The most visited place is Mamedovo Gorge, 3 km from Lazarevsky. The gorge in the valley of the Kuapse River resembles the Caucasus in miniature: rocks, between which a mountain river runs briskly, stone blockages from giant boulders, karst formations and waterfalls. On the excursion route with a length of 7 km, there are such sights as a grotto with sinter formations, stone gates in the form of an arch, a limestone "White Hall" with a waterfall "Beard Mameda", a reservoir "Bath Mameda", waterfalls "Happiness", "Youth" and "Love", in which it is recommended to swim sequentially. In addition, during the route you can visit Orekhovaya Glade and a dolmen carved in sandstone.
In the Mamedov Gorge there is a popular park - "Berendeevo Kingdom". Here, in the midst of an amazing forest with intertwining lianas and tree roots, the film "The Snow Maiden" was filmed in Soviet times. Now the beautiful names of natural objects, as well as wooden figurines of fairy-tale heroes, found here and there, remind us of our favorite children's fairy tale. The excursion trail is almost 3 km, but most of the waterfalls are located at the beginning of the path. In 30-40 minutes of a leisurely walk you can see the waterfalls "Kupava", "Nameless", "Snow Maiden", "Emerald", "Tears of the Snow Maiden", "Goddess of Love", as well as 27 meter waterfall Berendey's Beard. At the last waterfall is observation deck, from which the path begins 2.5 km to Mount Bezymyannaya. This section of the route is interesting for its megalithic complex with an ancient sanctuary, a dolmen and menhirs.
In addition to Mamedov, there are Svir and Crab gorges in the vicinity. Svirskoye lies on the outskirts of the village, the route along it is 3 km. Along the way, tourists are waiting for natural attractions: the Svirsky waterfall, the Slava dolmen (3rd century BC), the Moonstone, the Adam and Eve waterfalls, the Wishing Tree, the Teschiny Tears waterfall.
Crab Gorge is known, first of all, for "weeping" rocks and bizarre limestone formations, whose age is 70 million years. In addition, there are several waterfalls, bathing bowls, picturesque grottoes, grottoes, a karst canyon with travertine growths, an abandoned garden with subtropical fruit trees in the Crab Gorge. And also, if you're lucky, you can see freshwater crabs in the gorge in shallow water.
