 220. Also, compared to the A320, the flight range is slightly increased.

The main production of aircraft of this line is concentrated in the European Union. Until 2008, the assembly was carried out only in Toulouse, later Hamburg-Finkenwerder was connected. Also, production is established in China. Many parts and spare parts are produced in Russia at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant.

Airbus A321 aircraft remain in demand for many airlines in the world, despite the design of 25 years ago. However, it is expected that in the coming years, these liners will begin to be phased out due to outdated characteristics compared to modern aircraft.

Tactical and technical characteristics

Airbus Industrie A321 models remain in demand thanks to technical specifications, which still competes with modern liners.

In terms of size and weight, this model has the following indicators:

  • length - 44.5 m;
  • height - 11.8 m;
  • wingspan - 34.1 m;
  • wing area - 122.4 m;
  • allowable takeoff weight - up to 93.5 tons;
  • acceptable landing weight - up to 77.8 tons;
  • empty aircraft weight - 48.1 tons;

Airbus A321 has two options for accommodating passengers - one class or two. In the first case of economy class, a capacity of 220 people is allowed. When divided into economy and business class, the aircraft capacity is 170 seats.

flight data

Flight characteristics of the Airbus A321:

  • flight range at maximum load - 5000-5500 km;
  • maximum speed - 890 km / h, cruising - 840;
  • allowable flight altitude - 11.9 km;
  • takeoff run - 2180 m;
  • run - 1580 m;
  • engines used - CFMI CFM56-5A/5B, 2 x 13600-15000 kgf; IAE V2500-A5, 2 x 13600-15000 kgf.

Modern Airbus A321 assemblies use French EFIS avionics systems. They are responsible for controlling the engines and ensure the regular operation of on-board electronics. This improves navigation and reduces the likelihood of off-course, which is especially important in difficult flight conditions and emergency situations.

Scheme of the cabin and location of seats

In the Airbus A321, the cabin layout has two seating options - with and without business class. The first option is used more often, despite the smaller capacity of the aircraft. For example, in Aeroflot A321 aircraft, the cabin layout is more often considered using its example.

The business class is located in front of the aircraft and occupies 16-28 double seats. The seats are more comfortable, the distance between the seats is increased, which gives legroom. More variety is provided in the choice of menu.

In the economy class, the seats are arranged according to the 3x3 scheme in two compartments. The chairs are soft and comfortable, although not so comfortable. The distance between them is approximately 80 cm. However, depending on the location, there are some nuances that you should be aware of when booking tickets.

Business Class

For business class, the first and seventh rows (if there are 28 seats) are considered an unsuccessful choice of seats. In the first place, close to the toilets and office space. In addition to the constant noise and movement, at night there is always a light on that makes it difficult to fall asleep.

The last row of business class is separated from the rest of the aircraft by a thin partition. Therefore, all the noise from the economy class will be heard, which will make the rest incomplete.

Economy class

The most attractive seats in economy class are located in the row following the business class. Located immediately behind the partition, they provide more legroom. Similar properties have places with missing seats in front: in the first diagram, these are 20A and 20F.

Seats in the 18th and 19th rows are considered less attractive. Proximity to the toilets does not allow you to fully relax due to constant movement. The worst option in this regard is the last row, where there are also service rooms next to the toilet.

Advantages and disadvantages of the aircraft

The advantages of the Airbus A321 include:

  • high flight performance, despite the design of 25 years ago;
  • high rates of carrying capacity and seats among medium-haul aircraft;
  • the cabin is spacious, which ensures a more comfortable flight;
  • high sound insulation provides passengers with rest during the flight.

The disadvantages of the A321 aircraft include its technical aging. Most design and digital solutions can no longer compete with modern liners. In the coming years, production is expected to be phased out in favor of the new Airbus A320neo series.

Aircraft safety

The design of the Airbus A321 contains 20% more composite materials. Such a decision increased the strength of the aircraft body, respectively, its safety in case of adverse weather conditions.

Another aspect that increases the safety of the liner is digital security. A computerized navigation and control system facilitates piloting in case of emergency. Similar questions are considered common to the entire A321 line.

However, during the operation was not without incident. Already in the early stages of the use of Airbus A321 aircraft, accidents were recorded. In 1988, an accident occurred that was attributed to pilot error. However, there is an opinion that it was the computerized control system that caused it.

The first accidents significantly reduced the attractiveness of new Airbus aircraft. Since the beginning of 2000, the number of incidents has increased - from minor malfunctions to major accidents. The crash of the A321 on October 31, 2015, when 224 people died, is considered the worst disaster.

Airbus A321 modifications

Airbus A321 liners have two modifications - A321-100 and A321-200. The first actually laid the foundation for the production of these liners. Its testing began in 1993, and later mass production began. The design uses CFM56 and V2500 engines.

In the modification of the A321-200, emphasis is placed on increasing the takeoff weight and flight range. Development began in 1994 as a direct competitor to the Boeing 757-200. Mass production started in 1996. Both versions are still in production today.

Serial production of the A321 continues, which means that new aircraft will enter service. However, with the advent of new analogues, it can be expected that production will gradually cease. This does not mean that the A321 aircraft will disappear as soon as production ceases. However, in the next couple of decades, we can expect their gradual decommissioning.

The Airbus 321 is the largest aircraft of the 320 family produced by the Airbus concern. The first flight was made in 1992. Aircraft production continues to this day. According to the latest information from the company, in 2018 it is planned to assemble up to 60 aircraft per month. In terms of its technical characteristics and maintenance, it differs little from the prototype - the 320th, but due to more powerful engines it is able to carry more passengers and luggage.

The aircraft is assembled for a specific order - the customer is offered only an economy class version with a capacity of 220 people or a business/economy class with a capacity of 185 people.

Story

The French company began to assemble the prototype of the 320th back in 1972. In the 90s, the 319th version first appeared, the main difference of which is the fuselage shortened by 7 meters. The remaining parameters repeat the 320th. The first "Airbus" received a fuselage 7 meters longer than the prototype and in 1992 had the shortest flight range among the entire 320 family. Then, with modernization, the aircraft received enhanced brakes, more powerful engines and an additional tank located in the tail section of the cabin. development was not planned, unlike plans for the 320, to compete with the Americans, but the introduction of the Boeing 757 forced the company to reconsider the release of the 321, and the current model, 321-200, is a worthy competitor to the 757 , slightly inferior in flight range, but having a more spacious fuselage.

The first customer for the aircraft of the new model was the German Lufthansa. Aircraft 321-100 flew into her hangars in early 1995. At the end of 1996, the first Airbus 321-200 took off.

Interior layouts by the customer

As already mentioned, the customer receives one of two layout options at the factory. However, that's not all. During operation, the customer can change the number of seats himself and thus re-equip the aircraft to carry more or fewer passengers. The documentation for the aircraft indicates how the cabin can be reconfigured. "Airbus 321" has a wide range of layouts. From economy class, where there will be 6 seats in a row, three on each side of the aisle, to business class, where 4 seats will already be installed in a row. It is also allowed to arrange in a wide frame. There are only two restrictions - in any layout, the aircraft will have 1 aisle with seats on both sides of the aisle. The second limitation is inherent in the design: at the end of the aircraft there will be only 2 seats, one on each side of the aisle, and 2 rows opposite the emergency doors also have 4 seats in any layout.

Selecting a seat on the plane

Even a short flight can be a burden if you sit down and find that the design of the liner does not recline the backs of your seats, or people constantly walk past you on their way to the bathroom. So there are a number of questions you should ask yourself before flying. For example, this: "Do you like to watch the flight?" If you like, you need to choose seats by the windows, bearing in mind that wings will be located opposite some, and all you will see is the movement of automation during takeoff, landing, changing direction.

Rows from 15th to 22nd in the Airbus 321 economy class have such a disadvantage. In addition, the 25th row, being located in front of the second emergency exit, does not have the ability to recline the chair. At the same time, these seats are considered ideal for traveling couples, since in this row, even in the economy, there are only 4 seats, 2 on each side of the aisle.

But if the plane flies at night, choosing a seat near the windows will not work, but being in the rows in front of emergency exits can deliver many unpleasant minutes due to locked backs. In addition to the 25th, the backs are also blocked in the 10th row, but, unlike the 25th, here the economy class includes 6 seats, three on each side of the aisle. The numbering is given for the economy class of the Airbus 321 aircraft. The best seats, other than those already mentioned, are in the 11th row - two seats on each side of the aisle, and there is an opportunity to stretch your legs. These places are located behind the first emergency exit. Passengers seated in row 26 will also be able to stretch their legs, with emergency exit number two in front of them. This is how the planes of the Ural Airlines company are assembled.

At the same time, the official website of Lufthansa states that in the 10th row, the 321st airliner has only 2 seats - on the right side. The left side of the row is free.

Plans and schemes

For a better understanding, here are a couple of aircraft diagrams in two use cases. The Poles fly only the economy class, the Germans use the planes both in the economy version and in the business/economy version.

This is how the Airbus 321 scheme (Poland) looks like, the cabin scheme is also suitable for illustrating Ural Airlines aircraft. The 321st company uses only in the economy version. The 11th and 26th rows are considered ideal. Seats at the windows in the 26th row, due to the emergency exit directly in front of them, may have some changes. Since there are only 4 seats in the 11th row, lovers of stretching their legs can also be advised to 12th row - two places at the windows.

But for comparison, the scheme of the airbus used by Lufthansa. The Germans use both economy and business/economy aircraft. However, only the first rows differ. The rest is as described above. The 10th row is shortened, due to which in the 11th row there are 4 places from the category of the best. And due to the lack of one seat in the 25th row, the person who bought the 27D seat will also get the opportunity to stretch their legs.

The Airbus A321 is the largest member of the Airbus narrow-body aircraft lineup. Narrow-body Airbus aircraft united in the so-called "Family A320", which also includes the A318, A319, A320 and the A321 itself. Recall that narrow-body aircraft are called aircraft in which there is only one longitudinal passage between the seats in the middle of the cabin.

The length of the A321 is 44.51 meters, with a full load, the flight range is 5950 km.

This model provides the lowest cost of a 1 km flight per passenger among narrow-body aircraft, in other words, due to low fuel consumption and large passenger capacity, a 1 km flight on the A321 costs one passenger less than on other narrow-body aircraft. The A321 is equipped with new wingtips, which Airbus calls Sharklets. We talked about them in detail in a previous article about the Airbus A320 aircraft. We only note that the new endings improve the aerodynamic characteristics of the wing, reducing fuel consumption and increasing the flight range.

Since 2015, it is planned to introduce new engine versions for the A320 Family. The use of new engines together with wingtips will reduce fuel consumption by up to 15 percent and increase the flight range by an additional 900 km or payload by 2 tons.

In a two-class configuration, the A321 aircraft can accommodate 185, and in a single-class cabin, up to 220 passengers. With the new A321neo, Airbus plans to increase passenger capacity through optimized use of the aircraft cabin. New layout changes will increase the number of passenger seats up to 240, while still maintaining comfortable seats with a width of 18 inches.

A321, like A320, has 4 doors (two on each side of the fuselage, in the nose and tail sections) and 4 emergency hatches (two on each side of the fuselage, in the middle part). But unlike the A320, the A321's escape hatches are not located side by side, but spaced a long distance away.

Seat plan for Airbus A321 Aeroflot

Business Class.

As you can see in the Aeroflot A321 cabin diagram, the first 7 rows are reserved for business class. There are 4 comfortable chairs in each row - two chairs on each side of the aisle. Although the A321 is a narrow-body aircraft, the cabin design allows for fairly wide seats.

Of the business class seats, special attention should be paid to the first row. Its peculiarity is that there is a partition directly in front of the first row, for some it is a plus, for some it is a minus. You just need to take into account that by choosing the first row you will have to admire the wall for the entire flight. But on the other hand, no one there will recline the back of the chair for you. The first row is a little closer to the toilet, but not so much that it caused some inconvenience.

The last row of the business class also has its own characteristics. Firstly, it is close to the noisier economy class, and secondly, there is a partition directly behind the last row of business class, and your seat may not recline completely.

Economy class

As you can see in the diagram, in the Aeroflot A321 cabin, toilets are located in three places: in the bow for business class, in the middle of the cabin and in the tail for economy class.

8th row. This is the first row of the economy class. The seats in this row are called superior seats and are among the best on the Airbus A321. They are located right after the escape hatches, due to which there is quite a lot of legroom in front of the 8th row seats. You will not interfere with a neighbor (or he you) when you want to get up. A slight disadvantage of these chairs is that the armrests are fixed, as folding tables are mounted in them. This feature is also found in other seats, which are located at a distance from the front row.

However, there are restrictions - in this row it is usually forbidden to sit passengers with children or pets, as well as passengers with handicapped and older passengers. Also, you can't put hand luggage at his feet, so as not to block the path to the emergency exit.

The two extreme places of the 8th row (A and F in the diagram) are also distinguished by the fact that due to the proximity to the emergency exit, it can be a little cold there, in the area of \u200b\u200bthe legs. However, you can always ask the flight attendants for a blanket.

9 - 17 rows. Seats in these rows are common. There are no special features. There is a general rule here - the closer to the nose of the aircraft, the earlier food and drinks are served and the richer the assortment will be. The closer to the end of the compartment, the closer to the toilet with all the ensuing consequences.

18th row. Close proximity to the toilet naturally has its drawbacks - queues for the restroom, possible smells, door sounds and water drains. In addition, behind the 18th row there is a wall of the toilet, which does not allow you to recline the back of the seats.

19th row. This is the first row of the second compartment of the economy class. As can be seen on the layout of Aeroflot's A321 cabin, these seats are located near the second pair of emergency hatches. There are only 4 seats in this row, there are no extreme places so as not to interfere with evacuation in case of an emergency. Of course, the advantage of this row is that there is a lot of legroom in front of the seats, but this advantage is easily leveled by proximity to the toilets. The same restrictions apply to the 19th row as to the 8th.

20th row. Locations A and F are very good. There is a lot of free space in front of you, you can safely get up from your seat, stretch your legs. These places are also places of increased comfort. The 4 remaining places of the 20th row are regular places.

21 - 30 rows. These are regular seats, the same as the seats in rows 9-17. There are no special features. The 30th row is close to the toilet, and seats C and D, which are directly at the aisle, are also inconvenient because a queue to the toilet may form next to you.

31st row. This is the last row, it has serious flaws. Not only the proximity to the toilet can spoil your mood, but also the fact that the backs in this row do not recline at all, since there is a wall immediately behind them.

Seat plan for Airbus A321 of S7 airline

The business class in the A321 S7 aircraft has only 2 rows, that is, 8 seats. There is a wall in front of the first row, and the seats in this row have the same characteristics as the seats in the first row of business class A321 of Aeroflot.

There is plenty of legroom in front of the second row. This business class row is preferable, however, you also need to consider that it is close to the noisy economy class.

Economy class.

3rd row. As you can see in the A321 S7 cabin map, this row is located directly behind the partition that separates economy class from business class. The disadvantage of this series is that there is a wall directly in front of you, and you will have to rest your eyes on it for the entire flight. But on the other hand, no one will lean back their seat on you, and your knees will not rest on the seat in front of the seated passenger. There is enough space in front of you, but you will not be able to stretch your legs.

Among the shortcomings, it can also be noted that the folding tables are built into the armrests, which is why they become motionless.

The big advantage of the front rows of economy class is that food and drinks on the plane are served from the nose. This means that passengers sitting in the front rows will have a greater choice of food and drinks, and they will receive meals earlier.

We don't have yet detailed information about the location of seats near the escape hatches, so we will try to give general information and recommendations based on the interior layout of the A321 S7.

Places near emergency hatches. The seats that are located in front of the emergency exit have a drawback - usually the backs of the seats do not recline or recline to a limited extent. The seats that are located after the emergency exit are the luxury seats, as the distance to the front row is quite large, and there is a lot of legroom. You can stretch your legs calmly, get up from your seat without disturbing your neighbor. A slight disadvantage is that the armrests of the chairs are fixed, as the pull-out table is built into the armrests. There are also restrictions for these seats - you can not put hand luggage at your feet, passengers with children or pets, people with disabilities or the elderly cannot sit in these seats. In the chairs located directly it is a bit cold near the escape hatch during the flight, but you can ask the flight attendants for a blanket.

Places near the toilet. Please note that, unlike the Aeroflot Airbus A321, the S7 has toilets only in the nose for business class and in the tail for economy class, that is, there are no toilets in the middle of the cabin. This means that by choosing any seat, except for the seats in the last row, you do not risk flying in the vicinity of the toilet. The last, 35th row is in the immediate vicinity of the toilet with all the ensuing consequences. The flight may be accompanied by the sounds of doors, water drains, smells. Also, in the aisle near you, a queue to the toilet may form. In this sense, two seats in the 34th row on either side of the aisle are also undesirable.

All other places are normal. When choosing a seat, you also need to take into account the rule - the closer to the nose of the aircraft, the faster the food is served, and the richer the assortment of food and drinks.

Seat plan in Airbus A321 of Ural Airlines

There are no business class seats in the cabin of the A321 aircraft of Ural Airlines, as you can see in the diagram, all 220 seats belong to the economy class. A feature of the cabin layout of this airline is that the toilets are located only in the bow and tail, that is, unlike Aeroflot, there are no toilets in the middle of the aircraft.

1st row. The first row has both advantages and disadvantages. Firstly, it is close to the kitchen and to the toilet. In addition, usually in such places someone constantly comes, someone leaves, queues for the toilet, and so on. This means that during the flight you will be accompanied by sounds, noise and bustle coming from there.

The disadvantage of the first row is the wall located directly in front of you. Although for some this is even an advantage, because there are no other passengers in front of you, no one will throw back the back of their chair on you, no one bothers you. There is much more knee room than if there were chairs in front of you, which is also an advantage. But on the other hand, the whole flight to look at this wall is probably not very pleasant either, it gives the impression of a closed space. Also note that the folding tables are built into the armrests, which is why the armrests cannot be raised.

2-9 rows. These are ordinary places, they do not have any special features. However, you need to remember that food and drinks on board the aircraft are served from the bow, so the farther you sit from the bow, the later you will receive meals, and the less assortment will be.

10th row. Seats in this row have a disadvantage. The 10th row is located directly in front of the emergency hatches, which is why the backs of the seats do not recline or recline not completely, so as not to block the path to the emergency exit.

11th row. As you can see in the Ural Airlines A321 cabin diagram, there are only 4 seats in this row, that is, there are no two extreme seats so as not to interfere with the emergency exit. These are some of the best places on the plane. Their advantage is that you have more legroom in front of you. You can calmly stretch your legs, get up from your seat without disturbing anyone. If you are traveling together, then you are building to take a closer look at these places, because there is no third chair, but there is also no porthole. Since the distance to the front row is large, the folding tables here are located not in the backs of the front seats, but in the armrests, which is why they do not rise. In these places there are the same restrictions as in the 8th row of the A321 of Aeroflot.

12th row. Extreme places (at the porthole) in this row are very good. There are no seats in front, plenty of space. Very comfortably.

13-24 rows. Seats in these rows are normal.

25th row. The seats in this row are the same as in the 10th row.

26th row. The seats in this row repeat the characteristics of the 11th row, but here all 6 seats are present. However, seats A and F in this row may be slightly slanted due to the proximity to the emergency exit, and one armrest may also be missing. In addition, due to the proximity to the hatches, it can be a little cold here. However, you can ask the flight attendants for a blanket.

27-36 rows. The seats in these rows are ordinary, of course, the closer to the end of the cabin and, accordingly, to the toilets, the worse.

37-38 rows. These are the worst seats on this plane. The proximity to the toilet does not bode well. The flight will be accompanied by the sounds of doors, water draining, possibly smells, etc. And the seats near the aisle in these rows are also bad in that a queue to the restroom may form near you. Of the seats in these rows, seats E and F of the 37th row are more preferable, which do not border the toilet and are not located near the aisle.

There is no business class.

1st row. The 1st row repeats the characteristics of the 1st row of A321 Uralavia.

2-10 rows. These are common places. However, the seat backs F of the 9th row and the entire 10th row do not recline or recline to a limited extent. This is done for safety reasons, as there are emergency hatches immediately after the 10th row. Despite this, note that there are only two seats to the right of the aisle in the 10th row. If you are traveling as a couple, then these places could be a good choice. But the porthole, of course, is missing.

11th row. These are places of increased comfort, they are located behind the emergency exit. These seats repeat the advantages and disadvantages of the seats of the 8th row of the A321 of the Aeroflot layout, which can be read about above.
