  • Extras: Stories of Car Owners.

Having decided one day to make a trip by car with his parents, it was decided to visit the European capital of beauty and fashion, love and romance - the legendary Paris. The path was not easy - 3000 km: Donetsk - Paris.

Transfer points were planned in Poland, Hungary and Germany. Despite the fact that there were two drivers among us, we really wanted to relax and admire the sights of the countries passing by us.

We flew to Stockholm in a large group. An ordinary passenger car would not have fit, therefore, in order to get to the final destination, the polar towns of Piteå and Luleå, it was necessary to rent a minibus. There are several car rental points at Arlando Airport, but the car with the required passenger capacity was not available.

I had to turn to the Swedish comrades. They helped and booked a Renault rental for us for 270 euros per day. Compared to the price lists of other companies, it is relatively inexpensive, especially since we paid the bill together. Each of the 9 people in our company had to pay 1200 SEK for four days of rent, which is equal to 120 euros.

Every year, at the end of summer, the whole family rushes to the shrines of the Kaluga land. But now the children have grown up, the youngest is studying at a medical university, so the crew of our car has decreased. But the day of launch has come.

Photo #1. In the evening we met, we decided not to leave early. We drive our route for 2 days. We always visit the city of Zadonsk. Here is one of the most sacred places in the Lipetsk region. The Monastery of Tikhon of Zadonsk is probably known to every believer. So we leave at 8 am.

Now it's time for the chicks to fly out of the nest. This year, the daughter graduated from high school and successfully entered the Volgograd Medical University. It was necessary to urgently take the documents to the admissions office, and we went on our first trip to the city - the hero of Volgograd.

The distance according to the navigator is 547 km. After looking at the information about the quality of roads and traffic jams, we decide to leave early in the morning. Our task is to be in time before 15-00. At our beloved Gazprom, we fill in the 95th gasoline, under the cork, and at 8 in the morning we set off. The road to the village of Chaltyr is easy. The trail is single lane, but wide. We move with the maximum - permissible speed of 109 km / h.

Auto Travel September 14, 2015

Introduction: The main purpose of the trip was to capture three natural object: Lake Baskunchak, Mount Elbrus and the Terek River. Travel time: March.

The trip was born as an improvisation. One day, sitting at home, having dinner, suddenly an idea appeared: to go to Western Siberia. We quickly packed up and set off the next day. We didn’t even figure out how many thousands of kilometers we would have to go, along what routes. The most remarkable thing is that we didn’t even really understand the money, there was only enough money for one way. We walked at a speed of no more than 75, around the endless expanses that are monotonous and mesmerizing. The road is relatively good, but we could not solve the problem with an overnight stay, we spent the night right not far from the road. In Siberia, the issue of hotels and places for a snack is not thought out, you often have to get by with dry food, which is not good. After Moscow, I have never met any decent hotels. In the city itself, all cars are right-hand drive. There are hotels in the city, we found a decent motel, rested and slept. Already passed more than two thousand kilometers. We go to Barnaul, Altai is inhabited, there is civilization. Roads produce a pleasant experience

Traveling by car is always a celebration of freedom and the satisfaction of one's own curiosity. The trip from St. Petersburg to Berlin is only about seven thousand kilometers, so we went to long way. The first city was Vilnius. Highly beautiful city ishko, small, but devilishly cozy. I especially liked the narrow medieval streets. I recommend climbing all the same on the Tower of Gedemin, walking around Užupis. We stopped in Warsaw, the city is big, if not huge. I heard that during the war it was completely razed to the ground. Now the capital gloss is present, a beautiful city. Krakow is all pretentious, bohemian and sybaritic. We ate in one restaurant, they are fed to satiety in the literal sense of the word, and all this for some symbolic sums. Prague is absolutely unique. I fell in love with this city at first sight. The views from the site of St. Vitus Cathedral are expensive. We walked along the Vltava embankment, visited the famous Charles Bridge, drank local beer. Berlin and Saxon Swiss

The Kaluga land is full of holy places, it is really the heart of the Russian land, so every summer we visit the shrines. Until now, we continue to travel and discover something new. In the morning we start not too early and head for the city of Zadonsk, which is located in the Lipetsk region. The monastery of Tikhon of Zadonsk is a famous, prayerful place. The road to Shchepkin is of moderate severity. The segment is small, but we constantly go along deep ruts. Then the M-4 road begins, the federal highway is a rest, we fly like on wings. There are cameras everywhere, it’s better not to exceed the speed, because you will catch “letters of happiness” all over your head. Somehow I already had the pleasure of getting acquainted with these documents, there is no more reluctance. There are a lot of trucks, they significantly slow down the progress towards the goal. In Voronezh, the roads are good, we passed the city without long “relaxations” and no traffic jams were observed. In Zadonsk, they bathed in a holy spring, and set up a bivouac not far away. In Yakutia great amount amazing places to visit. But Nakhot is a completely exceptional settlement. Frosts in Yakutia of 40-50 degrees are commonplace and swimming in a hot spring in such weather is an exceptional pleasure. We live only three hundred kilometers from this point, and my wife and I decided to go. The frosts were about fifty, so we thoroughly prepared for the trip. They took a entrenching tool, fuel, a sapper shovel. I already know these places a little, I already had to travel along the local routes, plus the Internet helped, I read the reviews. In general, in a couple of weeks we thoroughly prepared, collected information and set off early in the morning. In Tynda, when the frost was leaving, it was 40 degrees. The road was normal, it was warm in the cabin, we had nowhere to hurry, so on the middle cruising speed set off. After more than a hundred kilometers, the village of Ienga met. The places here are sacred, very revered by local shamans. Stopped

Last year, I passed all the tests and exams, having received a document on higher education, I decided to present myself a vacation trip to Altai. My husband, mom and dad went with me. We loved all our lives as a family to often get out into Nature, so the “tent” lifestyle suited us quite well. For a week they studied possible routes, so to speak, the trajectory of the “optimal flight”. In the end, we stopped on a trip towards the southern border, where the famous "Martian Valley" is located. We calculated the trip for 10 days, the speed of movement was not important, because fabulous views and picturesque landscapes awaited us ahead. In the "5th gear" mode, it was not possible to get acquainted with these beauties. We bought all the necessary supplies and clean water, we decided to make dishes on fires, so they were overstocked accordingly, taking into account this genre. We were not going to go to a deserted region, interspersed with permafrost, settlements

In June 16, my brother had to go to the Krasnoyarsk Territory for work. And my sister also wanted to see the lakes of those places. An employee told her that she went there with her family, well, our madam wished))) Indeed, in Khakassia there are amazingly beautiful ponds with crystal clear water. But we were convinced of this later))) There were three of us. Bro went to work and my sister and I clung. Vanya had work for a couple of days, on Thursday and Friday, and we had a cultural rest at the weekend. We moved out of the city of Volzhsky at six in the evening, poured a tank of gasoline into our KIA in such a way that it would take ten liters per hundred square meters. So, along the way, there were many eateries, motels, we took with us everything we needed from the provisions, so as not to waste time on stops. Gas stations on the highway are also quite enough, we had enough fuel almost to Uzhur. The road is quite tolerable, somewhere old asphalt, somewhere new, only the place after Chebula was pretty problematic. Dirt road strewn

We want to tell you all about the wine paradise in the 4th Reich. In Belarus, they marinated us for only about 15 minutes, the Poles looked after us, fell close to our faces for about 40 minutes. They muttered something in their hissing language and nodded their heads. We already began to think that we had a lot of drugs in the car, as well as plutonium and red mercury, but, fortunately, we were not completely suspected. They let go with God, but without a smile. It was already quite dark when we got to the familiar hotel (this was already our 5th trip). It was raining, but it was warm, velvet season. I recommend the hotel "Fus" in Ozaruw Mazowiecki to everyone, this is the outskirts of the Polish capital. We decided to get enough sleep, there are many countries and hundreds of kilometers ahead, then, as he rests, he will work. Travel experience is already present, we know that prices in Germany are higher than in Poland. Therefore, we decided to purchase vacuum-packed products and all sorts of juices and water. There is also a subtlety that is worth knowing a little about. Gasoline on the autobahn itself in Germany is noticeably

The whole family decided to make a grandiose trip of three thousand miles to the banks of the Seine to beautiful Paris. Nodal points we noted are Poland, Hungary and Germany. There were two people behind the wheel. One of us was resting in the back seat, I sat as a navigator. The driver closed his eyes for just a couple of seconds ... We got into the bumper of the car in front of us. Minor damage, broken headlight and chewed bumper. Still, a bad aftertaste remains. In Poland, cars are removed from the scene, it is customary for us - on the contrary, to leave "everything as it is" in order to draw up a correct protocol. The police arrived. Made up papers. Then we went to the area where there was a ticket office. We paid the fine, the accident was our fault, there was no doubt about it. The issue price is only one hundred euros, all other expenses are the business of insurers. In the end, we reached the town, settled in a hotel, and had a little rest. Let's go for main square walk. Krakow a bit

We were more aware of the conquest of the moon than of Mongolia. All the winter months we studied the issue, looked at maps, photos, videos, etc. Gradually, the enthusiasm weakened, the people found various plausible reasons. In the end, out of 10 people, four "kamikaze" and two cars remained. They closed their ranks and decided: less is better, but better. From Khabarovsk to Mongolia, the path is rather long, more than three thousand kilometers, we thought that it was even good, the cars would “warm up” on our territory, if some kind of incident happens, then there will be an opportunity to fix it. The first day waved without looking 600 km. Second day. The next day we got up very early, there was still no sun. We had a quick bite to eat and hit the road. Somewhere in front of Chita, five hundred kilometers away, gas stations suddenly disappeared, barely holding on to some dilapidated gas station. We slept near the road right in the cars. Morning frosts and high humidity. They bypassed Chita, did not penetrate into this settlement. The pass was steep, the road was bad

We started on Kia Rio from Moscow. I’ll note a good route to Pyatigorsk, I didn’t meet any sections under repair, free movement without traffic jams, tobish traffic jams - in general, we drove without stopping. Spend the night to choose the hotel Mask-Pyatigorsk. Attracted in the first place by the fact that it was erected right next to the highway. By the way, the conditions are excellent! Taking a breath, we moved on. Having reached North Ossetia, we encountered the first stop, and then a forced one. The traffic cops asked to stop, so to speak. Normal check supposedly. The people here are very friendly - even on duty. After this entire successful section of our journey, we had to stand for 2 hours in a hopeless traffic jam. It was where the tunnel was. You will definitely pass it if you follow our route. We quickly crossed the border of Georgia, after which we could relax and calmly move on to Tbilisi. When we "settled" in the city, we ate, drank, took a nap and went for a walk. AT

I was in Greece! We traveled from Volgograd, of course, but I will tell you the part of our journey that starts from Turkey, because it was the most interesting one in our opinion. Each of us has probably already heard that the Greeks are not very hasty)) But this is their only drawback, guys. In general, the country turned out to be hospitable people. Expensive here, but where is cheap? In Russia, too, goods are not for the poor. We went during the summer months in July. We started in the capital of the Turks - Istanbul. Our dream was to visit even a small Turkish town, but remarkable for its beauty - they call it Marmara Ereglisi. The town is located near the Sea of Marmara. There, my wife and I managed to taste delicious tomatoes - small ones, you understand? I finally ate the kebab. Ahead of us was the border between Turkey and Greece. We drove to her quite well, admiring the beauty of nature. But the surprise for us was unexpected there. In general, we had to stay at the radio control point. Ges check

The whole family of four /my wife, daughter and son/ we go to the Baltic States by car. That summer we decided to go on a long journey again. We lost the correct route several times when we sometimes tried to detour and take shortcuts near Kozelsk. We got completely lost and made a decent detour. But that is another story. But they got to Optina Hermitage straight without any wanderings. After Moscow they went to Volokolamsk. Passing Volokolamsk, we stopped at one excellent hotel, very good, we stay here every year. Really a place with a very good aura and luxurious rural scenery. Let's go to Pskov, the places are marshy, there is a lot of moisture, settlements almost not. Everything around blooms and smells like a real jungle. Just God forbid to break down in this wilderness, what to do next ... I won’t be surprised if wolves and bears are found in the local forests. Near Pskov there is a wonderful village called Kobylye Gorodishche. Highly beautiful place. And there are funny names in the Pskov region: the river is nebol

Everyone certainly adore this beautiful seaside city of Odessa with impressive charisma and rich history. Almost everyone has been to this famous city, we also decided to go by car in a small company. In the midst of years, there is nothing to breathe in the city itself, more than a hundred kilometers to Chisinau and then even to South Palmyra from Chisinau - 170. In total, three hundred kilometers must be traveled, the path is not so close, given the scorching heat. The decision was made correctly: to go at night. If everything goes without a hitch, in the morning we will see the sea and a beautiful city. We drove without much haste, changed at the wheel. roads in this sunny country leave much to be desired, we had a laptop with us and air conditioning worked. While driving, we looked at vacant places in hotels and found a suitable location. At night, driving around these places is a pleasure. The smell of the steppe and fresh warm air are indescribable sensations and aromas. We stood for a while at customs, where we were bitten by mosquitoes the size of years

The beginning of autumn was very inviting. The weather was summer, but there was no heat. My favorite season. There was an opportunity to visit the Norwegian city of Olseunn, where we have good friends who live. We planned for six days. We reached Oslo unnoticed. The road is very beautiful, which is probably why there are many lakes and forests. There were no issues with customs, we left the small airport building and immediately saw a growing cherry)) We were a little surprised. Still, Norway is not exactly Austria or Italy. Friends met us, we went to visit them. People in Norway live modestly. It's in their blood. Nobody boasts of their wealth. To see a Porsche or Mercedes on the roads is extremely rare. This northern people is very practical and appreciates, above all, reliability and functionality. It is more convenient for a Norwegian to buy two inexpensive cars, one to go for groceries, the other car for a dacha or a picnic. In total, we had to wave, without looking, six hundred kilometers. The road is like glass, simple and

Trip idea - see French province and the coast, look into previously uncovered corners of Europe. This is the 6th trip to Europe in my car. Of course, the wow-effect has long been dulled. Especially after last year's trip to the happy countries of the world (Norway-Iceland). Therefore, I wanted a little bit of everything - nature, rural roads (away from autobahns), small towns and castles.

Somehow, our faithful friends told us: “Ah, you know, we have a dream to ride a camper. Would you like to join?" We embraced this idea with great pleasure. We immediately went over several places where we would like to visit, and settled on Karelia. Why not amazing place? And for the next six months, we had a common dream.

Well, well, I’ll try myself as a narrator on this forum, all the more, I think I have the right to do so, since since the end of the 80s of the last century I have driven cars of various stripes (from used “Germans” to our “Okushechki”, which was only in Sochi 3 times) more than one hundred thousand kilometers along the roads of Europe, the Soviet Union, the CIS and Russia (Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Crimea, everything Black Sea coast Krasnodar Territory and dozens of cities and regions of our vast Motherland).

The trip took place in the summer of 2015. After two short trips to Kazakhstan in 2013 and Baikal in 2014. The descriptions of the first two routes were not long in coming and were posted on the Drome immediately after returning. And this route, 50 days long, required great inspiration, a visit to the muse and a lot of free time. Therefore, some points present here are no longer relevant, please do not judge strictly, especially since some things (for example, prices) can be compared with the current ones.

For me, this trip was quite spontaneous. The customer, to whom we built this motorhome two years ago, called and offered to accompany him on a trip to Altai. The action plan included 2 main points: Visit the southern shore of Lake Teletskoye. Get to the Ukok plateau. The main character and home for the next 3 weeks is the Mercedes-Benz Zetros 2733 motorhome.

At the end of winter, you always want to warm up, it remains only to choose an option according to your budget, interests and time. Well, tickets, of course. The choice fell on South East Asia. We have already been to Thailand, Bali is expensive - they were lured by stories about cheap Vietnam. So there is a basic goal. It remains to be specific. But with this, typical problems - you want more of everything, and different things, and not to be on the move all the time. And then the thought popped up - anyway, in those parts - why not look at Angkor Wat, since it's still nearby? We sat down to dock travel, accommodation, tickets. We almost killed each other, but everything worked out and such a route was drawn.

Back in 2013, when we were young and arrogant, I suddenly wanted to go on a mountain hike. I drove past the Severo-Chuysky ridge in the Kurai steppe and realized that it was necessary. Upon arrival home, I started looking for information about routes available to conquerors with a zero level of training, and here it is - the Dome of Three Lakes, 1B, what you need. Judging by the descriptions of other travelers - a short walk to warm up before serious peaks - it suits, wrap it up. What is there in the pictures of people - backpacks, boots, helmets - ok, let's go to the store, buy backpacks, boots, helmets, this is too much, a stone definitely won't hit me, that's it - now I'm definitely a Conqueror. Of course, they also recommend good physical training, but, alas, I have work to do, I have no time.

How many times do you need to visit St. Petersburg to say to yourself: “Now I have seen everything here, it is unlikely that I will come back here again”? For me, this moment has not yet come, and can it happen, if from the first acquaintance 16 years ago to this day, I managed to visit Northern Capital only 8-9 times, and even then, several times at work. St. Petersburg opens up to guests gradually and unobtrusively, giving them the opportunity to feel for themselves what they used to live and what the city, which has become a legend, breathes today.

Across the Crimea up and down, or In search of a warm sea!

Finally, I had time to write a report about the trip that my husband and I made in the summer of 2017. This year, in anticipation of the journey, I was no less impatient than before. Already in February, during the first sunny days (the winter was snowy and cloudy), I had a premonition of travel. The gait accelerated, an involuntary smile began to appear on the face more and more often, and the gaze began to rush into the beautiful. sea summer!!! In March, I already put a notebook on the table, which contains a list of things needed for the trip. And my husband this year became more interested and began to prepare for the trip in advance, two weeks in advance. Removed the rear seats. A tarpaulin was stretched from the old tent so as not to spoil the lining at the backs.

Car tour of Transcaucasia (October 2017)

We began to think with a friend where to really go in October - preferably by car, preferably within 10 days, preferably to see something interesting, preferably to warm up. Initial options - Baikal (was swept aside for reasons of remoteness (4500 km one way) and low temperatures in October (-5 ... ). At this time, a friend accidentally stumbled upon a review https://travel.drom.ru/51864/ by Boris Kozyrev about a trip from St. route, and indeed throughout the journey, we were guided by his experience in many ways).

Latvia-Hungary. Intricate family trip

Unable to curb a sudden attack of graphomania, I share my impressions of last year's trip to the once fraternal countries, and may the readers of Droma forgive me. 2014 was a roller coaster for the financial possibilities of the family, and only in 2016 did we loosen up a bit, having finally decided to go somewhere. All the best goes to children, so first of all we send the young tennis player Mikhail to sports camp to Latvia. A Moscow coach of Latvian origin organized an international summer camp in his native village of Rucava, where children go every year - mainly Russia, the Baltic States, Belarus.

Arkhyz - lost world

This is probably in the mountains and they make mineral water there - that was where my knowledge of Arkhyz ended. At the family council, it was decided to eliminate this flaw in the knowledge of the Caucasus and chat a couple of friends to make it more fun. This is my first experience in writing reviews, do not judge strictly, I will only describe what I saw and heard from the local population, and also what I paid for.

Italian holidays, or the first pancake is not lumpy

In anticipation of writing a report on a summer vacation in the Balkans, I want to post a report on a trip to Italy in June 2016. The wife wrote, so the story will be conducted on her behalf. Let me tell you the story of our first road trip. Strictly, please do not judge, this is the first attempt at writing. Also, of course, there were mistakes in route planning. But everything comes with experience. So…

Liter Toyota SuperPlatz travels across Russia again

Route: Irkutsk - Ulan-Ude - Chita - Krasnoyarsk - Kemerovo

But before I start writing, I want to say that this road trip turned out to be quite unusual. And the point here is not at all in the route or sights. Now, analyzing everything that happened and reviewing the film shot on the trip, I clearly understand that all accidents are not accidental. I don't know how it happens and why it all worked out the way it did. Obviously, everyone in life has his own path of internal changes, which he must go through and change, become stronger and more conscious. It so happened that this period of our life coincided with the trip.

Our Altai 2017

he himself gave birth to IT, now I live with it. In general, my wife, having tasted and tasted the taste of a truck driver, requested a tourenduro for herself, because there was less and less asphalt in our route sheet. The choice was long and painful, but the stars aligned so that she rolled into the 2017 motorcycle season on a water goose. This year, as in the past, as, I hope, in the future, our wheels have turned to the east.

At the end of August 2016, I was returning from a trip to Mongolia. Having passed the border in Kyakhta, I approach Ulan-Ude and see a sign: Irkutsk - to the left, Chita - to the right. I went, of course, to Irkutsk, in the direction of the house, but the thought - and how it is further, beyond Chita - appeared. Over the past winter, this idea has become so strong that the preparation for the trip has moved into the phase of practical action. The route was built and calculated, gas stations were marked, the car was technically prepared. For maximum comfort, a sleeping place has been made - you can stop for a good sleep where you want and when you want. It is worth noting that this innovation did not cause dissatisfaction with the traffic police.

Altai - the heart of Eurasia

To combine business with pleasure, while still in Israel, I decided not to stay too long in Barnaul, but to ride into the mountains, towards the border with Mongolia. My friends in the tourism industry offered to go on a week-long tour as an assistant guide, in exchange for the opportunity to visit for free interesting places. Excellent, always dreamed of working for food and experiences. “Most importantly, remember that in translation from the Mongolian “Altai” means “golden”, and the guide will tell you the rest!” - admonished me before leaving in the office of the travel agency.

We decided to take a chance and did not regret at all, without incidents on the road (thank God), despite the age of the car (31g). The traffic cops did not stop, but saw off with their eyes))). In Gelendzhik, we rolled into the mountains, nature, the view is crazy, we drank from a mountain stream. We rolled up to Abrau-Dyurso through Novorossiysk, there, of course, just like tourist centre Everything is very clean and very nice. They rolled up in Dzhubga - a garbage dump, a dirty beach, Shanghai in a word, but for some reason people are rushing. Novomikhailovsky - as the complete opposite of Dzhubga. In general, ride along the coast. Then they rushed to the grandmother of the village of Kubansky (Novopokrovsky district), ate gourds from the belly, stayed for a while, helped with what they could and drove to Tyumen. By the way, I advise everyone who will be near Volgograd to go through the village of Kotelnikovo - the fish there is simply gorgeous of different smoking. In Tyumen, we slept for three days and in Nizhnevartovsk, there we changed our beast a little (freshened the paint), stayed with our parents and back to Tyumen. That's how my wife and I had a busy summer))) Traveling by car is a topic.
