Wim air maximum baggage weight. Rules for the carriage of baggage and hand luggage in the airline vim-avia

Air travel involves checking in luggage, one part of which is sent to a special compartment, and the passenger of the airliner takes the other part on board. At the same time, each airline has its own rules and regulations for the carriage of such cargo. VIM-Avia hand luggage is no exception.

How much hand luggage can I take on board (permitted weight and size)

Before buying a ticket, it is advisable to clarify the restrictions (limits) on the weight and dimensions (size) of hand luggage on VIM-Avia aircraft. According to the carrier's rules, this type of cargo belongs to the free baggage allowance. However, the allowable weight depends on the applicable fare.

How many kilograms (kg) of hand luggage can be taken on VIM-Avia airliners? There are a number of requirements (taking into account the tariff plan):

  • "Promo", "Economy" and "Economy Plus" - up to 5 kg(one place).
  • "Economy Comfort" and "Business" - up to 10 kg(one place).

The size limit for hand luggage is common to all fares and is 115cm, namely 55*40*20cm.

Hand luggage VIM-Avia - rules of carriage

The next point to be dealt with is the features of baggage allowance and hand luggage on aircraft. Here are the following requirements:

  • Places for placing hand luggage and luggage on board VIM-Avia are under the passenger seat, who sits in front. Alternative option placement - on a shelf above your seat.
  • When registering the cargo at the registration desk, the items must be affixed with a special tag “Into the cabin”. In addition, a note is made on the paper receipt about the weight of things carried on board the aircraft.
  • Some cargo is allowed to be transported above the established norm, namely an umbrella, a cane, a bouquet of flowers, a folder, a briefcase or a woman's handbag. This category also includes a tablet, camcorder, camera and other things. More detailed information can be obtained on the official website or on the carrier's hotline. It is also allowed to transport a car seat for a child, a wheelchair (when flying a disabled person), stretchers and crutches.
  • The mentioned things are not weighed before loading and are not measured for the fact of compliance with the allowable dimensions.

Rules for the carriage of liquids

Above, we examined how much carry-on baggage can be carried (by weight and size), learned the features of registering and transporting these things on board the aircraft. An equally important issue is the transportation of liquids. Over the years, the carrier's rules have become much tougher.

So, all transported liquids must be packed in a special plastic bag. The exception is medicines that a passenger may need on board an airliner. There are restrictions on the permissible capacity - no more than 100 ml. At the same time, the volume of the package in which the container with liquid is sealed should not be more than one liter. These standards apply to everything - lotions, water, toothpaste, gels, cosmetics and other liquid formulations.

If the product is purchased at the airport, it can be transported on the VIM-Avia aircraft as hand luggage only if it is in a sealed bag. Also, the passenger must have a check that confirms the fact of purchase of the goods, with the date of the purchase. In this case, the number indicated in the document must correspond to the day of departure. The package is sealed directly at the place of purchase.

Carriage of baggage on board the aircraft

As noted, VIM-Avia customers should know rules for transporting hand luggage and luggage. Regarding the second "category" of things, the following nuances should be highlighted:

  • Baggage, characterized by increased fragility and value, can be transported in the cabin.
  • Carriage of luggage on board must be agreed in advance with the representatives of the airline. At the time of buying travel document you need to reserve a place for luggage and pay for it.

  • Weight of things carried in the cabin cannot be more than 80 kg, and the dimensions must be such that the luggage fits in the passenger seat.
  • On the packaging of the cargo there must be special fasteners that allow you to fix it on the chair.
  • The passenger must personally lift luggage into the cabin.
  • Payment for such transportation is carried out at a 100 percent rate.

Knowing the rules and regulations for transporting hand luggage on a VIM-Avia aircraft allows you to avoid flight delays, problems with the carrier and unnecessary costs.

All airlines have their own baggage rules. If you are going on a flight, you need to familiarize yourself with these rules in advance so that there are no problems during check-in. Let's consider what rules are set for the airline "VIM-Avia".

The plane and the new form of flight attendants "Wim-Avia"

In general, the rules of this company are similar to many others, however, there are still some nuances. You need to know them before departure in order for the check-in to be successful.

Let's start with the fact that there are such types of luggage:

  • registered, which flies in the luggage compartment;
  • luggage that you can take with you to the cabin.

If you fly in economy class, VIM-Avia baggage must have certain parameters so that you do not have to overpay. So, luggage weighing up to 20 kg, measuring 203 cm and luggage weighing 5 kg, 115 cm long can be carried free of charge. As for business class passengers, they have their own privileges regarding the things they carry. Thus, it is allowed to carry a suitcase with things weighing up to 30 kg free of charge, and hand luggage - 10 kg.

It should be noted that this airline is different in that it is quite loyal to skiers, unlike other companies. Everyone knows that a skier needs to take rather large equipment with him on the road, for which you need to pay extra. But VIM-Avia gives athletes the opportunity to transport their equipment for free. Thus, to their main baggage adds 20 free kilos. Such a passenger must carry skis with sticks or a snowboard in a special case. This also applies to equipment. In general, general weight should not exceed 14-15 kg. If a couple of skiers are flying, they can fit their equipment in one bag and save on luggage. In this case, the weight will double, but you will not have to pay extra for it.

Transportation of animals

Many people know that not all companies allow pets to be taken on board. Unfortunately, then passengers have to leave them alone at home or with friends. What to do if the transportation of an animal is necessary? It is enough to use the services of this company. It allows you to transport pets, whose weight should not exceed 8 kg. If it exceeds, then you need to pay extra for it. If your pet weighs more than 30 kg, then it will have to be left at home. The animal must have documents, a certificate from a veterinarian, and also be in a cage. During the flight, the pet will be in the luggage compartment.

The cost of excess baggage "VIM-Avia"

Baggage that weighs more than 20-30 kg is considered excess baggage. Baggage heavier than 32 kg is considered heavy. A load is one whose weight is 50 kg or more. It is issued according to the rules for the carriage of goods, but not baggage. Note that clear luggage rates missing. The only thing is that some airports charge 150-200 rubles for each kilogram if the baggage exceeds the norm.

It is important to know that free rates do not apply to animals. Exception: if the passenger is blind and accompanied by a guide dog. If your items weigh more than the free allowance, you should warn about this at the time of booking your flights. Then you need to pay at the current rates.

Carry-on and Baggage Rules: Things You Can Take on a Flight

luggage and hand luggage "VIM-Avia" have their own rules regarding the transportation of certain things. First you need to know that the size of hand luggage should be no more than 115 cm in length. All luggage is placed under the seat. This arrangement is necessary in order for the cabin to be spacious. Flight attendants must move freely around the cabin. Check-in of baggage is carried out by issuing a special tag to the passenger, on which its parameters are marked. You can’t lose it, otherwise there may be trouble.

Hand luggage may only contain the following items:

  • personal items that a person cannot do without. This category includes personal hygiene items, dietary or baby food, crutches, stretchers, etc.;
  • valuables: electronic devices (smartphone, tablet), camera, cosmetic bag;
  • business papers;
  • books, magazines, newspapers;
  • glasses;
  • umbrella.

They are not weighed, they are not drawn up and they are not labeled with tags. The prohibited list includes:

  • narcotic drugs;
  • poisons, toxins;
  • weapons, ammunition;
  • wild animals and birds;
  • bees and other insects;
  • sharp objects.

If these things are found during the check, then the airline employees have the right to withdraw them and not return them.

Services and rules of the airline "VIM-Avia"

It is noteworthy that this company offers passengers such a function as “seat selection”. Two days before departure, everyone who has purchased a plane ticket has the right to choose and book a seat in the cabin. There is a special check-in counter for such passengers. Basically, this service is used by people who are hard to endure the flight or mothers with young children. The first category selects places where the waves are not so noticeable and where it does not shake much, and the second category - places that are aside, as well as those where it is more comfortable. For seats in the first compartment you need to pay 900 rubles, in the second - 200 rubles. When booking, you need to pay an additional 40 rubles.

Of course, "VIM-Avia" offers the service " return and exchange of tickets» for those who decide to change the time of the flight, as well as for those who need to return tickets.

Transportation of women in position is only permissible if they have at least 8 weeks left before delivery. They must have a medical certificate with them that they can go on a flight. Children under 5 years old can only be transported accompanied by an adult passenger. Children from 5 to 12 years old can fly without an adult, but in this case, the carrier is responsible for them. It is very important that the age of the child is indicated on the ticket, otherwise there may be problems. It is also necessary to have a birth certificate so that the carrier can verify the honesty of the passenger. As for people with handicapped, then they must carry documents that confirm their disability. Such people can take a stroller and crutches with them to the salon. Guide dogs of any size are also allowed. You don't need to pay extra for it.

As we can see, the VIM-Avia company has its own characteristics regarding the flight. Knowing them, you can quickly and successfully check in, as well as safely reach your destination. You can get acquainted with this information on the official website of the company or by contacting its managers. The baggage rules of VIM-Avia are absolutely not complicated. It is not necessary to take all the things from home on the flight. It is necessary to take only the most necessary, without which you can not do on the road and in a new place. If you need to transport a large cargo, let us know in advance so that the clearance process goes smoothly. It must be remembered that you have to pay for excess baggage and cargo. It is advisable to familiarize yourself with the prices in advance, so that later there are no problems and surprises. In general, it is better to plan your trip well in advance.
