Where to go without a visa in 2019: a simplified system

If the list of visa-free countries for Russians is not enough for you, then choose a destination with simplified entry for your vacation. In some countries, a visa can be obtained on arrival, in others an electronic visa is easily done. There are no difficulties in obtaining such visas - it is quick and easy. The lists below will greatly expand the geography of your holiday.

Visa on arrival

Russians in 2019 can travel without a pre-arranged visa to 31 countries- it will be delivered upon arrival at the airport. In some places you will have to pay (for example, in Jordan), and somewhere it will be delivered for free. In any case, a visa on arrival is a very convenient thing: you do not need to go to the consulate and collect a package of documents, wait a long time and be afraid that your visa will be refused. Often, in order to obtain a visa on arrival, you only need to have a return ticket or a ticket to a third country, a hotel reservation and sufficient funds to live in the country for the entire duration of the trip. Where can I travel with an e-Visa?

There are two types of e-visas:

actually electronic, that is, you issue it via the Internet and you are allowed into the country without pasting a paper visa into your passport (for example, in Cyprus);
electronic permission to obtain a visa upon arrival, when you only receive a visa permission via the Internet, and at the airport you are pasted a visa into your passport (for example, in Vietnam, if your stay exceeds 15 days).

Both visas are convenient and save a lot of time and nerves. Usually, in order to obtain a visa permit, you need to pay a fee and send scanned copies required documents. Below is a list of countries where in 2019 you can travel without a visa in the traditional sense - that is, you can either apply for a visa permit via the Internet or get an electronic visa.

Georgia

India

Kenya

If you want to go to real black Africa, go to Kenya or Tanzania! Alas, these countries are not included in the list of visa-free for Russians, and tickets are not cheap - from 32,000 rubles. Philippines

An unfortunate paradox and injustice - the list of visa-free countries for Russians includes almost all states South America and Caribbean but flying there is very expensive. Just do not forget that the sea in the north warms up later, so Black Sea coast Turkey is more often visited by connoisseurs of ancient ruins, rather than beaches. The Sea of Marmara is more conducive to an active (or vice versa - as you like it!) Beach holiday, but the water before the beginning of June is still too invigorating. The universally recognized "sun bath" of Turkey is, of course, the beaches mediterranean sea on South. Here, the infrastructure of eternal summer is thought out to the smallest detail, and everyone will find a place to their liking - someone in a sun lounger, someone on the crest of a wave. The coast of the Aegean Sea is ideal for beginner divers, rafting on mountain rivers awaits extreme people, and romantics can take a trip on a yacht, which at night can turn into a foamy party right on the deck. South Korea

Still want to relax "not like everyone else"? Then head for South Korea, framed on three sides by the beaches of the Yellow, Japan and East China Seas.

Seoul residents love to sunbathe on east coast country, especially since a beach holiday here is so easy to combine with health care and cultural experiences. The city of Sokcho, for example, is famous for the Cheoksan hot spring spa resort, Seoraksan Mountain Nature Park, and the 8th-century three-story Hyangseongsaji Pagoda and Buddhist monastery Sinhyns of the 18th century. People go to another popular South Korean resort - to Gangneung - not only for a golden tan, but also to admire the bizarre Muryn Gorge and Guryong Waterfall, which seems to have descended from a classic Chinese miniature.

The peak of solar activity in South Korea observed on the tangerine island of Jeju and on the “cow island” of Udo, 3.5 km to the east (Koreans see on the map a cow lying down to rest, hence the name). All conceivable beach activities are included, but the crowds of tourists are right there. Maldives

What unites Anastasia Volochkova, David Beckham, divers and newlyweds? Of course, love for Maldives. Anomalous activity discovered at this year-round resort: life-changing!

The Maldives is equally great to explore undersea world scuba diving and admire the shades of the sky with an exotic cocktail. Here, to this day, you can find a secluded beach and corners of untouched nature, despite the abundance of chic hotels, romantic villas, pretentious restaurants and spas. In fact, there are so many hotels on the islands that some did not even have enough space on the shore.

The beaches of North Male Atoll are closest to the airport. Ari Atoll is famous for its calm sea, convenient access to coral reefs and proximity to marine reserves. 130 km south of Male, on the white sands and in the clear waters of Miimu Atoll, giant sea turtles are registered, and on the most southern islands Maldives - Addu Atoll - you can get a certificate of crossing the equator in between.

Cyprus

It is impossible / doubly pleasant to lie by the pool, knowing that two steps away - ruins with a thousand-year history (underline as necessary). Aphrodite herself must have endowed this island with the ability to fall in love with herself.

Reversing the saying, we can say about Cyprus: how many people, so many beaches. For example, Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa was created for youth parties and resort acquaintances, and on the beach of Fig Tree Bay in the same Ayia Napa, it is ideal to relax with children. The quiet picturesque village of Protaras is also famous for its wonderful conditions for family vacation, and there is also an elite Sunrise with luxury hotels and Connos Bay, which will appeal to lovers of secluded relaxation. Do not forget about the obligatory point of the program - reset a couple of years by swimming in the bay of Aphrodite between Limassol and Paphos. If you are going to enter Cyprus several times within six months, it is also easy to apply for a multiple-entry visa at the consulate.

Montenegro

On the coast of Montenegro, in addition to being warm from June to October, clean sea, offers medieval fortresses, Venetian palaces, Christian monasteries and Turkish aqueducts. Near the town of Herceg Novi, in the resort of Igalo, you can pamper yourself with spa treatments with therapeutic mud. At least a couple of days should be devoted to the continental part of Montenegro: breathe in the aromas of a pine forest in a stunning national park Durmitor with crystal lakes and the gorge of the Tara River or get to Skadar Lake, along the banks of which ancient fortresses and monasteries are scattered.

Abkhazia

Down with language barriers! You can safely travel to hospitable and in every sense warm Abkhazia with children without knowledge of foreign languages and even without a passport. The only but: make sure that you do not inadvertently end up on the territory of Georgia.

Israel

Do you feel that both the soul and the body need healing? Then Israel is just what the doctor ordered. Maybe local attractions and placebos, but they still work!

Sea adventures in Israel can be started already in the reckless and party Tel Aviv. On the local Mediterranean coast, all conditions for sports recreation are created: on Gordon Beach opposite Sheraton Hotel you can play tennis and volleyball, and Hilton Beach is popular with surfers. Life is in full swing on the portside beach of Hof a-Metzitzim, about which even a movie was made: here you will find a colorful market, trendy bars, and designer boutiques - and everything is within walking distance from the beach umbrella. And the most calm beaches Tel Aviv is considered to be Alma in the south, next to ancient Jaffa, and Banana Beach, where locals like to relax with the whole family, but it is never crowded.

The Red Sea is warmer than the Mediterranean, so the real resort splendor of Israel is revealed in Eilat. The local pearl is the coral beach Hof Almog. In its southern part, closer to the Egyptian Taba, kitesurfers catch the winds, and the north of the beach is created for diving, which you will tell your grandchildren about.

If you want to forget about problems and feel complete peace, go to the Dead Sea. You can hardly learn to walk on water, but you can try yourself in the role of Benjamin Button: rejuvenation at local salt and mud resorts is guaranteed. And what about the visa? Residents of Russia can enter Israel without a visa as much as they want, the main thing is to spend no more than 90 days in the country in total for six months. Just make sure that your passport is valid for 6 months from the date of arrival, and prepare documents that may be useful at the border.

Morocco

So far, the Russians have tasted only two Moroccan resorts - Agadir and Essaouira, both on the shores of the Atlantic. If you are not too lazy to drive 160 km to the south, take such a selfie against the backdrop of the red rocks of Legzira that you have never had so many “likes”. And if you're up for more for a rare experience, head to Dakhla. Ocean water is here all year round+25 °С, and instead of crowds of tourists - rare monk seals and a flock of surfers who compare Phum Labuir beach with Hawaii. Here you can go fishing or rent an SUV and go deep into Western Sahara to master the life of real nomads - such a vacation will not be forgotten! In addition to a beach holiday, it is worth visiting the capital of Morocco, Rabat (the minimum program is the Royal Palace and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V), Marrakech (which will win you over - Old city"medina" or new district Ville Nouvelle?), Casablanca (maybe you will hear echoes of cinematic passions) and Fez (especially good for leisurely strolls through the gardens and a cup of mint tea in a cute cafe). We also advise you to wander through the blue labyrinths of the mountainous Chefchaouen, which was included in the top of the brightest cities in the world according to Skyscanner. A bonus for fans of Game of Thrones and other movie epic masterpieces: some scenes with the Mother of Dragons were filmed in the medieval ksar of Ait Ben Haddu.

And what about the visa? Citizens of Russia can rest in Morocco for up to 90 consecutive days without a visa, but the passport must be valid until the end of the trip. On the plane, you will need to fill out a migration card.

Madagascar

The company on vacation on the fourth largest island in the world will be made up of motley lemurs, colorful geckos, beak-chested turtles, panther chameleons, pharaoh mice and - now attention! - hands ah-ah. If you think that these are all the surprises of nature that await you in Madagascar, it was not there. Landscapes on the island-reserve succeed each other, as in a kaleidoscope: just now you were walking among the baobabs, when you suddenly found yourself near a rice field or a dormant volcano. The west and north of Madagascar are perfect for a beach holiday in summer: rainfall is rare here, the water off the coast of Morondava is never cooler than +25 ºС, and on the island of Nosy Be there is always saturated humid air, warmed up to comfortable + 26-28 ºС. If you can’t stand the humidity, head to the resorts of the Anakao Peninsula in the southwest: here the climate is semi-desert with a fresh breeze. On the famous island of St. Mary (Nosy Buraha, aka Ile Sainte Marie), sunny weather most often lasts from late August to December (in July-September, you can also watch whales). If you are driving south east coast, to the coral beach of Fulpoint (Mahavelona), keep in mind that it is safe to swim only in the hotel area: real sharks are in charge of the reefs. Prices, it should be noted, also bite, especially in the south of the city - do not hesitate to bargain.

When a travel agency employee came to our office and offered to spend the weekend in Seoul, I immediately agreed. My friend Valya and I were just discussing the issue, where to go for the weekend. We were not supposed to have a real vacation in the summer, but it was just the way to spend an interesting weekend. About Seoul, I heard a lot of rave reviews from my colleagues who have already visited South Korea. Whoever goes there for the first time will be very interested, but my friend and I wanted to go to Korea.

All of them are well dressed, polite and treat tourists well.

Bridge Fountain "Moon Rainbow" my very vivid impression in Seoul. The Banpo Bridge across the Hanshui River has 2 tiers. Cars and pedestrians move along it from above, and a jet fountain is arranged below. When we were on observation deck fountain, it seemed to me that I was inside a waterfall, it is very beautiful. At night, the fountain is illuminated, the jets are painted in all the colors of the rainbow.

I remember and Cheonggyecheon riverfront. This river was previously concreted, a highway passed in its place. Now it has been revived, and the gas-polluted area of Seoul has turned into a wonderful comfortable zone for living and recreation. On a hot day, we were able to sit on its steps and cool our feet in the river water.

In Seoul, we admired the old pagoda-style palaces. When you look at these majestic buildings and sentries in bright Korean costumes, it seems that time has turned back.

In Seoul we looked interesting places, swam in the sea, bought good jeans for themselves, and toys for children. Korean products are of high quality, they are much better than Chinese ones. We also liked Korean cuisine, especially seafood, but it is very spicy. People are polite, but you should not wear too open dresses, here it is considered indecent. This city is original and modern at the same time. Everything here is done for the convenience of residents and tourists.
