Schedule of the palace bridge. Bridge drawing schedule in navigation

Compared to the previous year, the schedule for the construction of bridges on the Neva one change. After the opening of the Tuchkov Bridge, which was under reconstruction last year, the number of Birzhevoy Bridge bridges has changed (previously it duplicated the schedule of the Tuchkov Bridge) - the draw wings of this crossing will rise once a night instead of two times - from 2-00 to 4-55 in the morning . Tuchkov bridge returns to its previous mode - two wiring: from 2-00 to 2-55 and from 3-35 to 4-55.

The schedule for the construction of the remaining bridges remained the same: the Blagoveshchensky, Palace and Volodarsky bridges will be drawn twice a night, and the Troitsky, Liteiny, Bolsheokhtinsky bridges and the Alexander Nevsky bridge - once. The dispensing time has also not changed.

Sampsonievsky, Grenadiersky and Kantemirovsky bridges are still being drawn up on a preliminary request two days in advance. The time of their wiring is from 1-30 to 4-30.

The current bridge drawing schedule is available on the information portal of St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "Mostotrest":https://mostotrest-spb.ru/ .

Bridge draws are carried out in accordance with the Government Decree Petersburg dated November 29, 2006 No. 1480 “On approval of the rules for the operation of bridges and embankments in St. Petersburg”, namely: from April 20 to November 15 - on the arms of the Neva, from April 10 to November 30 - on the Neva and Malaya Neva.

In 2017, during the navigation along the Neva, St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution Mostotrest carried out 2356 wires bridges - by 39 wiring more than in 2016. During this time, the Neva has passed 3344 ships, including, 1704 upstream and 1640 downstream.

The leader in the number of distributions was Palace Bridge: for the entire period of navigation it was bred 421 once. In second place is Blagoveshchensky: its exponent is 420 . On the third - Volodarsky bridge: he was bred 377 once. All three crossings are the first or last (depending on the direction of movement) within the city for most ships traveling to Ladoga lake or the Gulf of Finland.

In addition, in connection with the work on escorting the bulk carrier Omsky-132 along the Neva River to a safe area in difficult ice conditions in the high alert mode, St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution Mostotrest carried out the wiring outside the schedule of the Volodarsky bridge and laying outside the schedule of the Palace and Blagoveshchensky bridges on the night of November 19-20, 2016.

In preparation for the new season internavigation period 2017-2018 Specialists of St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "Mostotrest" carried out Maintenance and adjustment of the entire volume of equipment on bridges, diagnostics and revision of their mechanisms, as well as selective repair or replacement of individual units based on the results of the survey.

All bridges received LED spotlights of the drawbridge illumination system.

Also, an audit of all serviced bearings of the rotation axes of draw spans and maintenance of the bearing parts of all draw bridges was carried out, measurements of the insulation resistance of supply cables and internal cable lines were organized.

New rod seals were installed on the wing drive hydraulic cylinders on the Volodarsky Bridge, and the pump of the draw span hydraulic drive pumping unit was replaced. On the Alexander Nevsky Bridge, the hydraulic drive pumping units were repaired, on the Bolsheokhtinsky Bridge, the mechanisms for controlling the flow of the hydraulic drive pumping units were repaired, and on the Liteiny Bridge, the hydraulic cylinder was repaired with the replacement of the rod and cover in the drive, as well as the pumping unit.

Sampsonievsky bridge received a modernized control scheme for the drawbridge. On the Kantemirovskiy Bridge on the draw span wing, two bearings of the rotation axes were replaced.

New highlights ship's passages fixed spans are installed on the Blagoveshchensky, Palace and Birzhevoy bridges. New LED modules of signaling systems during the inter-navigation period were placed on the Alexander Nevsky bridge, Birzhevoy, Volodarsky and Sampsonievsky bridges.

To prepare for navigation, St. Petersburg State Budgetary Institution "Mostotrest" conducted 51 bridge layouts. Most of all - 18 times - the Tuchkov Bridge was bred, which was opened after reconstruction in November last year.

ATTENTION! crossings this year the last divorce will be on November 30. Along with this, navigation along the Neva will also be completed, Online47 reports with reference to Mostotrest in St. Petersburg.

St. Petersburg is a city of rivers, canals and small streams. There are hundreds of bridges and bridges here, several dozen of them across the Neva and its branches. But only eight bridges are being built across the Bolshaya Neva, two across the Malaya, three across the Bolshaya Nevka. This is done so that ships can pass along the river during navigation.

Divorced spans of bridges are one of the symbols of St. Petersburg. But it could have been completely different. According to legend, Peter I, having laid the foundation of a new capital, did not order the construction of crossings in the city, imagining that residents would move mainly by water. But this idea did not take root, and already 20 years after the founding of the city, there were 20 bridges in it. Many of them were divorced.

In the 18th century, bridges were mostly wooden - floating (the crossing consisted of several parts lying on special barges) or permanent on piles. They were built in the manner of the Dutch ones, the adjustable parts were raised by winches or levers.

Already in the second half of the 18th century, along with the construction of granite embankments, stone bridges began to be erected. The flood of 1824 broke many wooden bridges and gave impetus to the construction of metal ones.

In the 1920s, reinforced concrete structures appeared. The bridges of St. Petersburg were repeatedly rebuilt, their structure changed. So, Nikolaevsky (now Blagoveshchensky), Troitsky and Liteiny - the first permanent bridges of Petersburg - up to the 1960s were divorced in a completely different way, as we see it now: draw spans did not rise, but were set aside. The span of the bridge unfolded parallel to the embankment, and two fairways were obtained at once.

Today, the drawing of bridges is subject to a certain schedule, which is determined by the location of the bridge in relation to the Gulf of Finland. The first are ready to let the ships into the city Blagoveshchensky and Palace bridges. They get divorced at 1 hour 25 minutes, ten minutes after them Troitsky rises, another five minutes later - Foundry.

The Bolsheokhtinsky bridge opens at 2 o'clock and the youngest of St. Petersburg's drawbridges, the Volodarsky, is the last to rise.

Breeding bridges is also a show for tourists. The spectacle is in great demand. People go to the drawbridges to watch and take pictures. Even special excursions are organized.

Location: St. Petersburg, city bridges

One of the most beautiful cities Europe, which is St. Petersburg, should be beautiful in everything. Palaces, museums, parks and, of course, bridges! Without this means of communication it is impossible to imagine this amazing city. These buildings, by right, can be called one of the brightest symbols of the city on the Neva. The total number of bridges in the city is more than 300, while 13 of them are bred in principle, and 9 - according to the schedule. The start of the "season" of bridges is the beginning of navigation along the Neva. In April, when the ice on the river is not a hindrance to swimming facilities, the season begins, and at the end of November it closes.

The process of drawing bridges has long been the attraction that every tourist wants to see. That is why many travel companies in their routes they pay great attention to this moment. Night is considered the natural time for building bridges. From about one in the morning until five in the morning, you can watch the gigantic “wings” of the bridges rise up, as if huge birds with luminous plumage are preparing to take off from the ground and fly away.

Enjoy beauty the right way!

In order to get the best view of the process of drawing bridges, it is worth heeding some of the tips below.

You can admire the drawn bridges while walking, but it is better when driving along the embankments: the first four bridges across the Neva are bred in the interval of 15-20 minutes. A good place for observation - Strelka Vasilyevsky Island. From this perspective, you will be able to observe the opening of the Palace and Trinity bridges. In addition to observing the process, you can listen to the musical fountain. Palace, Admiralteyskaya and Universitetskaya embankments are gaining more and more popularity. That's where the largest audience is.

Can choose bus tour, during which you will be taken along the Neva. Usually there are stops on such excursions, and you can get closer to the spans of the bridge. Another option is to go on a water excursion or book an individual boat trip. At the time of the bridges in the Neva water area, a great many of them gather.

Exceptional Exceptions

It is worth noting that on public holidays the bridges are not bred. And, on the contrary, on the Day of the Navy, the Day of the River Fleet, "Scarlet Sails" - the bridges are raised during the day. And one more feature: weather, whether it be a wind of 15 meters per second or an air temperature of more than 25 degrees, can become a stumbling block for bridges.

Note to motorists: not all navigator programs, when laying routes around the city at night, took into account the bridges.

Advice: From the practical side, it should be said: at the time of the wiring, be on the side where you live, otherwise you will have a pleasant, but not always desirable walk around the night Peter.

After reviewing the detailed bridge draw schedule, I think you will be interested to know that:

  • each of the spans of the Palace Bridge weighs 700 tons.
  • While in the parking lot near the Blagoveshchensky bridge, the legendary cruiser "Aurora" fired his shot, which served as the beginning of the assault Winter Palace in 1917.
  • Trinity Bridge is the work of the famous architect Eiffel, who is also the author of the famous Parisian eiffel tower. According to legend, the pilot Chkalov once flew under this bridge, having received the strictest penalty from the authorities for his hooliganism.
  • the longest drawbridge is the Alexander Nevsky bridge. Its length, without coastal facilities, is 629 meters, along with ramps - almost 906 meters.
  • Bolsheokhtinsky bridge has the largest span - 136 meters!
  • The Liteiny Bridge has the longest drawbridge in the world. The length of this wing is 67 meters.
  • most beautiful view The city opens from the Kirovsky (Troitsky) bridge across the Neva, built in 1903. One side Summer garden, Petrovskaya embankment. On the other side Peter-Pavel's Fortress, Spit of Vasilyevsky Island, Palace embankment with the Hermitage.

To look at the beautifully drawn bridges in St. Petersburg is a ritual. There is no other way to explain why even many indigenous residents of the city every season come to the center at least once at night, sometimes shivering from the coolness and basking in cognac, to meditate for the hundredth time on a ten-minute spectacle. Apparently, the ritual is worth it. More precisely, it is really worth it.

Schedule for drawing bridges in St. Petersburg in 2019

We provide in our article the schedule of wiring crossings northern capital, however, please note that it may change on a particular day.

There are many sites on the Internet that publish the divorce time, but there is only one official source: Mostotrest State Budgetary Institution, which is directly responsible, as its name implies, for these very bridges. His website:, by the way, is very convenient and pretty. Be sure, when going to the bridge show, go to it and make sure that nothing has changed in the schedule. The same rule works if you are going to spend part of the night on Vasilyevsky Island or the Petrograd side, after which you need to go to the "mainland" or vice versa.

It should be noted that since 2017, two bridges - the Palace and Troitsky bridges - are bred 15 minutes earlier than in previous years. This was done at the request of companies that conduct excursions along the rivers and canals of the city. Tourists now have an extra 15 minutes to sail under the raised bridges and admire the famous postcard views of the Northern capital in the absence of large cargo ships, for which, in fact, these bridges are bred 🙂

Divorce of Sampsonievskiy, Grenadierskiy, Kantemirovskiy bridges is carried out from 1:30 to 4:30 upon prior request 2 days in advance.

When is bridge building completed?
In accordance with the Decree of the Government of St. Petersburg, the bridges are bred:
- on the arms of the Neva from April 20 to November 15;
- on the Neva and Malaya Neva, that is, including in relation to the most popular bridges - Palace, Trinity and Blagoveshchensky - from April 10 to November 30.

But we must keep in mind that these are general parameters that are adjusted depending on the ice situation and the presence of ships that need to pass along the Neva. In autumn, especially in deep autumn, the flow of ships gradually decreases, and if there are no applications for the passage of bulk carriers and tankers on a specific date, then the bridges remain in a reduced position. The same thing happens if suddenly the Neva is covered with ice in November, as it sometimes happened, and, accordingly, not a single ship can pass.

Where to watch the drawing of bridges

In total, nine bridges in St. Petersburg "spread" their "wings" on a permanent basis, three more - on special request. Of them in tourist center There are three cities - Blagoveshchensky, Palace and Troitsky, which are located next to each other.

There are several options for the scheme, how to look at this whole show:

1) Stand next to the Palace Bridge (next to the Hermitage), see its bridge close up and little or almost nothing from Troitsky. This is the most common and, accordingly, the most crowded way.

2) Stand next to Troitsky, first look at the Palace from a kilometer distance, and then closely - at Troitsky. Also, in general, so-so.

3) Ours: correctly choose a point between two bridges and see everything.

4) Without fuss and hustle, look at the parting Palace Bridge from Vasilyevsky Island, from the Kunstkamera.

Now briefly about each.

Option 1 is a classic scheme that beginners fall for.

The Palace Bridge was bred at 01.25 (since 2017 - at ten o'clock). Tourists and other inexperienced people stick around the embankments - Palace and Admiralteyskaya - on both sides of the bridge (we mean the end of the bridge, which is located on " big land”, near the Hermitage, and not on Vasilevsky Island) to be as close to the action as possible.

It looks like this:

Moreover, the crowd on warm days, including weekdays, gathers forty minutes - an hour before the start, so it is very difficult to get into the first row of the “ground floor”, you have to stand on tiptoe and jump out from behind. Well, if you are 190+ centimeters, and if you are small, then there is nothing to catch.

There is also a version of the “gallery”: the Hermitage opens onto the Palace Embankment near the Palace Bridge, and it just has a high porch on this side, look at the photos below.

But even there, however, there is not much space - there will definitely not be enough for everyone with a full house.

When the Palace is bred, everyone first admires and takes pictures, and then most of the crowd rushes to the Trinity Bridge. However, Troitsky is bred only 10 minutes later than Palace, that is, just about the very moment when admiring Palace ends.

And the distance between them is 1.24 kilometers. And to run in two minutes, and even in ten, from one bridge to another is difficult. As a result, you come to the Trinity Bridge when it is already all divorced. There is an option to look at Troitsky from afar, but as practice shows, nothing is really visible.

However, if one bridge, moreover, the most picturesque one, is enough for you, and the day turned out to be cold, rainy and weekday, that is, there will not be a large crowd, then option 1 is your option.

Option 2 - watch only Trinity

This scheme has the advantage that the plastering of the embankments in the area of the Troitsky Bridge is very small, so you will have almost no competitors. You will also see the Palace, but from a kilometer distance, that is, approximately, in general terms - which, of course, is a minus.

Well, Troitsky is all yours. At the same time, only one span rises from it, which is very large in size, so the sight, especially if you are standing nearby, is monumental.

Option 3 - the golden mean

We found a point between the two bridges, which, in our opinion, allows us to look at the separation of both from an acceptable distance. This place is on the Palace Embankment opposite the building at number 26.

Here is how the Palace Bridge looks from this point:

And this is Troitsky (the photo was taken in front of the neighboring building, Palace Embankment 18).

The downside is that you will be a rare spectator, that is, you will not feel the emotional tension of the crowd. But for photos taken with a tripod, a decent camera with a good lens is just right.

Option 4 - calm

We are watching the opening of the Palace Bridge from the University Embankment (next to the VO Arrow). We get to the parapet of the Neva somewhere opposite the Kunstkamera. The view from there will be like in this photo.

On the opposite side of the Neva is the Admiralty, which is where the classic postcard views of Petropavlovka and the spread wings of the Palace Bridge are obtained. From our point of view, of course, there is no such kind. But there are also obvious advantages.

Firstly, there are much fewer people here than on the other side of the Neva. You can take a seat in the first row at the parapet 5 minutes before the bridge is opened.

Secondly, from the nearby Strelka of Vasilyevsky Island, you can take excellent photos of the same Petropavlovka, however, without a bridge.

Thirdly, those who live in the north or on Vaska will not be forced to hang somewhere in the center after the show of the bridges. To get to the Petrograd side, you need to cross the Birzhevoy Bridge (or Tuchkov), and from Petrogradka at any time, for example, through the Kamennoostrovsky and Ushakovsky bridges to yourself - in northern regions cities. Fortunately, these crossings are not bred. Or go along the Kronverkskaya embankment to look at the divorced Troitsky, enjoying magnificent views along the way.

If you didn’t suddenly have time to cross the Birzhevoy Bridge before its wiring, it doesn’t matter. You can now leave Vaska via Zapadny Speed Diameter(WHSD), both to the north of the city and to the south.

Option 5 - we look from the water. Night boat trip under the bridges

From the water, the impression is completely different, and this is not a rehash of water barkers, everything really is.
Night water excursions arranged almost the same as the day ones, which you can read about - in the sense that the ships are the same, from double-deck motor ships to small troughs with a motor; the night time is slightly longer and the cost is higher. For example: 1.5 hours for 800 - 1000 rubles, depending on the type of vessel and duration, instead of 1 hour and 700 rubles in the afternoon.

You can book this tour by clicking on the banner below.

It is important to immediately warn here: if the tour starts after 00.00, then when buying via the Internet, you need to choose the very date that began after these 00.00. If the tour is on the night of June 24-25, then you need to buy on June 25.

Option 6 - we look from the roofs. The best vantage points

Someone's hands and backs will not prevent you from seeing the magical action of the divorce of St. Petersburg bridges. From the roof, the waters of the Neva will be visible at a glance. And not only Neva. This is also a unique chance to look down on the city itself! Everyone will envy your photos, including professional photographers 🙂 You can choose one of the three roofs on the side of the Neva that is convenient for you, where our guides will take you.
You can read about the tour and order.

2. With a large crowd, selfie sticks help out a lot. The sidewalk along the embankment, from which you will be photographed against the background of the bridge, is narrow, and a lot of people walk along it.

3. If you need really, really good photos or videos, then the most important of all photographic equipment is a tripod. It’s better to forget the camera, but you need to take a tripod, because you can still ask someone for a camera, but most likely not a tripod.

4. They drive along the embankment and next to it, ready to take you home. First, the farther from the bridges, the cheaper they are; secondly, an official taxi is more reliable, safer, and if more expensive, then not much.

5. For lovers of bicycles - take a bicycle, if you don't have your own - there is a bike rental. You will have to swear trying to squeeze through the crowd, but (due to the mobility of a two-wheeled friend) you can see the opening of three bridges at once: Blagoveshchensky, Palace and Trinity.

6. For those who want this classic photo from St. Petersburg:

you need to take a place next to the Palace Bridge on the English Embankment, opposite the Admiralty.

Yes, but how, you ask, is the very bridge on which the art group "Voina" wrote a word in which the first letter is the second letter in the word "ear", and the second letter is the first letter in the word "ear" , and so on? This is the Liteiny Bridge, it is also located in the center - two kilometers from Nevsky Prospekt along Liteiny. True, it is not particularly popular with tourists. But if anything, he gets divorced at 01.40.
