IN THE ESSENCE OF THE CONFLICT ITSELF: as a result of an internal investigation (interrogation of employees, other guests and viewing recordings from CCTV cameras), we concluded that the incident that happened to your son was RANDOM. During a paper disco, where Guest N. was with his child and scattered paper rain (like other participants in the disco, including your 4-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter), lifting him from the floor, he accidentally touched with the left hand of the boy standing behind - your son. Your son, apparently, also happened to be at this moment at a distance much closer than the outstretched hand of the guest. And since the boy was behind, Guest N. could not see him, and when he next scattered a bunch of rain, he touched your son's face tangentially into the nasolabial region. Due to the immediacy and insignificance of the incident, neither visible injuries were found on the boy, nor the reaction of nearby people, including the animators who held the disco. Everyone continued to dance on, and only your son, after a while, together with his sister, approached your husband with a complaint about what had happened. At this time, Guest N., not noticing that he hit your son, moved to another part of the Disco Hall, where he was in a group of his family and friends at the moment when you approached him with claims regarding the incident. Having not received satisfaction from Guest N., at ~22:30 you turned to the hotel reception with a demand to “deal with and punish” Guest N. Right after you contacted the desk, the security staff found out this situation by talking with Guest N. and understood that he was absolutely adequate, did not have any malicious intent and did not pose any threat to others. The fact of drinking alcohol by him, which you indicate in your appeal, was not established during the disco. In this regard, your ACCUSATION against the hotel in the UNSAFETY of children staying with us, IS UNFOUNDED. In your case, there was an accidental negligence that developed into a personal conflict, which often happens in any public place: mall, playground, theater, etc. And to shift the responsibility to the hotel staff in the face of animators or security guards is wrong. After all, if you or your husband, in addition to your 8-year-old daughter, were next to your son, in a circle dancing at a disco, then most likely you would not allow your 4-year-old child to be so close behind an adult person. As for your complaint about the lack of APOLOGIES from the hotel management, there could not have been any on the night of the incident, because I had to deal with the situation. The next Sunday morning, March 10, on the day of your departure, on behalf of the ADMINISTRATION, the head of the accommodation desk Maria Dikareva spoke to you, who expressed SORRY about what had happened and promised to look into the situation. But even then, on the day of departure, this communication did not satisfy you, because You insisted that the hotel "punish" Guest N. by "blacklisting" him and denying him further bookings. The administration refused to apply this "punishment". After an internal investigation, it became obvious that the employees were not at fault in this incident - they acted correctly and professionally. Without waiting for the hotel to fulfill your demand to “punish” guest N., you wrote such an unflattering review. We are very sorry that being a regular guest for 4 years and always positively evaluating your vacation, you decided to suspend good relations with the hotel on this occasion. We sincerely hope that time will pass and your resentment towards Guest N., which you transferred to the hotel, will also pass, and you will return with the whole family to the place where your children grew up and where you have such a good rest together. Accommodation at the Chaika Hotel was given to us as a gift when renewing a subscription to a fitness club (more on that later).

The hotel consists of 2 buildings, we lived in the central one, it is connected to fitness, no need to dress. I was given two double rooms with two children. The children were delighted with independence, and how I had a rest! Only my window overlooked the noisemakers from the pool, and they were quiet on the other side of the hotel.

I didn’t climb under the beds with white-gloved hands, it looks clean, freshly renovated, new bedding and towels. Shampoos, gels, soaps, shower caps, pens, sponges for shoes, we, like the poorest, took home, like for souvenirs ...

We checked in at 16-00, we were not supposed to have dinner as a gift, we ate at home, we took fruit and juice with us.

We liked breakfast and lunch. I don’t know what criteria they should meet, for me there is one indicator - it was delicious and a lot. For breakfast we took sausages, eggs, rice cakes, semolina, tea. We did not take steam vegetables, scrambled eggs, coffee, juices. For lunch, the children took 2 times chicken soup (they really liked it), super tasty meatballs, potatoes, fruits, cakes. They did not take fish, sausages, and much more. DID NOT GO! Cooked at home, no soviet canteen. Buffet.

If you want something different, there are several restaurants.

There is a bowling alley, but we were not there. The eldest daughter went there with a class “for a corporate party”, the students were delighted.

In summer, a small swimming pool and sunbeds are placed on the embankment.

The amount of oxygen in the air is BOOSTING! After a half-hour walk, my head is spinning and I want to sleep all the time. Very quiet and calm. On Fridays and Saturdays, weddings can often be seen on the lawn near the embankment.

Residents - mostly families with children, including those with babies, pensioners with grandchildren and without grandchildren, team athletes, companies coming to trainings / seminars.

You can go outside the hotel, near meadows, forests and Lake Glubinka, they go there to practice Nordic walking from the fitness club. You can cross (for a fee!) to the other side of the Oka for fishing / swimming in the Oka / visiting the Dudin Monastery.

There are children's animation. My children categorically do not like animators, so there is almost nothing to say. Some of my friends send their children on spring / autumn break to daycare groups. Children like it, parents are comfortable, but expensive.

Now about fitness.

Theater begins with a hanger, and fitness begins with a dressing room. Locker rooms are separate, male and female (otherwise we were in the Atoll water park - there is a common locker room, with changing cabins), the lockers are small. There are hair dryers near the mirrors. 2 towels are provided - large and small.

Hats are not required, but my kids do. Because they swim in glasses, and it’s easier to put them on a cap. Administrators ask for long hair to be pinned up or braided. There is no medical examination, certificates are not required.

The pool in Chaika is year-round, technological break-September. The water is NOT CHLORINATED!, but ozonated, which is important for me, because I do not tolerate chlorine. There are always few people, 10-15 people. It happens that 1-2 people in the evening (including me). There is a children's pool with warm chlorinated water for mothers with babies. It is also possible for children under 7, but they usually put on armlets / vests from the age of 5 and climb into the adult pool. The depth of an adult in the main zone and the water aerobics zone is about one and a half meters, there are deep places for lovers of diving. A panoramic window overlooking the river creates a special atmosphere.

The eldest daughter simply swims under water in goggles and fins, the youngest one collects a bunch of sports equipment and builds all kinds of floating structures:

Inventory is provided free of charge - swimming boards, fins, balls, water dumbbells, armlets, vests, belts and gloves for aqua aerobics.

There is a hammam, Finnish and infrared saunas, a pool with cold (chlorinated!) water. Everything is small, cozy, not particularly new, but clean enough. I always go to the hammam, I'm afraid in the infrared, it's suddenly harmful, and it's hot in the saunas.

There are several rooms for group classes. I tried Pilates and body stretch. I thought I was going to die and not live to see the end. No, just water aerobics! I can do all the exercises, I get tired, I crawl out of the pool, but I don’t die.

I really like that classes are held, even if 1 person came. I have often been like this. It turns out as if a personal lesson, only for free.

Drunk people are not allowed into fitness, for 2 years 3 times I came across visitors with fume exhaust, and then in a hammam.

There is a children's room, where she left the youngest a couple of times when she did not want to go to the pool, and there was no one to leave at home with.

Now about shortcomings. Basically, they are related to children's leisure.

1. There are no slides in the pool. They say that there used to be a slide, but because of the big injuries it was removed. Probably, you can still think of something to make it more interesting for children in the pool.
2. There are no animals, except for a gorgeous red cat at the checkpoint. The symbol of children's animation is a squirrel, its nuts are exchanged for prizes. We did not see a single squirrel on the territory, but we would very much like to. It would be possible to settle ducks or swans on the pond. I do not call for a zoo with wild animals, I myself am against cages, but tame birds and squirrels can definitely be organized.

3. Mothers with sons aged 5-6 face the problem of visiting the locker room. Even if a mother is not shy about her 6-year-old son and calmly undresses in front of him, girls of 6-10 years old feel very uncomfortable. The shower has the same problem. It would be possible to somehow think over this question.

4. There are problems with parking (for members of the fitness club) when corporations run into trainings.

5. It happens (rarely) that the pool is unexpectedly closed "for prevention" for 1 day. These surprises suspiciously coincide with the arrival of celebrities of an all-Russian scale. Like a concert, so in "The Seagull" prevention.

I summarize: if you are looking for a place to sleep off, take a break from the hustle and bustle, come to your senses, be with your children, come.

For non-residents without a car: a taxi to the city costs from 100 rubles, in Dzerzhinsk there is 1 cinema (in the Royal shopping center), 1 local history museum, 1 city park with attractions (old and creaky) and a small zoo (with a contact area). You can take a train (30-50 minutes) or a bus (50-60) minutes to get to Nizhny Novgorod(30 km).

"Seagull" in winter is no less interesting than in summer. We come with our own tubing, but for visitors there are tubing rentals, skis, skates (the skating rink is flooded).
