We rode around Belarus for ten days, in our own car. During this time, only twice stayed in hotels. It was the end of August, we were lucky with the weather - 90% of the days were sunny. Some places were right away, but others created difficulties for us. Most of our parking lots were near major cities(within 30-40 km) or attractions to reduce travel time. As a result, we publish a list of the most successful places to stop with tents for travelers in Belarus:
1. Not far from Vitebsk.
Lake Losvido.
We went there immediately after crossing the Russia-Belarus border. Initially, we noticed the Losvido campsite for ourselves, just in case. On the map, you can navigate to it. We drove by, they broke the price of 25 Belarusian rubles (800 of ours, Russian) there. It seemed to us unrealistically overpriced, we drove further along the path leading into the forest. And they did not lose, in a few minutes she led us to a pine grove on the lake. The approach to the water is good, it is very convenient to set up a tent. One of the best places.
2. Not far from Mogilev.
Rudea river.
Here we were looking for a place for about half an hour. At first we drove through the village of Antonovka, but there was no suitable place there - the entire coast was overgrown with reeds. As a result, having turned a little, we stopped not far from Priozernaya Street, leading to the village of the same name - Priozerny. There are several exits from the road. We were separated from the lake by trees, and although not so thick, but reeds. But the forest is pine, itβs convenient to put up a tent, although you canβt wash yourself in the morning.
3. Not far from Minsk.
There are not so many lakes near the capital, so the Mother Lake was immediately noticed on the map. It is small, so we traveled all over its coast and found the most convenient place for ourselves, opposite the beach. The lake is in close proximity to the villages, so during the day there are numerous vacationers. The coast is overgrown with shrubs, the approach is sandy. In August, a great view of the insanely starry sky opens up.
4. Not far from Minsk.
Camping "Cool place".
Here we stayed for two days. The place is picturesque, lake, pine forest. For 5 Belarusian rubles per day per person, you can put up a tent, park your car and use camping services: gas burner, toilet, shower (which, unfortunately, is cold in cool weather and with little pressure). Friendly hosts, cozy atmosphere.
5. Not far from Nesvizh.
Here they searched for a parking lot for quite a long time, since there are either no lakes in this area, or they are located in the fields. As a result, not far from Kletsk, on the Lan River, we found a free campsite. Nearby Railway, this is a small clearing among fields and forests. It was a little scary at night, there was no one around. Some small animals rustled in the bushes all night, but we found only a hedgehog. In general, the place is not bad, equipped with a picnic gazebo, barbecue, a place for a fire. Pretty nice during the day.
6. About 100 km from Brest.
Lake Selets
At first, we stopped at Lake Rudniki, but it turned out to be too steep and rather grassy approach to the water. The place is good for fishing (carp are found), but there is nowhere to put up a tent. A local fisherman told us to go to Lake Selets, which is 28 km away. We drove from the opposite side of the village of the same name, drove about 10 km on a gravel road. The place was found quickly, many approaches to the water, next to the road. Around the forest, at night they heard the roar of bears.
7. Not far from Grodno.
River Neman
You can drive to the widest point on the river through the village of Zagortsy. There are many parking places, but we chose the very first one. The approach to the water is good, there are no reeds, but the trees are rare - the area is blown. Many fishermen heard the splashing of fish all night long.

Camping "Cool place" is located in pine forest right on the banks of the Vileika reservoir. The camping area is more than 9 hectares, length coastline 1.5 km. Two years ago, "Cool place" began with several dozen pavilions and fire pits. Today there are heated houses, and bathrooms, and two baths (Russian and camp), and tents for big companies, and a kitchen, and even a petting zoo. And yet, the unconditional highlight of this campsite is a real Mongolian yurt: where else will unity with nature be as complete as not in the dwelling of nomads.
In addition to fishing and using standard sports grounds, guests of the Cool Place can compete in laser tag. In general, it turned out to be a very party place. Here, you donβt even have to cook on your own: food can be ordered at the nearby cafe βUkrainian Yardβ.
The camping area allows you to arrange tent city out of more than 2000 tents, so there is no need to book a place for a tent, but gazebos, sheds, houses and a yurt must be reserved in advance.

Authentic camping, equipped according to all European standards, is located in the Vileika district, on the banks of the Narochanka River, surrounded by deciduous and coniferous forests.
The total number of places in the campsite is 150 for tents and 50 for motorhomes. There are 7 pavilions on the territory that can accommodate from 10 to 150 people, places around the fire, barbecues, washstands, showers, a summer kitchen, the ability to refuel or drain water, connect to the power supply. Free parking for 100 cars.
Conditional comfort and a lot of impressions can be obtained from renting three historical "personalized" houses - "At Rygor", "At Sonya", "At Yuzuka". The latter, however, is suitable for living only in the summer. Actually, like the hayloft by the pond, it can also be rented.
The campsite is located next to the village-museum "Zabrodye", so those who wish can visit one of the three expositions: the World War I Museum, the Museum of Retrotechnics and the Museum of Life - and even ride on vintage cars or play Soviet machine guns.

Sports and children's playgrounds are equipped on the territory, a barbecue area is provided.

In fact, this is a very impressive complex with a hotel, cottages, a seasonal module and parking lots for tents and campers. So that each guest can choose the level of comfort he needs. And if the hotel and guest cottages have everything you need, then in the seasonal module the rooms are already simpler - instead of a shower, a washbasin, and food is offered to be cooked on fires.
But also on the most romantic transport of travelers - a trailer or a motor home. Campers from Sineokoy often celebrate, they say, the culture of caravanning in our country is still at the beginning of its journey. Nevertheless, there are suitable and equipped car camping sites in Belarus and many of them are located in very pleasant places. And if you donβt have a caravan or a motorhome yet, this is not a problem. Firstly, it can be rented if desired. And secondly, you can come to most of the locations on our list by ordinary car and stay in a tent or guest house. Start the engine!
Who are caravaners?
Travelers who prefer cozy campers to low-cost airlines, trains and buses are called caravaners. These people are like snails that carry their little dwelling everywhere with them. Caravanning is a whole travel philosophy, and in our country there is even a separate public association "Caravaners of Belarus". "Camping 1"

Distance from Minsk - 160 kmCamping on Lake Selyava is cool in that it is the only one equipped according to all European standards among its fellows in Belarus. In addition to cabins and tents, there is exactly what we need - as many as 50 places for motorhomes and caravans. In addition to standard features, such as toilets, showers, kitchens and all kinds of communications, the base has places to play volleyball and places for kids to climb. And even Wi-Fi works throughout the campsite (we hope you won't need it in such a picturesque location).
The area around did not let us down either - the campsite is located on the shore of Lake Selyava, with an area of ββββabout 1500 hectares. This is one of the largest reservoirs in the north-east of Belarus. Swimming here on a boat (and not only) is a sacred thing. By the way, the locals like to tell a legend that in August 1942 a bomber crashed in Selyava, which was transporting 4 tons of gold to England - an advance payment for Lend-Lease deliveries. So, if you're lucky, you'll also find a treasure!
Asking price: a place for a trailer or motorhome plus a place for a car plus accommodation for two people will cost BYN 20 per day. Children under 7 years old will be admitted free of charge.
Camping "Naroch"

Distance from Minsk - 150 kmRest on Naroch is a classic of the travel genre in Belarus. Here you can swim, fish, pick berries in the forest, and watch birds - everything is possible. national park"Narochansky" is not just beautiful place, but also one of the five specially protected natural objects of our country.
There is a huge recreation area on the territory of the park, where grannies go to improve their health, and young people to hang out in the fresh air. For now, the second is more relevant for us, so we immediately drive to the car camping. There is a hotel and residential houses for those who arrived in an ordinary passenger car, and a special parking lot is equipped for the happy owners of trailers. You can freely use here sockets, water, toilets and other vital necessary things. Places for motorhomes at the campsite are not booked in advance - although there are only 15 of them, there is always a free one.
Asking price: you will have to pay BYN 6 for a car seat, and another BYN 7 per person per day.
Camping in "Dudutki"

Distance from Minsk - 40 kmPerhaps this will be a revelation for you, but in "Dudutki" you can not only stare at the blacksmiths and drink the only legal moonshine in Belarus, but also stop to live in a trailer. There is an equipped parking lot where you can park your motorhome. All the necessary communications for car campers are available here, well, rest in Dudutki promises to be eventful: in addition to hiking in craft workshops, horseback riding and swimming in Ptchi, they will even melt a bathhouse on the river bank on the spot.
If you wish, you can stay in a hotel (from BYN 55 per day per room) or a guest house by the river (BYN 430 per day for the whole house). There are no problems with food either: the tavern, cafe and bar "Shinok" do everything to make guests satisfied.

As for car camping, here caravaners can easily place their motorhomes and connect them to all necessary communications. While the biocapsule is being cleaned, go to a bar or admire the picturesque hilly countryside of Belarusian Switzerland.

Camping "Prival"
Not far from the agro-town of Loshany, Minsk region, 6 km from the city of Zaslavl in the direction of the city of Molodechno (Route P28)

"Halt" is located, however, in a place for an amateur - on the Stalin Line. If you, like a true pacifist, don't consider tank riding to be fun - well, okay. It wonβt hurt to stop at a car camping, and itβs not necessary to enter the military complex.

Camping "Rybchino"

The coast here, although not sea, is long (1.5 kilometers), sandy and with a smooth entry into the water. And the Vileika reservoir itself is considered one of the cleanest in Belarus. You are allowed to stop at any place you like along the coastline, even with a motorhome, even with a tent (you can rent it on the spot if you wish). In "Rybchino" there is a bathhouse, and gazebos, and residential houses, and boats with catamarans. If you want to swing your racket, rent a tennis table or badminton. You can go to the toilet, wash in the shower and run around the sports and playgrounds for free.

Camping on the circuit "Alliance"

It may not be worth driving here on vacation purposefully, but as a transit point on the way to Europe (or from it) it is a very good place. A shower for 3 BYN will refresh tired travelers, sockets will not let you be left without electricity, and the guards will make sure that there are no excesses. There are also toilets on the territory, however, they work only in the warm season.
Not far from the autodrome there is a forest and a lake, and as an entertainment, you can drive go-karts or ATVs.

Camping in the farmstead "Kalinka-2"

There are two kitchens on the estate, good showers and clean toilets, and, of course, everything for evening gatherings - barbecues, gazebos, dishes and other important little things. Those who come by ordinary cars can spend the night in a nice guest house for BYN 30 per day.
