The only negative is that the hotel is located on a rather noisy road. The issue was solved by buying earplugs in a pharmacy.

We stayed in a deluxe room with access to the pool. The atmosphere of peace and relaxation, quiet, clean. We will gladly return again. Excellent breakfast.

All liked it!

We rested with my wife for a week from September 20 to 27 at the Athena Palace Hotel and were simply delighted. amazing beautiful place with the highest standards of service. A very large, well-groomed and beautiful territory, food and service in the restaurant are just wonderful (we especially want to note and thank the restaurant employee Dina for her kind and attentive attitude). Wi-fi is wonderful, catches even on the beach, who cares, there is a gym, cleaning every day , there are master classes and concerts after dinner, there is a good mini-shop. The only possible downside for someone might not be the best best beach at the hotel, but it is also quite good, because the sea here is as impressive as in the whole of Sithonia and a couple of times we were on it. But it is better, of course, to be in a car and drive around the entire peninsula. In general, the hotel definitely met all our expectations and, if possible, we will come to you again!

The dinner food is not very child friendly. I would like that, in addition to all other dishes, there was some kind of children's table like the one they give in kindergarten (mashed potatoes, stewed cutlets, jelly)

Liked everything. Traveling with a one year old. The hotel has everything for a child: free rental of strollers, for strollers - pantus along the steps, high chairs in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, a baby bed in the room, one of the pools with a shallow entry for children. The territory is beautiful, the water in the sea is clean, cleaned every day. We ordered a transfer from / to the airport - excellent, comfortable, 1 hour on the way. The return transfer was 2.5 hours later than the check-out, we were kindly allowed to stay in the room at no extra charge - thank you very much! On Saturdays free tasting of Greek wines, 4 times a week at 21-00 cultural program in the central bar - a tasteful program, not banal, pleasant.

I can't call it minuses, just some nuances that you need to know about. 1) the hotel is located between two settlements practically in the forest, in order not to be tied to the hotel you need a car. A taxi to civilization is not cheap, the prices in the hotel shop are certainly higher than in the city, and the range is not large. 2) the beach is pebbly. In principle, it doesn’t bother at all, on the contrary, the water is clear, you can see the bottom) but with a small child it’s certainly not very convenient, but I can say that if we were without a child, we wouldn’t pay attention to it at all. 3) the only thing that really surprised and a little strained was the crib. We booked it separately, the hotel charges 2 euros per day for it. As a result, we got a playpen with a very low bottom and a very soft mattress. The child could not sleep in it and slept with us the whole vacation🤷🏼‍♀️. I addressed this issue to the reception, as a result, the maids brought us some kind of extra mattress, but it did not improve the situation. The maids said there were no others. It would be very nice if the hotel provided normal baby cots, not playpens. This is practiced in other five-star hotels.

Without exaggeration, a chic hotel! The holiday began with the fact that upon arrival, a nice girl at the reception announced to us that we were being upgraded. And not just to the next category, but right up to the maisonette 😄 of course, our joy knew no bounds. The room is great! Large, clean, with access to the pool from its own terrace. The room has a bedroom, living room and another bedroom on the second floor. Each room has air conditioning. Considering that we were traveling with a one-year-old child, this resettlement was most welcome. We took breakfast and dinner, I can say that the food is excellent. Dinner always has everything! Fish, several types of meat and poultry. There is also a large selection for breakfast, on Sundays they serve champagne and salmon for breakfast) the only thing is that the sweet table is a bit poor, but I can say that this is a big plus for me! Otherwise, the chances of bringing extra pounds would have increased greatly😅 the hotel is located in a wonderful place, in the evenings we walked along the sea, enjoying the beautiful views and wonderful smells of the coniferous forest. We will be happy to return again! P.s. We had a late departure and we paid extra for a late checkout until 16.00. It cost us 50 euros. I think that this is quite a humane price for such a number.

No toilet on the beach.

The staff is not just friendly, it is positively charged. The hotel has a beautiful green area. I liked the breakfasts and dinners. Of the interesting things, mussels were served on ice or hot in sauce, grilled dorado, lightly salted salmon, a whole roast pig, and champagne on Sunday mornings. Thanks to the hotel for the generous gift - an upgrade to a family room with two bedrooms, bathrooms and a small patio. The hotel services work smoothly - there was a small problem with hot water in the room. The technicians came right away and fixed everything. Wifi worked without interruption. From entertainment - almost every evening there are performances by the pool by artists: guitarists, singers, Greek dancers or salsa. In the evenings, you can walk along the road (cars rarely drive along it) past the olive grove and beautiful views of the pine trees, the sea and the sunset. Sunbeds on the beach are free. You can go to the beach through the tunnel - 77 steps down. This is not a negative hotel, just a reality. I adapted to the lack of cabanas on the beach.

The beach near the hotel is quite nice, but narrow and pebbly. In 10 minutes by car there is a wonderful Castries, we swam there. Dinner does not include any drinks, not even tea and water. We were not allowed to bring our own water. Well, you know ... In general, quite a lot of side costs, although the price for the room is already not small. Without a car, of course, it’s a bit difficult here, although there are minibuses to Nikiti and Neas Marmaras (paid).

4 restaurants, 2 swimming pools, amazing nature around. The staff understands Russian, everyone is very friendly. A very good shop on the territory, you do not need to go to the city for any small things. A bunch of all sorts of goodies on the territory such as a gym, table tennis, bowling, sauna, SPA, minigolf. The location is excellent, half an hour by car all the sights of Sithonia.

My husband and I rested there from 07/25/06 to 08/05/06 Great hotel! Green, big, with original style! I can immediately warn you that there is little entertainment, but if someone wants to take a break from a large crowd of people, then this is the place for you. Pine forest and immediately the sea - just amazing!!! There are Russian-speaking girls at the reception, several waiters also speak Russian in restaurants. The food is varied, fresh and delicious. Fruits are really greenish... But meat dishes... wow, lick your fingers...

I flew to Greece with my mom and dad (24.07.2003 - 07.08.2003). The company is doing great! We have been traveling with her for 3 years and nothing strange has happened! The road was good. On the way to the hotel we were told interesting things about Greece. Arrival - not very good (change from bus to minibus and even in the heat ...). Accommodation is super! The weather during this period can be different, you will not guess. Or the velvet season, or the rains ....

Rested from 04.08.03 to 17.08.03. Rating travel agency 5-only for our departure from the airport "Vnukovo". When buying a tour, they asked to provide a flight from Domodedovo. As a result, when they took away the documents, they explained to us that the flight from Domodedovo was 2 hours earlier and we would have to wait for everyone else in Thessaloniki, so we agreed. We met well, but the funny thing is that we were driving separately from everyone else in a car (rather, we flew at a speed of 140 km / h and sometimes touched the ground). the hotel is located on the second finger of Chalkis...

Well, I finally got around to writing a review about my trip to Greece last May.
Well, let's start in order:
1. Country. Honestly, I'm just in love with Greece! Crystal clear sea, mountainous landscapes, pleasant cool southern sun and friendly friendly Greeks!!! I would especially like to note the unobtrusiveness of the male population - Greek men, of course, are hot and not averse to having an affair with a tourist, but decent women only need to hint that she does not want such romance and the Greek will delicately step aside! The Greeks value personal freedom very much, and even barkers in the market will not grab you by different parts of your body and impose their goods on you by force, as it would be in Egypt or Turkey!
2. Nature. Everything is super! Mountain air, pine forests, olive groves and the clear Mediterranean Sea - what else do you need?
3. Hotel. I personally was bored - there was no program, except for 2 Greek evenings in a restaurant in 10 days. Saved by the fact that we went on excursions - to Meteora (I really liked it !!!) and to Thessaloniki (not really, it would be better to go to Olympus). We also traveled by municipal transport to the town of Neos Marmaros. There is a small market, nothing special, but there was nothing to choose from ...
Rooms - in my opinion, they don’t pull on 5 *, it’s dark and damp ... in the shower dampness and mold, the shower doors were constantly breaking, the water did not drain well, there were interruptions in hot water. Cleaned up decently, but not great. Even for a tip. And on cool nights, they did not agree to turn on the heater (there was a central heater-air conditioner), supposedly it takes a long time to heat up and this is inefficient! We were given damp blankets that were not particularly warm!
The territory of the hotel - here - CLASS!!! Everything is covered in greenery and flowers! The territory is well ennobled with small fountains, arches with a climbing vine, various flowerbeds and elements of everyday life of a Greek village. Also on the large territory of the hotel there is a very beautiful swimming pool, 2 Orthodox chapels, a souvenir and grocery store (although we bought all this in Neos Marmaros - both cheaper and more choice).
Cafes and restaurants - we had food for breakfast and dinner, and I must say very decent! Vegetables, fruits, cheeses, several types of meat, fish. Lots of different salads different types sandwiches and snacks, coffee, cocoa, tea, juices - as much as you like. In the evenings, even local wine was sometimes given. Desserts are especially noteworthy - they were just mind-numbing)))!!! And every day, several species were given!
For lunch we usually went to a restaurant near the bar - they cook fish well there.
The beach is pebbly and across the road (along the underpass). Although the road is quite quiet, there is almost no traffic as this path just leads from the highway to the hotels. And the pebbles are quite suitable for walking barefoot (especially since this way you get a free and very useful foot massage), but it will not be very pleasant for children to run and jump there.
But the sea is just great - so transparent that 20 meters from the shore you can still see the bottom! But for some reason the sunbeds and umbrellas were paid (((We didn’t buy them, because we were outraged by such pettiness, especially the sunbeds by the pool are completely free!
The hotel staff scared us with sea urchins, but for 10 days I never met this "beast"))) And in general, no one saw them there)))
I didn't like the service at the spa! Massage 40 euros for 15 minutes of light strokes is too much. Moreover, the girl who worked there could not be found during the day with fire! And if you find it, then they will try to tear off three skins from you for every little thing !!! They even tried to take money for a bathrobe, I had to take it from the room.
In general, I liked the rest, despite some disadvantages of the hotel. Still, it is very important with what mood you are going to rest, and Greece itself is always very happy!!! Therefore, I highly advise you to go, the hotel is inexpensive and quite pleasant! Have a good rest!
