    I've seen subsidized fares since the summer. S7 is still selling them until December 1st. Neither they nor Aeroflot and some other companies have Simferopol. He was probably in 2015. In general, all this is nonsense, designed for those who know how to grab. For 23.5 years of disability, they didn’t give me a single ticket. In the spring they explained the policy: take tickets, at least by air, at least by Russian Railways, and a ticket "according to indications" (they have people on Black Sea resorts travel very far from the indications, including to Bulgaria). So, according to their conditions, the voucher should be for 14 days (and sanatoriums offer only 10 or less, up to 14 days is expensive, given that excursions are not included in the price) .. and "then we will refund the cost of the flight." Something is hard to believe, and the cost of tickets for April is not small. Logically, if there is already this subsidization, then they must accept applications with dates in advance in each airline, and those who applied earlier get the ticket first, in case of refusal they give it to the next one. At least the vouchers are distributed in this way: whoever submitted the documents earlier, is closer in turn. If they don’t want to sell tickets through My Documents, then at least they don’t go into the distribution, and don’t determine who needs it more, after all, it’s not free: we still pay money, and not small.

    1. Good afternoon. In the summer of this year, I was vacationing in the Crimea, I purchased subsidized tickets as a pensioner on the site s 7, for 12,000 rubles Round trip. Although I found out about it by accident. Information should be more accessible. Overall, I'm very satisfied and I'm going to use this right in 2019.

      1. Albina, how did you buy tickets on the site, if the article emphasizes three times that preferential tickets are not sold via the Internet? I would also like to buy tickets online than dragging myself to the box office.

        1. Just above the message was mine. I did not expect that Crimea would be reduced to three directions in general. Aeroflot and Ural subsidized are sold only through the box office, but you can book by phone. And C7 is also sold to pensioners whose age is displayed in the office. Now it looks like you have to buy back and forth. I bought a share of the Ural “there” at a discount (I think it’s better to watch them than subsidies, just subscribe to the desired direction and dates. If you need documents, only at the box office. I think they don’t want to give Moscow, because they give vouchers to veterans to Crimean boarding houses work, and accordingly fully compensate for the flight. And I think the age of 55-60 will be left in a year only for the North. My mother retired there at 50, because of this she did not return to Moscow. But residents of other regions will increase the age at the same time with an increase in pensions.

This year more than 20 Russian airlines offer subsidized air tickets. In 2019, flights will be operated to 100 regional destinations in the territory Russian Federation. You can buy such tickets only in airlines or ticket agencies with which airlines cooperate. To make a purchase, you must provide documents proving the identity, citizenship and age of the passenger.

In addition to pensioners, other beneficiaries can also purchase subsidized air tickets.

Subsidized air tickets are preferential air tickets at a special reduced rate, exempt from taxes and fees. Part of flight costs Russian airlines the state compensates, so subsidized tickets are cheaper than regular ones. The state allocates money to support air transportation citizens in Russia for the past 9 years.

Pensioners are a separate socially unprotected category of citizens who, as a rule, cannot work. At the state level, privileges are provided for such beneficiaries. Thanks to the annually adopted social norms aimed at supporting these citizens, the state manages to make life easier for pensioners. In particular, there is a subsidy that allows you to purchase preferential plane tickets for pensioners.

The program "Preferential air tickets for pensioners" began in 2009, funds for subsidizing tickets are allocated from the federal budget, so the conditions for using such a privilege cannot be limited at the regional level.

In addition to pensioners who have become such due to reaching a certain age established at the legislative level, other pensioners can also exercise the right to receive such a privilege:

  • citizens who have received the necessary experience due to work in hazardous industries and in the regions of the Far North;
  • mothers with the status of large families who have given birth or adopted 5 or more children;
  • disabled people who received this status due to vision problems.

Features of purchasing subsidized air tickets in 2019

In accordance with Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 215 dated March 2, 2018, the Rules for the provision of subsidies from the federal budget to air transport organizations were approved in order to ensure the availability of air transportation for the population, on the basis of which the so-called “subsidized air tickets” are implemented. In 2019, tickets for this benefit can be purchased in 56 cities of Russia.

State programs for the allocation of subsidies for air transportation of Russians affect several areas:

  • increase the accessibility of regions of the country in which there is no alternative air transport
  • increase tourist flows in the low season (April-May, October-November)
  • increase the availability of air transportation to the Crimea (Simferopol) during the high season (June-November)

Information about subsidized (preferential) tickets can be found on the websites or by calling the airlines participating in government programs. You can buy subsidized (preferential) tickets only at airlines or ticket agencies (airline ticket offices) with which airlines cooperate. To make a purchase, you must provide documents proving the identity, citizenship and age of the passenger.

Companies have appeared on the Internet that allegedly issue subsidized airline tickets online. It is worth noting that subsidized air tickets are not sold via the Internet, but only at the ticket offices of airlines and their representatives. If there are no representatives of the airline in the city, you can check with the call center of the airline where the nearest office of their representatives is located.

Subsidized air tickets are legally exempt from commission and surcharges. Airlines do not charge commissions and fees when selling subsidized air tickets. There have been cases when ticket agencies took a commission, so before buying subsidized tickets at a ticket agency or an air ticket office, it is worth checking whether they will take a commission for issuing tickets.

Every year the list of conditions and prices change, as well as the number of airlines participating in such a system. An important point is that all tariffs and rates are prescribed in the contract between the airline and the Federal Air Transport Agency. They cannot be changed at the checkout at your own discretion. The discount is usually given in the amount of 50% of the cost.
