All minecraft biomes. How to find a mushroom biome in minecraft called a winter biome in minecraft

A biome is a collection of ecosystems in one natural-climatic zone. In Minecraft, these are natural areas into which the world was divided after the Halloween Update. They represent separate zones landscape with different plants, terrain and blocks that make up the landscape.

Biome types.

There are 12 types of biomes in total:

Jungle.
A biome with a very large number of giant and normal trees. On them you can find a lot of vines and foliage. Also in this biome you can find a growing fern. Mostly this biome is hilly, it contains mountains. The crown of the tropical tree that grows on the hill is the highest natural point in the game. In addition, this biome has a friendly ocelot mob that is capable of sprinting. Also, only in this biome you can find the “temple in the jungle”. It is very rare for hostile mobs to spawn in the jungle, because there is a lot of foliage and spawning is impossible.

Swamp.
Plains biome with huge amount small lakes. Trees grow in lakes and mushrooms (mostly brown) grow underneath them. You can also find reeds. The water is predominantly gray in color, and water lilies float on its surface, for the collection of which a tool is not needed. Under water, you can find a large amount of clay from which you can make bricks. There is also often a witch's hut.

Forest.
A biome with a very large number of birch and/or oak trees, as well as a fair amount of grass. Sometimes it can spawn as a tech biome inside a plains biome.

Taiga.
Snowy landscape with gray-blue grass and a large number of coniferous trees. Since version 1.8 Beta, wolves appear there much more often. In 1.1, the developers fixed a bug due to which there was no snow and ice in the taiga. For the most part, the taiga is generated as hilly. Since version 1.7, there are two options: taiga without snow and cold taiga, where water freezes and snow falls.

Desert.
This biome mainly consists of sand, dry bushes and cacti. There are no trees because there is no land in the desert. Often found lava lakes, precipitation and water lakes. Occasionally there are sand wells, characteristic sandy villages and temples. Sometimes due to bugs in the desert you can find cacti up to seven blocks in height.

Plain.
A flat biome with lots of tall grass and hilly terrain. Trees are very rare. There are a very large number of ponds and ravines on the plains, and a canyon can also come to the surface. This is one of the three biomes in which villages come across (the second is the savannah, the third is the desert).

Ocean.
A very large biome composed entirely of water. At the bottom you can find plains and mountains, and the bottom itself mainly consists of gravel and clay. You can also often find canyons. The depth of the ocean reaches 30 blocks, and the length - up to several thousand. Occasionally, islands will spawn in the ocean, as small versions of other biomes.

Tundra.
A barren, snowy area with little to no trees, the surface of lakes and rivers in this biome is covered in ice.

The mountains.
A mountain biome that was introduced in 1.8 Beta. Trees are rarely generated. Here, more often than other biomes, you can find such picturesque structures as arches, cliffs, waterfalls, overhangs and flying islands. Also in the mountains there is the highest probability of generating underground caves. Sometimes there are small lakes at sea level. Emerald ore can only be found in this biome.

Mushroom Island.
The biome that most often spawns in the ocean on an island. The whole earth on it is covered with mycelium. This is the only biome, with the exception of the Dark Forest, where huge mushrooms grow and where mushrooms can grow in daylight. In this landscape, only mushroom cows naturally spawn.

What is a biome? Biome- a set of ecosystems of one natural-climatic zone. In MineCraft, a biome is a separate natural area, with its own landscape, type of trees and blocks. They are generated by the game algorithm, but can be set specifically with grain game world. More details in the full news.

There are 12 biomes in total in MineCraft. They have their own ID:

21 - Jungle. A biome with lots of shrubs, foliage, and giant trees that have their own texture and color. A friendly mob can also spawn - ocelot. It drives away creepers with its presence if tamed. Can spawn natural structures such as Temple in the jungle.

6 - Swamp. Low-lying surface, with a large amount of muddy-dirty, green water. Under the trees from which the vines hang, spawn in abundance mushrooms. water lilies float on the water, natural structures are generated - witch's hut.

4 - Forest. Lots of birch and oak trees. Tall grass, flowers. Rarely spawns inside the Plains biome, as a tech sub-biome.

5 - Taiga. Hilly area covered with snow. Spruces grow in abundance, wolves spawn.

2 - Desert. A plain where cacti grow. Sometimes generated temples in the deserts, wells, or villages. Trees are missing because they don't grow on sand.

1 - Plain. Flat landscape covered with tall grass. Sometimes villages are generated, more often lakes. Lots of flowers and animals.

0 - Ocean. Huge biome entirely made up of water. The bottom, consisting of sand, clay or earth, there are canyons. The length is up to several thousand blocks, the depth is up to 30.

12 - Tundra. Snow plain. Occasionally there are trees, rivers and lakes completely covered with ice.

3 - Mountains. The usual mountainous terrain, a small amount of trees and grass. Meet emeralds.

14 - Mushroom Island. The only biome that mushrooms grow in the light, present Huge mushrooms, mushroom cows. The earth is covered mycelium.

8 - Hell. A biome that exists only in the Nether. Limited by bedrock at height 1 and 128, lava is at height 31. Infernal fortresses are generated, gasts, zombie pigmen, wither skeletons, lava cubes spawn. Lava flows better than in the normal world. This means that it spreads faster and farther.

9 - Sky. A biome located in the End. An island floating in the air, made entirely of endstone with pillars of obsidian.

Sub-biomes.

7 - River. A recess made entirely of water. The river meanders strongly, being a valuable source of clay.

11 - Frozen river. Appears only in Taiga. Covered in ice.

16 - Beach. Nuff said. Sand, sand, sand. And sandstone, yes.

15 - Shore of the mushroom island. mushroom biome. But flat.

10 - Frozen ocean. The ocean, only covered with a thick layer of ice. In 1 block. 🙂

20 - Foothill biome.

17, 18, 19, 22 - Hills. Terrain modifier, there are desert, taiga, jungle, forest.

I hope you liked this article and the information was useful 🙂 I tried to write the most important information about biomes and reduce them to a single table in order to summarize and systematize all Biomes.

Instruction

If you're determined to find such a biome - whether it's for mining unique materials, taming mushroom cows, or for some other in-game purpose - you should first find out a bit more about what you're looking for (and see if you like it). he to you in general).

Places of abundant growth of mushrooms will always meet you only on the outskirts of the main "mainland" - in the form of islands. Where exactly the system will generate such a biome, you will not be able to predict. The earth is covered special kind block - mycelium. Mushrooms, including giant ones, grow on it in a natural way and even in clear daylight. Other plants are also found there, but on other types of soil (however, when mycelium spreads to them, they fall out of the soil).

Be sure to craft a boat - this is the only means of transportation on the ocean. In it, you will go in search of the coveted mushroom island. To make a boat, you will need five blocks of planks. Make them from the chopped wood available in the inventory or specially for this purpose (any kind of wood will do). Arrange the boards on the workbench so that its bottom horizontal row and the extreme cells of the middle one are completely occupied. Now just put the finished product on the water and hit the road.

Control the boat with the W, A, S and D buttons. Use the right mouse button to exit or enter the boat. Put in your inventory a sufficient number of supplies (including food) for a long voyage - for it is not known how long it will take to search for a mushroom island, and therefore the gamer (or rather, his character) may be in danger of starvation, and evil monsters may spawn nearby after dark .

Be patient - the mushroom island is not easy to find. However, if you do not want to wander for a long time in search of him, use some of the secrets of experienced minecrafters. Simply create a new world and enter the word "lost" or the number "4" in the line with the key to generate it. Entering the seed 3327780 may also work. Then you will find the biome you are looking for not far from your spawn location - but still in the ocean, albeit close to your shore.

note

Do not try to transfer the mycelium to a normal biome - it still does not take root there. This type of soil does not transfer to ordinary grass blocks (by the way, grass is not able to replace it in the same way). And when destroyed, the mycelium will drop in the form of a cube of ordinary earth. In addition, other plants do not take root on it (except, in fact, mushrooms), and only a mushroom cow is able to spawn - and even dark caves under this biome do not give rise to other creatures. However, snow golems and iron golems can also spawn there, provided they are properly conditioned.

The mountain biome is characterized by a very uneven terrain. A lot of high, almost sheer cliffs are generated here.

Sometimes one or more sides of the cliff are almost flat, which makes it possible to climb them simply by jumping over the blocks. But sometimes you can reach the top and go down only with a pickaxe with a sufficient margin of safety.

In mountain biomes, you can see amazing structures - arches and grottoes, waterfalls and lava falls, which can become not only a decoration for your home, but also an excellent guide. It is in this biome that you can find flying islands. At the foot of the mountains there are often small lakes, comfortably fenced off from the world by cliffs. Octopuses can even be found in lakes, and catching fish in them will not be difficult at all.

Coal and iron deposits often come to the surface of the cliffs, and inside the mountains you can find deep caves, going to the adminium itself. Mountain biomes often feature open caverns that can be explored for minerals without spending time punching mines. The main thing is to take plenty of torches and durable - such caves are usually full of zombies. For miners who wish to establish contact with local residents, the mountain biome is very important, because emerald ore is found only here.

The mountains are mostly covered with a small layer of earth and grass. Sometimes you can find whole areas of bare cobblestone and lava lakes located on it. Trees don't generate much, but usually enough to craft the necessary tools. Also here in a small amount are flowers and peaceful mobs, though less than on the plain or in the forest. Perhaps this is due to the fact that they fall off the rocks and break.

The mountain biome is well suited for building a house. If you make an entrance in a steep cliff not high above the ground, then it will be difficult for monsters to get into your house, and at night you can explore the caves lying at the foot of the mountain and improve them to your liking.

You should not place a house on the top of the mountain, although it is easier to protect it from mobs there. But then too much time will have to be spent on campaigns for resources. Unless, of course, you have Industrial Craft 2 installed and you are not going to install a generator.

On the mountain it is convenient to arrange a beacon from lavafall or a burning hellish stone, it will be visible from afar.
The inconvenience of the mountain biome is that there is a lot of shade on its territory, in which mobs spawn even during the day. It is not easy to escape from them because of the difficult terrain. The mountain biome makes it difficult to farm and it is difficult to fence off the necessary territory on it, because mobs can easily jump on your head from some cliff.

By the way, while I'm playing Minecraft, my sister gets me, but I open a site on my laptop that contains all the free games for girls only and let her play on gamergirl.ru. Yes, and sometimes I play interesting flash games on this site. I recommend.
