Hotel Reviews 2012 of the year

arrived in the evening. more than an hour to check in, then for more than an hour they waited for the bible to reach the room (there is also a queue for him - he is alone). then I had to go back to change the key. that one did not work - they waited another hour until they changed it. dinner was missed, the staff did not care about it, no one reminded and did not say a word. The receptionist answers all questions “5 minutes”, even if you wait an hour. The guide generally just left everyone and left to get cleaning after 3 days of waiting, I had to go to the reception. swear. otherwise they n...

Greetings to all who are planning a Green Beach vacation and I hope that the comments will help you save your money and nerves! I want to say right away that we rested in 4 * hotels and have been regular tourists in Turkey for 7 years, but we have not seen such an attitude, service anywhere !!! We rested at the hotel from 07/07/12 to 07/14/12, unless of course the daily stay at the reception can be called a vacation. And yet I want to tell everything in order: 1. When buying, we were looking for hotels with rooms more than 18...

Cons: check-in to the room, no matter what time we arrived, only after 14.00 (stayed for 5 hours), air conditioners did not work, settled in a room without a balcony (nowhere to dry) and a view of a huge bush (mosquitoes bothered), in the room - an old small the TV, the refrigerator did not work at all, often - the absence or weak pressure of hot water - it was impossible to wash and the terrible smell of bleach, it is strictly forbidden to brush your teeth with such water, a terrible entrance to the sea - only stones, disgusting, monotonous, gone ...

Upon arrival in Turkey, we were met, escorted to the bus and away we go! So we were told at the reception to leave our passports for the day so they could make photocopies?! why should I leave my passport for no reason! We were told they would check us in at 12, since they rent out rooms at such a time, as a result, we were placed at 2 o'clock. The hotel is big and stupid, for 5 he honestly does not pull as much as 3 maximum! was in Bodrum and have something to compare treshka better than this five! you have to go to the sea from the room...

My wife and I flew from the city of Dnepropetrovsk, bought a ticket without reading the reviews, but in vain, the hotel has a very terrible check-in, they check in at 2 o’clock, and only Russians, their (Turks) they check in upon arrival and not a single money will save anything here ... room on a ticket there was a hotel in the main building, they gave a room at 13-30, which, oddly enough, earlier, but having gone to look at the room, the boy was carrying our things and smiling, going down to the basement, it can’t be called otherwise, we went down the corridor from which it was damp, and it was very bad sv...

Hotel Reviews 2011 of the year

To begin with, we took a ticket 2 days before departure, we didn’t choose the hotel, what happened there and went. Therefore, I will write objectively. The ticket was cheap. We traveled as a family: father, mother, two children 5 and 7 years old. In Bodrum, and in its environs were for the first time. Immediately liked the view that we saw. Azure sea, mountains, rocks, small white houses. Very beautiful. It took about 2 hours to get to the hotel. We arrived in the evening, had dinner and were immediately taken to our room. Standard room, two beds. We are four...

We were a family of 3 adults and 2 children (3 and 5 years old). From 7 to 24 June 2011. The first thing I want to write about is that if we bought a ticket for 2 adults, two children, we would spend 2 times less (in total we paid 180,000t r). We had to take two rooms, marked connection, but the Turkish reception did something incomprehensible to me, my husband and I were put in one of the connection rooms, and my grandmother was just in the next room. Of course, the audibility in the connection room where there is a door between the rooms is very large. Behind...

WENT IN A COMPANY, 4 people, 2 couples, all 25 years old. Have a good rest! because we were driving, as always, positively, in a good mood. I must say the hotel is solid 4*. settled first in the rooms, which we immediately exchanged for others, on demand and absolutely free. the rooms were sea view, in a bungalow. beach - platform, depth 2-3 m, either along the ladder or dive. But on the sides there were gentle pebble entrances. snacks and fruits in the bars on the territory pleased with the abundance. the hotel is huge.not even about...

I stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago. It’s not even that I would rest, but so, I flew in for 4 days. For many tour operators, it goes like 5. A hotel on a mountain, descents and ascents are standard for Bodrum. The beach is a platform, too. The sea is clean. The territory is large enough. We always ate in the open part of the restaurant, there were sooooo many flies and dirty tables. The waiters didn't really clean up. Far from Bodrum. Of course, this is not a 5, but a solid 4. The food is also standard, like everywhere else in Turkey. AT general hotel good if...

I am very pleased that many people have looked at my review. But unfortunately, these people turned out to be only ambitious ladies who snatched out only a part about resettlement and eviction from the review, "sucked" it from all sides, showing their knowledge and their toughness. So I am forced to cite a number of facts that I inadvertently forgot to mention: - people are actually resettled until 17:00. On the last day I witnessed such a scandal: a mother with a 5-year-old child could not be accommodated from 10 am to 5 pm. All...

Hotel Reviews 2009 of the year

Friends, this hotel is suitable for absolutely everyone. Huge green area, beautiful sea, delicious food, a lot of different people from different countries communication for every taste =). I was there in 2006, it was my first visit abroad and the impressions remained for a lifetime. Bodrum is a super town, a lot of youth and movement, who want to hang out cool, this place is exactly what you need. To be honest, now I don’t remember a single minus, only positive emotions remained, but most of all I remember the aroma of jasmine for ...

Hotel Reviews 2008 of the year

We stayed at this hotel in late June/early July 2008. We have been regularly resting in Turkey for probably 8 years. Pros. 1. You can note the good climate of these places in Turkey for the middle of summer, the heat (+36) is almost not felt - there is always a constant breeze from the sea. In the bay where the hotel is located, the sea was warm, although people from hotels located on the other sides of the Bodrum Peninsula complained about cold water (almost 20-22 degrees). 2. Beautiful terraced area of the hotel. There are several bass...

I rested with a friend in this hotel in July 2007. It was the first time in Turkey, so there is nothing to compare with ... But I was delighted with this hotel !!! Very beautiful place! Huge territory! So I didn’t go around. ..Bodrum is a fun city: discos, yachts, shops... Dolmushi go from the hotel several times a day, 40 minutes to the city, but we went there every day... There were problems with the air conditioner, but I did not pay attention. Animation for 5!!! The food is good! Just don't go to the fish restaurant, everything they promise there...

Since for me there is no other sea better than the Aegean; -))) so far, from those where I was, my husband and I immediately chose Bodrum (I was last here in 2010, and my husband had never been to Turkey at all, my brother and wife had never been abroad before). Chose for 10 days on your budget. And we knew perfectly well that we were not eating in a super hotel (for 10 days in a very good hotel in the top five in Bodrum, you need to pay at least 2000 euros, and even there, if you find fault, you can find cons).

Let's start from the very beginning. We arrived early in the morning at 9.05, at about 10.30 we were already at the hotel. Check-in according to the standard as everyone else at 14.00. We had rooms in the main building with a note in the voucher from the travel agent that the rooms have a balcony and a sea view. For the first time I meet that they reacted so responsibly to the fact that they would fulfill all the options. Who took tours to the bungalow rooms - they were settled at about 12.00. We were around 14.00 - they didn’t take the money, because the rooms with a sea view were released only at 12.00, and with a view of the garden they offered - but we ourselves refused. The rooms are normal and spacious. My husband and I had a room on the 5th floor (near the reception), overlooking the sea and the tea patio.

My brother and wife settled on the second floor overlooking the sea, the pool and the amphitheater (it’s very noisy if you want to sleep during the day, you won’t be able to, and there are also some unique people who sit near the pool and yell for half the night - but this is not a hotel problem, but an upbringing problem ). For example, a company of young people lived in our wing (I don’t know from where, but Russian speakers) - they thumped until midnight a day later, slammed the door loudly and could stand near their room and talk loudly, and in a 10-word sentence, everything else was normal mat. They made a remark - it was enough for one day. I understand - you came to rest, but reckon with other vacationers.

The room was cleaned normally, both for us and for my brother (someone here wrote that they don’t clean at all - we didn’t have this), and the towels were changed every day, and the bed was changed every 2 days. In our room, the water from the bath didn’t leave well - they said 2 times at the reception, no one responded, it didn’t bother us for 10 days, everything else worked. Someone wrote in the reviews that there was no brush in the toilet - we had one.

Territory - very large, green, all in flowers. There are a lot of different places for relaxation, and not only by the pools. The territory is clean, in some places not quite well-groomed, but overall very good for 4 out of 5 balls. The hotel is old and, accordingly, the territory is already shabby.

Swimming pools - there are many of them, all of them were not bypassed. We swam in the pool once, mostly, once in the one near the water park. The pools are clean - but the sea is better ;-)))

The beach is the entrance from the platform, or if you walk from the elevator to the end of the beach, there is an entrance to the room not from the platform, but along the pebbles, but there is a very small strip of the beach and many of those with children. In my opinion, the hotel is not intended for children, there are slopes everywhere, the beach where the entrance is not very small from the depth, and from the platform for children it is only probably from 7-8 years old and then they could swim. The beach is old, sun loungers and mattresses are already shabby, the pier is shabby, ladders for descent and ascent are already loose. It is also small for the number of vacationers - in order to take a place on the beach under a canopy on the first line - you need to go to the beach at 7.00 before breakfast, if you come right after breakfast - then I think you will still find a place, but under a canopy already on 3-4 lines . And if you come at 10.00 (well, as we usually did ;-)))) then you will either be at 4 on one sun lounger, or collect free ones all over the beach :-))))

But the sea is super, and if you eat for the sake of the sea (and you should go to Bodrum for the sake of the sea and Bodrum itself ;-))) - then you can close your eyes to everything. The sea is clean, warm, a lot of fish, just swim with them. We were very worried that we were eating at the end of September, that the sea would already be cold, that the weather would already be cold, that this was the end of the season. Everything was fine - one day out of 10 it was a little cloudy and raining, and the sea was a little stormy and the water became 2 degrees cooler. I went out to swim even at 6.00 - the water was like fresh milk.

The food is definitely a downside. There is enough food - you will never leave hungry, and for some reason everyone lined up from 19.30 and ran knocking each other down, suddenly something is not enough. But everything is enough for everyone, we came a couple of times at 19.30 - then we scored and came already at 20.30-21.00 - we sat down at a table overlooking the pool and the sea, and everything was enough for us to eat. Food - the dishes didn’t change at all, only grilled for dinner, and soups for lunch, and for breakfast, lunch and dinner everything is the same from day to day, there is a choice of dishes, but on the 6th day of rest they are all already boring, and you have to eat one and also. I read in the reviews that the food is not for 5, and even 3 stars does not pull.

Here they gave lamb a couple of times, and grilled mackerel - for Turkey this is chic, in some hotels it will never be more expensive. We went for lunch twice in 10 days, had a hearty breakfast, and then the men, if they got hungry, ate burgers in a cafe on the beach. It made me laugh that my brother had never been abroad, in Turkey and on all inclusive, on the third day of rest he began to resent why there was no borscht, and in general, upon arrival in Kyiv, on the way home, he was looking for where to eat borscht, in general, we concluded that he should not be long time to leave Ukraine.

Alcohol - absolutely normal as elsewhere on all inclusive. Vodka, gin, crayfish, beer, wine. Wine - white normal, red and pink, of course, shmurdyak is diluted. Efes beer is normal, someone wrote non-alcoholic, it gives nothing like that from the 3rd glass. The cocktail is also like everywhere else - some kind of yupi is mixed with gin or vodka. We are on vacation - either we drink beer or a gin and tonic, or what we brought with us, took champagne for $ 17 - we didn’t like it. Everything was ok with that. The coffee from the vending machines is not very good, but the cappuccino mochachino and coffee light are essentially the same drink, only you press different buttons on the machine, I didn’t find a difference in them, the tea is good.

Animation is ordinary - entertain as I can, there is something to laugh at, and all sorts of contests. Morning exercises are a joke, or you need more cheerful music or more active movements, otherwise it’s somehow completely sad. On the beach they do not entertain at all, all the animation is near the central pool.

The hotel has a cool hookah bar (near the tea yard) - a hookah costs $20, but you can bargain, and the hookah is very good, we liked it.

The tea yard is nothing special, except for the location - in the shade of pine trees and that's it. Tea there is ordinary coffee, too, some incomprehensible cookies, nothing special.

The nearest town of Gundogan is a 20-minute walk (the guys went to the pharmacy themselves), on a minibus that leaves from the hotel for 4 lira, you can get there in a couple of minutes. There are supermarkets in the City, if you take tea, coffee, olives and olive oil, then in supermarkets it is cheaper than in sweet shops (to which you will be taken from excursions), but I don’t remember if they were in the supermarket or not. There are souvenir shops, cheaper than in Bodrum and in the hotel. There is also a beach and promenade - small, but clean. And there are a lot of cafes along the embankment, if you want to dine with grilled fish or seafood, then here it’s about 20% cheaper than in Bodrum.

We went to Bodrum with an excursion from Pegasus for $15, and we stayed back until late at night and returned by taxi for $20. They didn’t regret the excursion, I’m in Bodrum for the 3rd time observation deck was (but in 2013 the mills were not restored yet), was in the amphitheater, was not at the gates of Myndos, and only read the history of Bodrum a little. It was frustrating that the fortress and the museum of archeology are under restoration after the earthquake and will open only in 2020, but this will be a reason to return here. In general, I can write a lot for Bodrum - I fell in love with him at first sight and this time he did not disappoint me. We had dinner at a cafe on the beach with grilled fish and seafood. With a bottle of French wine and beer for 4, we got $ 60, for comparison, in 2010 for two with a bottle of wine, also French, we got $ 120.

On excursions - from the general list offered by Pegasus, I was almost everywhere, except for Pamukkale. We chose a pirate yacht and Ephesus for ourselves. A pirate yacht - nothing has changed since 2010, in my opinion I was on the same yacht in 2010, only it was called differently and was not so drawn out, it’s worth going and swimming in the bays because the water there is just super. Ephesus is also very interesting, I was here for the second time, I was in 2013 - from that moment the city was dug up a little more and they continue to dig it up to this day, that is, if you have already been there once, it does not mean that you will not be interested the second time.

On excursions - once again I am convinced that there is no better tour operator in Turkey than a teztour, because the Pegasus guide still lied a little bit on each excursion, for example sightseeing tour according to Bodrum "you will have 1.5 hours of free time" they actually gave 1 hour, and for Bodrum even 1.5 hours is not enough. And no one tells you that in addition to the tour you will be taken to different shops (with their prices). Probably we have already lost the habit of this, since Teztour 1. warns about this and 2. not all excursions have it.

In general, we were satisfied. After Egypt, my husband told me that now only to Turkey - it’s calmer here, and the price suits us even in the same hotel, we know the rest of the cons and are ready to return here again for the sake of the sea.

We chose a hotel for a long time, read reviews and were mentally prepared for everything that people wrote about this hotel, but still, in some places we were simply shocked. I will say right away that the sea and the beach are the best that this hotel has. We went on vacation to swim and sunbathe. We are not fans of sandy beaches, so entering the sea from a pontoon did not bother us at all, on the contrary - you can jump, the sea is warm and transparent, you can dive with goggles and a mask, there are fish. Lots of people on the beach best places they do it even at night, but in general you can always find a place to lie down on a sun lounger, there is a dressing room and a bar on the beach. The first thing that shocked us upon arrival was the reception area workers. Kazakhs, in my opinion, are definitely not Turks. They treat visitors like g """ oh, they shout loudly, at yourrequests or questions, the answer is one - go to lunch, the restaurant will close now. Our problem was that we were three adults and we booked 1 double and 1 single room. Started asking for rooms to be next to each other. They didn't answer us. As a result, with a fight and shouting, we were still given rooms next door. We read that Russians are put into rooms without repairs and other delights of civilization. AT single room the air conditioner did not work at all, in our double bathtub water was dripping from the ceiling, the shower door was broken. Moreover, the hotel staff is well aware of this. When we arrived in the evening and asked to send a master to see where the water was pouring from, they simply nodded to us in response, but no one even came. They were also lucky that our one person, who lived in a single room, did fine without air conditioning (we would have died from the heat). I don’t know if they gave us these numbers, because we performed a lot when we arrived, or they are all like that there. But it's not like 5*, it's barely 3*. We do not ask for royal conditions, but when everything is broken, dirty and just unpleasant to be in the room - this is a completely different matter. Cleaning is a separate issue. A couple of times I sat on the balcony and read a book while the cleaner came to the room, and so the whole cleaning took about 7 minutes at most. Once I looked under the bed - it would be better if I didn’t do it. From the advantages of the hotel: a large green area, beautiful views from the restaurant and from the territory to the neighboring shore, proximity to the village of Gundogan (you can take a minibus directly from the hotel, it runs quite often), the village is very cute and there are many shops. The food at the hotel suited us just fine. A large selection of dishes, everything is quite tasty, a lot of vegetables, salads, fruits (watermelon for breakfast, lunch and dinner), Turkish flatbread and sweets. Everyone, of course, choke on food, grab like crazy. But the food was always brought and you just had to wait a bit until the people subsided. Wine is quite nothing for Turkey. We also really liked the tea house, located right in a pine grove, there was always a breeze blowing from the sea and there was a cooler with drinks, water and tea, in the heat - a great pastime. In general, we were satisfied with the rest, the main thing is that we bought ourselves stupefied. But the management of the hotel is disgusting, you just had to close your eyes and open them to the sea) UPDATE THE ROOM FACILITY, it's just a shame. And then the price of this hotel will not be!!

The hotel is located on a hill, 25 km from the center of Bodrum, in a quiet and secluded place, among pine and eucalyptus forests. Bodrum Airport is 45 km from the hotel.
