It is one of the main airports in Tunisia and has one terminal. It is only five kilometers from Monastir. If there is a reservation at the hotel, then the transfer is free. By the way, there are hotels right next to the airport. Inside the airport is rather poor:

By the way, information for "night-watchers" - the exchanger does not work at night. The terminal itself is not large, but there was a place for a mosque there. I didn’t like that we were taken from the plane in one bus, stuffed, in the truest sense of the word, all the way - I remembered city minibuses at rush hour. Inside the airport it was dirty and hot. I was especially struck by the toilet, it seems that it is cleaned once a month. But the staff, on the contrary, pleased. Passport control passed in a matter of minutes and the luggage did not have to wait several hours. And this despite the fact that the planes landed quite often and the passengers poured in a crowd. The duty free here is quite tiny, such a “box for a frog”.
By the way, it accepts only euros and dollars - the local currency is not quoted. There is also one small cafe - quite inexpensive and quite tasty. In general, the airport is not bad. Only cleanliness and transportation of passengers from the aircraft “limps”.
