Summer is a traditional time for trips to nature, and, of course, barbecues. For those who do not want to go far from the city, the Localway editors have collected options for where to have a picnic in Moscow without leaving the Moscow Ring Road. In addition, you can organize a tour of the old noble estates, admire the cherry blossoms or go to the planetarium - and all this without leaving the city parks.

Park, Landmark, Landscape view

The biggest and most old park downtown. Here you can walk all day - on Sparrow Hills there are more green spaces, narrow paths, streams, closer to Gorky Park - a beautiful, overgrown Catherine's pond, the Moscow River, the statue "Bather" and other monuments of park architecture.

Going down to Neskuchny Garden, you can rent a bike or a scooter and drive to the end of Gorky Park (to the entrance from Leninsky Prospekt), where there are ping-pong tables and a chess club gathers. In the evenings, the park teaches you how to dance the hustle for free. Very soon, as soon as it gets warm, the beach will open: you can’t swim, but you can sunbathe. On a special wooden deck there are sun loungers for rent.

Barbecue is better to arrange on Andreevskaya embankment, there are 4 free picnic points. Nearby is a rental point where you can take a barbecue, coal, lighter fluid and skewers. True, there are often queues here for those who want to dine in nature, but you can always grab a basket of ready-made food from home and organize a picnic near the Golitsyn pond, where there are free wooden sunbeds, or on the green slopes of the Neskuchny Garden overlooking the Moscow River.

One of the parks most beloved by Muscovites in the south of Moscow with the palace complex of Catherine II, openwork bridges, ponds with swans and ducks.

On a sunny day, one can easily understand the empress, who, passing through these places in 1775, was so fascinated by the local landscapes that she immediately bought this land and ordered her residence to be built here. Beautiful, wide ponds, which later received the name Tsaritsynsky, stretched for 8 kilometers. You can admire Grand Palace, which Vasily Bazhenov began to build, and finished by Matvey Kazakov, because. The empress did not like the original version. The building was almost destroyed and rebuilt only in 2007. But there are also historical objects - Bazhenov's Bread House and several pavilions of his own authorship.

There are no picnic spots in the park, so you can grab a basket with all sorts of goodies and have lunch right on the shore of the pond, admiring the graceful swans and feeding the ducks.

Look at the relic oaks, which are 500-600 years old, admire the monuments of wooden architecture collected from all over Russia, or see the old churches - the Kazan Mother of God, built in the 18th century, or the Ascension, which is said to have been built in honor of the birth of the long-awaited heir to the Grand Duke - the future Tsar Ivan the Terrible.

The gardens of Kolomenskoye are known among Muscovites for the fact that in spring they have the most beautiful flowering alleys, and nowhere else in the city can one see such orderly rows of cherries or apple trees. Since the 18th century, pears, plums, red currants, gooseberries and raspberries have been grown here for the royal family. Three out of six gardens have survived to this day - Kazansky, Dyakovsky and Voznesensky, the first two of them are located on the same squares where they were founded.

There are no picnic areas in the museum-reserve itself, but there are nearby - on the Kolomenskaya embankment. This is a cozy gazebo with a barbecue, tables and benches - for about 30 people.

The history of this park began in the 18th century, when the Naryshkins began to build their estate here. To our days, not only the building of the former owners of Filey has survived, but not the majestic alleys, one of them bears the name of Turgenev, who described these places in the novel “On the Eve”.

In general, this territory was honored with a visit not only by the famous writer, but also by royal persons. At various times, the Naryshkin estate was visited by Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, Empress Catherine II, King of Prussia Friedrich-Wilhelm III.

Now in the park you can not only walk along the alleys and see the estate, but also sit on the beach with sunbeds and pools on pontoons, go through a game-quest to know the territory, and even dance and practice yoga. One of the largest parks in Moscow, covering 1534 hectares. Here you can walk not only along concrete paths or sit on benches along the pond: if you go a little deeper, you will find yourself almost in a real forest, you will come out to a small Serebryanka river or an apiary built more than 150 years ago.

In fact, the park consists of two parts: Izmailovsky park culture and recreation with numerous attractions, and the Izmailovsky Forest Park, which are separated by the Main Alley. In general, there are a lot of ponds, rivers and streams in the park, the largest and most beautiful is Lebedyansky Pond.

On such a huge space, of course, there was a place for those wishing to have a picnic. In total, the park has 9 free barbecues with tables, awnings and benches.

How to feel like a resident of New York without leaving Moscow? Go to the Biryulevsky arboretum, where you can not only have a barbecue, but also enjoy the view of cherry blossoms. This is one of the few places in the capital where delicate trees have taken root and have been delighting local residents with their beauty for several seasons in a row.

In addition, here you can find an incredible number of trees, shrubs and flowers. Experts say that according to this parameter, the park is in second place in the city after botanical garden Moscow State University. Previously, there was a forest here, and only in the middle of the 20th century was an arboretum founded.

Barbecue lovers are waiting for 7 points set aside specifically for this purpose. Each is designed for a maximum of 8-10 people, everywhere there are barbecues, tables and awnings. The park on an island in the west of Moscow is known among Muscovites as one of the few places where you can not only sunbathe, but also swim. For now beach season is not open, you can wander through the relic pine forest and breathe in the amazing coniferous air, sit on the banks of the Moscow River or the picturesque Bottomless Lake and just realize that you, being in a metropolis, have the opportunity to be in unity with nature.

In addition to being one of the most environmentally friendly places in Moscow, here in clear weather you can observe an interesting phenomenon - at dawn, pine trees glisten like polished silver dishes. Previously, there were even special excursions to admire the beautiful sight, now it is seen less and less due to the smoke in the air.

Here you can also have a picnic, there are 25 free points on the territory. One of the most popular is on the shore of the lake, but, of course, you will have to queue for the barbecue from the very morning. There are also paid places designed only for big companies. Renting a separate gazebo for 15 people will cost from 12,000 thousand rubles.

Park, Museum, Horse riding

The largest forest on the territory of Moscow is rightfully proud of the fact that all the landscapes of Central Russia are represented here in miniature. And walking along the paths, you can see spotted deer, hares, foxes, wild boars and, of course, moose.

But meeting wild animals is not so easy: as expected, they are quite shy and are unlikely to come close to a person. But at the elk biostation, which is located near the ranger site, you can not only see elk up close, but also treat them to apples and even stroke them.

We also recommend going to the Old Russian Hunting Museum, which is located on the territory of the park. Here they will talk about how this hobby originated and evolved in Russia, they will introduce you to various types of hunting: falconry, canine, animal. There was a museum in this place for a reason: before the forest was a favorite place for royal hunting. Special lectures and excursions around Losiny Ostrov are held for schoolchildren in the children's environmental education center "Red Pine". Information about special holidays and events often appears on the site: this year we have already celebrated Bird Day and the March of Parks.

There are places for barbecue here, but only paid. Barbecues and tables are installed on the territory of the visitor centers "Red Pine" and "Russian Life".

The park

A large but cozy park in the North-West of Moscow, where you can spend the whole day: walking, cycling, treating beavers with apples, sunbathing on the beach, and, of course, having an outdoor barbecue.

This is the only place in the city where there is a clean source of drinking water. locals, who come here every weekend and collect from the spring for the future, they say that you can’t find tastier water. Here, in the Khimka River, you can see beavers in their natural habitat. It is not known exactly how these fluffy rodents got into the park, because these are not ordinary beavers, but Canadian ones, but they have successfully adapted to local conditions, built a hut and several times a day arrange performances in exchange for apples and slices of bread. You can also take a walk to the old noble estate of the Streshnevs, built in the 18th century. Now, unfortunately, it is abandoned and not being restored, but it still represents one of the most beautiful buildings in the city in the classic style.

It has its own beach, you can’t swim, but you can sunbathe on the shore, however, they don’t give sunbeds for rent, so you should stock up on a beach mat.

As for the barbecue, the park has several free areas with barbecues, tables and benches, you need to take coal with you.

If you don’t want to go far from the center, and Sparrow Hills and Gorky Park have already been explored, you can’t think of a better place than Catherine’s Park. Quiet, small and cozy corner of Moscow between Soviet Army Street, Olympic Avenue and Suvorovskaya Square.

Here, taking a basket with ready-made food and a blanket from home, you can have a picnic on the grass (unfortunately, there are no equipped picnic areas in the park). On a calm, beautiful pond, you can ride a boat, which is rented here. Hidden in the depths of the park is a small building with a round roof - this is a planetarium built in 1958. Excursions and classes are still held here, and anyone can look at the starry sky, comets, meteor showers, solar and lunar eclipses and other celestial phenomena on the dome of the star hall. Other attractions in the park include a shooting range and tennis courts. Usually, from the beginning of May, a summer stage begins to work, where all lovers of dancing gather.

The park

The largest park in Moscow after Losiny Island is Bitsevsky Forest. Here you can not only walk the endless paths all day, but also arrange an excursion into the past, because the history of this place began in the 13th century, and many traces of past times are still kept here.

The first settlers on this land were the Finno-Ugric tribes, then came the Slavs-Vyatichi, who left behind the burial mounds of the XII-XIII centuries, which can still be seen today. In total, there are about 70 such mounds in Moscow, 7 of which are located in Bitsevsky Park.

Architecture lovers can look at palace and park ensembles noble estates of the XVIII-XIX centuries: Znamenskoye-Sadki, Yasenevo and Uzkoye. Each of them is not only a vivid example of Russian architecture, but also conceals interesting story its owners: for example, "Yasenevo" belonged to the boyars Lopukhins, from whose family came Evdokia Fedorovna - Peter's first wife. The Uzkoye estate was owned by the Streshnevs, then by the princes Golitsyns, and at the end of the 18th century the estate belonged to the Tolstoys. The name of the Znamensky-Sadki Palace is associated with Kheraskov, a Russian poet, author of the heroic epic Rossiniada. In the first half of the 19th century, Pushkin, Gogol and Griboyedov visited the estate.

On the territory of the park you can also admire live pheasants and an exposition of rare plant species. And, of course, tired of long walks, an excellent solution would be to organize a barbecue: there are 9 free barbecues in the park. On the territory of the Oxygen sports park, you can pre-book a place with all the equipment, the price varies from 1,500 to 3,000 rubles, depending on the place and time (minimum rental time is 3 hours).

The park

Moskvoretsky is one of the most beautiful parks in the west and northwest. It occupies an undeveloped area along the Moskva River, from where a wonderful view of the city, located on the other bank, opens up.

Top 10 Picnic Spots

1. Barbecue in the Medvedkovsky Forest Park

Excellent picnic spots are within walking distance from the Moscow metro station of the same name. The territory of the Medvedkovsky forest park will amaze you with its cleanliness and well-groomedness. There are no fetid heaps of garbage and "remnants of luxury" from past lovers of outdoor recreation. Almost every bush is regularly cleaned by citizens of unknown nationalities, in orange capes.

Places for barbecue are well equipped. In the forest park you will find many wooden arbors with comfortable large tables and benches on both sides. In each such gazebo, a simple barbecue is installed and, of course, a trash can, which is a special convenience, both when cooking meat itself and when it is used directly. Likewise, lovers a relaxing holiday the resting contingent, consisting mainly of young families and couples of advanced age, will also please. In addition to this, grocery stores are located very close to the park, which will be very useful if you do not want to drag “everything for barbecue” from home, or decide to amuse your holiday with an “unplanned addition”.

How to get to the Medvedkovsky forest park

As mentioned earlier, the park is a 15-minute walk from the Medvedkovo metro station. Leaving the lobby, go straight ahead and cross carriageway. Then we pass along Studeny proezd, to the bus roundabout. Voila, we are there. It remains only to wander a little along the well-groomed paths, and pick up a gazebo "to your taste." I advise you to come to the forest park in the morning, since, it is logical that the number of cozy gazebos is limited, and they may simply not be enough for everyone.

2. Barbecue in Altufyevo

This forest park is good because it has a vast reservoir, which gives the picnic even more romance and freshness. Dense thickets of the forest hide small cleared clearings with fallen trees and fire pits for seating. Unlike Medvedkovo, everything here is not so perfectly clean and equipped. But this fact not only scares away, but attracts, lovers of shish kebabs "on wild nature". Mostly in the Altufevsky Forest Park, companies of young people and girls spend their leisure time, and more “calm people” prefer to just walk and go jogging here. So, if you are a fan of guitar songs and noisy cheerful companies, then this place definitely deserves your attention.

How to get to Altufevsky Forest Park

In principle, it is not difficult at all. At the metro station Altufyevo, we take buses No. 282, No. 606, No. 290 or No. 815 following in the direction of the final stop "Korneychuk Street". 10 minutes drive and we are there. From the tiny Melikhovskaya street, which borders on Korneichuk street, to the forest park - "within a stone's throw". Just like in Medvedkovo, on the way "to nature" you can look into one of the many grocery stores.

3. "Left Bank"

For quite a long time, "Left Bank" has been one of the main "barbecue" places for residents of the Northern District of Moscow and the Moscow region closest to it. Such "popular love" could not but have a detrimental effect on the environment. woodland with the adjacent waters of the Moscow Canal. Although the forest and coastal areas of the "Left Bank" are periodically cleared, it seems that heaps of garbage here are an integral part of the overall landscape. More or less well-groomed places can be found on the steep slopes of the coast, where it is simply inconvenient to “cover a clearing” and put a barbecue. As an exception from the general picture of this place, you can put the coastal part located closer to the Leningrad highway and Coastal passage. It is always not crowded here, and compared to the main “Left Bank”, it is quite clean. However, getting here is a little more difficult, and ideally, use a personal vehicle equipped with a navigation system.

How to get to the Left Bank

Compared to previous places for barbecue, the path to the "Left Bank" is more difficult. From the Petrovsko-Razumovskaya metro station, you need to drive five stops by train towards the region, to the Levoberezhnaya station. Travel time will be about half an hour. In general, when you see that the sinister Khovrinskaya abandoned hospital is looking through the windows of the train, collect your “suitcases” and start slowly moving towards the exit. Although the platform is surrounded by a forest, you can easily find out where you need to go, because the widely trodden path to the "Left Bank", in my opinion, "does not overgrow" all year round. 10-15 minutes walk through the forest and you are there.

4. Places for barbecue in Tsaritsino

Official places for barbecues in this area of Moscow can be found on the territory of the Biryulyovo arboretum. It is worth noting that Biryulevsky Park is not as advertised in the media as other resting places that are in many ways inferior to it. But this park takes an honorable second place in the number of unique species of trees and shrubs, after the famous Botanical Garden. On its most beautiful and cleanest territory there are about ten equipped places for barbecue, which will please their guests with the presence of barbecues and gazebos with benches. Such a small number of equipped places is explained quite simply - there are not many “guests” in Biryulevsky Park, and if your desire is a quiet and measured rest, on the bank of a small river Yazvenka, then you are here.

How to get to Biryulevsky Park

From the metro station Tsaritsino, you can take bus number 761 or fixed-route taxi, following the route of the same name, to the stop "st. Lipetsk. Further, 5 minutes walk in the direction of green spaces, and the entrance to Biryulevsky Park opens in front of us.

5. Serebryany Bor

Undoubtedly and unconditionally - the most popular place for picnics in all of Moscow. Favorite places for shish kebabs are traditionally located near the shores of the "Bottomless Lake". Well, everything is perfect here! And excellent gazebos, and comfortable benches, and most importantly - polished barbecues. Amazing and beautiful views of these places. In short, the organization is a solid plus. However, there is also a huge downside! On weekends, it is so crowded here that Serebryany Bor rather resembles not a park, but some small overpopulated country, like the Republic of Kazantip, for example. It is almost impossible to take your “place in the sun” on such days! And yet, not to mention this significant, in all respects, place for barbecue, we simply have no right.

How to get to Serebryany Bor

The nearest metro station to Serebryany Bor is Polezhaevskaya station. From it, we follow on trolleybuses No. 20, No. 21 or No. 65, to the final stop "Serebryany Bor".

6. Andreevsky Ponds

Barbecue places are also equipped on the Andreevsky Ponds of the Sparrow Hills. On the "ecological path" there are gazebos with barbecue facilities and garbage bins. Just like in Serebreny Bor, picnics here are extremely popular among Muscovites and guests of the capital.

To take a vacant place, you have to get up early in the morning and come to Sparrow Hills by the first transport! A very convenient factor of this place was that literally a stone's throw from it there is a huge store with everything you need for a picnic. Andreevsky Ponds, no matter how sad it may be, are not suitable for recreation for people who prefer to “warm up the soil for barbecue” alcoholic drinks. Every now and then, on the horizon one can see “still police caps”, which at any moment are ready to interrupt such a vacation by drawing up an administrative protocol, for drinking alcohol in public place. Well, from the minuses and all. In all other respects, everything is exceptionally "excellent".

How to get to Andreevsky Ponds

Well, here, there is nowhere easier. You have only a five-minute walk from the Vorobyovy Gory metro station.

7. Kebabs in Kuzminki

This is where the real expanse for lovers of picnics "in nature"! . .

On a vast territory near the local pond, numerous sheds with barbecues are widely spread, which form a kind of symbiosis of vacationers "barbecue". Despite the large number of places, it is very quiet and calm here ... The sun, air and water ... Well, what else do you need? But even in this paradise there are "pitfalls". These places are simply saturated with commerce, in all its manifestations. Best Places closed on order! The prices in the nearby tents are unbelievably high! All this "steals" the feeling of real outdoor recreation! But, despite this, the place is extremely popular among those who have been accustomed to such mutually beneficial commercial conditions since childhood. Sadly.

How to get to "commercial" picnics

From the Kuzminki metro station, you can only get to the places of rest on foot. The path to the ponds will take about 15-20 minutes at a leisurely pace.

8. Zelenogradsky park

Zelenograd… Nature still untouched by the capital… On the banks of the Skhodnya River, there are several wonderful places suitable for both barbecue and simple picnics in the fresh air. Absolutely opposite place to the aforementioned Kuzminki. Perhaps the infrastructure here is not developed, but there is beautiful nature and barbecue! That's all a true romance needs!

How to get to Zelenogradsky park

Everything is not as difficult as it might seem at first glance. From the metro station Rechnoy Vokzal, we follow the bus number 400K to the stop "Solnechnaya Alley". 10 minutes walk and we are there.

9. Barbecue in Troparevo

Barbecue places in Troparevo are like two drops of water similar to the same places in Medvedkovo, which we already know. Also, a very well-groomed territory, as well as a very pleasant contingent, the same comfortable sheds with tables, benches, barbecues and trash cans. Great place in every way…

How to get to Troparevo

From the metro station Yugo-Zapadnaya, we follow on foot along Vernadsky and Troparevskaya streets. After 15 minutes of pleasant waiting, we hit exactly the forested area.

10. Bitsevsky Park

With your permission, let's move away from the topic of barbecue for a while. As Saltychikha glorified the estate in Troitskoye in its time, so even today, this park glorified the sensational "Bitsevsky maniac" Alexander Pichushkin, who committed 48 proven murders, and was detained in June 2006. But, despite the "notoriety" of the park, places for barbecue here are incredibly popular. In the warm season, kebabs in Bitsa are fried, as they say "on every corner", although there are plenty of specially equipped places for this, with gazebos and barbecues. For such a popular place, Bitsevsky Park looks quite noble and clean. With regret, it can be noted that the park is already very much chosen by persons without a fixed place of residence and lovers of “laid by the collar”. This, of course, is its biggest drawback. So, for decent gatherings, or a rendezvous, the place is not very suitable, but for a wild bachelor party with a barbecue - that's it. Only one conclusion suggests itself - "there are no comrades for the taste and color."

And finally, a couple useful tips, which will help you avoid getting into unpleasant situations with representatives of law enforcement agencies.

  1. According to the law, in the city limits, open fire, which includes both bonfires and barbecues, is allowed to be lit at a distance of at least 50 meters from residential buildings and government institutions. So, judge for yourself, it is almost impossible to find such places in Moscow.
  2. Barbecue frying should be carried out only on coals, and in a brazier, the height of which must exceed 30 centimeters.
  3. Dumping of burnt coals is equated to dumping garbage in an unspecified place and is punishable by an administrative fine.
  4. Also, under the threat of not only one's health, but also the same fine, it is forbidden to drink alcoholic products in a public place, and as a result of drinking, to be in these places in a state of extreme intoxication.

So, rest is rest, and warnings have never been superfluous. . . Take care of yourself and enjoy your summer picnics in nature.

How the townspeople are drawn to traditional spring barbecues. The annual kebab season usually begins in mid-April, and on the May holidays it reaches such a scale that over the parks of the capital on weekends there is a persistent aroma of kebab smoke.

There is one problem: there are not so many free equipped sites where you can fry a barbecue, in terms of per capita. And in the season you need to know where to go in order to take a good clearing and successfully park your car. Therefore, MIR 24 publishes a list of equipped picnic areas within the city and very close to it. Choose the one closest to the house, and go for reconnaissance, because not everything has thawed and dried out yet:

What you need to know when going barbecue

In Moscow parks, forest parks and natural reserves, about 300 picnic spots are equipped with tables, benches, and in some places with stationary barbecue grills. Them full list can be found on the website of the Department of Natural Resources. Barbecue with your barbecue outside these areas is prohibited.

On equipped sites, you must follow a few simple rules. You can fry meat here only on coals, without making an open fire, and even more so bonfires. The height of the brazier must be at least 30 centimeters so as not to damage the roots of plants. And the pleasures accompanying barbecues in the form of drinking alcohol are officially and completely prohibited, because all parks are considered public places.

If you are going to fry a barbecue on the grill outside the picnic area, for example, climbing deep into the forest, then you will face a fine for making a fire or using a barbecue in the wrong place - five thousand rubles.

And this is unless other troubles happen: illegal deforestation, littering of the territory or a fire. In all these cases, the case may end, depending on the damage done, with a fine of up to two hundred thousand rubles, or even with the institution of a criminal case. So it's better not to risk it.

Central administrative district

Of course, it is most difficult to find barbecue places in the city center. But even there they are! Barbecue can be fried in the nature reserve "Vorobyovy Gory" located on the high right bank of the Luzhnetskaya bend of the Moscow River. There are barbecue areas ecological trail and at Andreevsky Ponds. Unfortunately, in good weather, almost all places are busy even on weekdays, since these sites are located within walking distance from the metro and the Auchan hypermarket, where it is easy to buy everything you need for a picnic, including marinated meat.

In the vast territories of the Park. Picnics can also be held in the Gorky and Neskuchny Gardens, but only without barbecues, bringing everything with you or ordering food in neighboring restaurants, which are in abundance there. To May holidays hammocks, air mattresses and deck chairs will appear on the green lawns. Of the indisputable advantages, it can be noted that it is very clean and there is always a place for everyone.

West of Moscow

Serebryany Bor Most picnic areas in Serebryany Bor. There are only about 20 free barbecue points, plus 10 VIP gazebos that can be rented for a small corporate party or birthday.

All barbecue points are located on the banks of the Moscow River and the Bottomless Lake. They are equipped with benches, tables, barbecues and are separated from the rest of the park by a fence.

Troparevsky park

In Troparevsky Park you can go to barbecue with your barbecue or use a specially equipped area. There are 20 picnic spots in total, and they are located at 8 addresses, which can be specified on the park's website. Each of these clearings is equipped with a brazier, an urn, a table and benches. Nearby there is sand beach, free toilets and a pond for fishing enthusiasts where you can rent a boat. Minus - the park is only open until 9 pm.

Natural and historical park "Moskvoretsky"

Moskvoretsky Park is not only a place for a picnic in Moscow, but also an opportunity to listen to birdsong, walk on the grass, breathe in the fragrant forest air and see squirrels, hedgehogs and even hares.

Nature Reserve "Valley of the Setun River"

The natural reserve "Valley of the Setun River" stretches along the riverbed and covers an area of almost 700 hectares. On the territory of the reserve there are three old manor parks: the Troyekurovo estate, Spasskoye on Setun, Troitse-Golenishchevo. Civilization in the form of manicured lawns and solar-powered lanterns coexists with untouched, albeit slightly littered, nature. In several places of the reserve there are picnic areas equipped with benches and tables, but there are not many of them. Barbecues and garbage bags should be taken with you.

Northwest of Moscow

Strogino

The Stroginsky floodplain, which is also called the Stroginsky backwater or the Stroginsky Bay, is the right bank of the Moskva River Bay. A green zone, where in spring and summer a lot of citizens spend their free time lying on the beach or walking with children on playgrounds, fishing and boating. There are only five equipped picnic areas there: three barbecue points on the Cape of Chisty Bay, and two - in the area of house number 1 on Odintsovskaya Street.

The natural park is located on the very outskirts of Moscow. It is stretched along the left bank of the Skhodnya River. Meadows are replaced by mixed forests and copses there, there are small swamps, 70 species of plants listed in the Red Book grow, and a population of wild orchids.

There are four picnic areas on the territory of the park: one in the Birch Grove, two in the Zakharyinskaya floodplain and one more in the microdistrict No. 11 of the park. The playgrounds are equipped with barbecues, benches and bins.

North of Moscow

Natural and historical park "Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo"

Most of the parks where you can make barbecue in Moscow within the law are located in the north of the city. There are vast territories of the Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo natural and historical park. There are equipped barbecue places in the All Saints Grove and the Shchukinsky Forest Park, as well as in the park along Angarskaya Street and the park near the Dzhamgarovsky Pond. There is also one picnic area in the landscape reserve Lianozovsky.

Fili Park

The Fili park resembles a fairy-tale protected forest. It is clean and secluded there: one of the most beautiful and comfortable places in the north of Moscow for recreation and sports. Barbecue areas are truly heroic: chic wooden tables with huge benches are installed there, cast-iron braziers are dug into the ground. There are trash cans.

Khimki Forest Park

There are many squirrels in the Khimki forest park. They are fed here and they are almost tame: very trusting and contact. Grab some treats for them and you might be able to hand feed them. There are more than ten picnic areas in Lesopark near Levoberezhnaya and Dybenko streets. There are braziers, and they are deep, so you need to take a lot of coal - 5-7 kg. But a lot of meat will be fried on them.

Northeastern Administrative District

Park "Otrada"

"Otrada" - a park in the floodplain of the Likhoborka River in the Otradnoye district, next to Altufevskoye Highway. It stretches as far as the Vladykinsky metro bridge and is very popular among residents of nearby areas. There are several sites with wooden gazebos, equipped with benches, tables and barbecues.

Timiryazevsky park

Picnic areas in Timiryazevsky Park are equipped with tables and benches. Barbecues need to be carried with you. The park itself is a real forest, a deserted, wild and charming place. There is interesting flora and many secluded places. The park has several entrances and exits, the most convenient entrance to the picnic area is from Pasechnaya Street.

Park at the Bolshoy Perovsky Pond

The park at the intersection of Perovskaya and Kuskovskaya streets is being improved anew. Here new trees will be planted and lawns will be laid out, paths, ramps and recreation areas will be made. Picnic spots are still in place, but it is not known whether they will fit into the updated landscape.

Natural and historical park "Izmailovo"

The Izmailovsky forest has been cleaned and cultivated in recent years. It is famous for its old broad-leaved forests - linden groves and oak forests, ponds and quiet alleys with benches and playgrounds. There are 15 picnic spots in Izmailovo. They are located in the Terletsky Forest Park at the corner of Metallurgov Street and Terletsky Proyezd, along the Main Alley on the banks of the Deer Pond, as well as along 16th Parkovaya Street (between Izmailovsky Boulevard and Pervomaiskaya Street) and along Chechulin Street. All picnic spots have barbecues and large oak tables with benches.

Park "Kuzminki"

There are three picnic towns in the Kuzminki park. Signs and information boards lead to them. They are equipped with long wooden tables, durable benches and benches, awnings. Nearby there are convincingly sized barbecue grills, garbage containers, barrels for used coals.

Since last season, there is a service for money: you can order everything you need for a chosen clearing by a certain hour: awnings, tables, chairs, barbecue, skewers.

Natural and historical park "Kosinsky"

In the natural and historical park "Kosinsky" there are picnic areas on the outskirts of the forest on the left bank of the Rudnevka River. One is located closer to the village of Rudnevo, the second - to Lukhmanovskaya street; another picnic spot is located on the southwestern shore of Lake Beloe. Picnic spots are designed for large companies and are equipped with benches, barbecues and trash cans. There are also picnic areas on the shores of the most beautiful lakes of glacial origin located in the park. True, there are only three of them, and the place is popular, so the competition on the weekend is quite high.

South and southwest of Moscow

Arboretum "Biryulevsky"

In the estate of Tsaritsyno, which is part of the territory of the arboretum, there are, of course, no places for picnics. Not at the very palaces to make them! But you can walk to the picnic areas in the depths of the arboretum. There are paid free seats, equipped for picnics: a table and benches under the roof, barbecue facilities. There are only 8 free picnic sites in the entire park, so on weekends you need to take a place early. The park has playgrounds for children and real sakura is about to bloom.

Bitsevsky forest There are three places where you can make barbecue in Bitsevsky forest. They are located at the intersection of Golubinskaya and Inessa Armand streets. As a cultural program, you can see the Boyar House, the noble estate and the burial mounds of the Vyatichi people of the 11th-13th centuries.

If you want to have a guaranteed free place for a barbecue picnic at the peak of the weekend, it’s better to take care of it in advance: Muscovites occupy most of the convenient places already from eight in the morning!
